IoIC Scotland Networking Events

All new networking events - Glasgow & Edinburgh Dear IoIC members and friends,  The latest free networking events from the Institute of Internal Communication (Scotland) are coming up fast. They're very popular, very informal, a great way to find out what other communicators are doing and an excellent way to expand your own network. You'll meet people from across the industry - from the corporate side, from agencies and from the specialist freelance community. There will be people who specialise in strategy, in design, in video, in social networks, in editorial and much more. IoIC Scotland - Free Internal Comms Networking Events

Dear IoIC members and friends, 

We're very excited to offer two free breakfast networking events. These are the first of their kind and will provide an exciting new forum for the internal comms fraternity in Scotland.

You'll be able to chat to other communicators and to share your knowledge and experiences. We'll also be talking through a short case study of one our member's pieces of work. A big thank you to GHA and Hudson for offering to host the events at their premises.

Scottish award winners announced

A great night was had by all at the IoIC Scotland awards, held in the sumptuous surroundings of Prestonfield House Hotel.

“If you were one of the 150+ there you’ll know it was a glorious evening of great food, great chat, great music and (some) great dancing,” says IoIC regional director for Scotland Magnus Wake. “If you missed it, don’t worry – there’s always next year. 

“Of course, we were there to celebrate the outstanding work done by our members in 2012. There were worthy winners across all the categories, and it's important to remember that just being shortlisted is a huge accolade to be proud of.”

IoIC Scotland Awards 2012 Entries Deadline

The IoIC Scotland Awards 2012 are now open for entries. But don’t delay – the closing date for entries is Friday November 30.

The IoIC Scotland Awards recognise the very best talent, skills and achievements of communication professionals in Scotland.

Entries are welcome from anyone involved in communication to employees and/or stakeholders. The competition is open to both members and non-members of the Institute of Internal Communication. Any organisation or individual based in Scotland or communicating to audiences in Scotland may enter. You can enter your organisation’s work and people in one of 32 categories, covering both traditional and digital media.

The winners will be announced at a black tie awards dinner on Friday March 1, 2013, at one of Edinburgh’s finest hotels – Prestonfield House Hotel.
