i am growing so fast in my current role at work and while it is so exciting, i can already feel like i'm losing my sense of self as i dive into this role. not because i hate my job, but because it's becoming more serious and it just feels like it's consuming me. climbing higher is no joke.

i've been working incredibly hard for the past 3 months, working 10-12 hours every day. i feel like i am thinking about work 24hrs a day. and i also just care about the work i do and my job and the people i work with.

but i am just yearning to feel like myself again or to feel ALIVE again- to be with my friends, to go out and party, to LIVE.

and i'm exactly where i want to be. i am just not ready to let go of what life used to be. simpler. is this growing up? and who says i have to let go of that part of me? no one has said so. it's just things are changing. it's scary, exciting, challenging- all good things for growth.
