Thinking abt the no kill rule thing and trying to see which Incredibles Characters are in a strict No-Kill Rule to 'screw morality' in my headcanons.
'Morality is a Suggestion':
Category for Incredibles Characters that I headcanon don't have a no-kill rule and will choose killing as a default.
Gamma Jack - This is basically Canon, but it's not like he has much of a choice. His powers literally insta-kill people.
Everseer - 'People who choose Psychology as their course usually think something is wrong with them' -My Philosophy Teacher
Blazestone - She's been a criminal for who knows how long. She has some habits from that time and honestly her morality was kinda sacrificed in favor of survival.
Splashdown - Idk why but I think he doesn't have one
Angel Strike (The Winged hero) - He tends to hunt like a bird most of the time.
Tradewind - I haven't thought of a reason yet but he doesn’t have a no kill rule
Characters that WILL kill but prefers not to for one reason or another. This will actually include a lot of characters.
Macroburst - In my headcanons they're a street kid so they've had to kill in order to survive. Doesn't mean they like it.
Hypershock - Killing is one of the reasons for his alcoholism, he's still very much haunted by war and violence. Doesn't mean he won't do it, he knows how the world operates he just chooses not to half the time because of his trauma.
The Phylange - He's actually close to the level to a no kill rule tbh but he has killed people with his scream at one point.
Psychewave - She works with Everseer. But also some people need a taste of their own medicine.
Plasmabolt - She was one of the heroes who fought in the war so she has a pretty ambiguous morality.
Mr.Incredible - We all saw the scene where he held Mirage, dude was gonna squash her head. But I like to think that the real reason Bob prefers NOT to kill is because he would be seen as aggressive, a beast. I honestly think one of the main reasons Bob gets along with people like Gazerbeam and Gamma Jack is because they have powers that can cause people to see them as 'Dangerous'
Gazerbeam - Simon is actually pretty morally grey all things considered. He knows that sometimes there is no other option. However it still makes him uneasy so he prefers to let the criminal go through the process rather than killing them.
Frozone - He's actually almost in the No Kill Rule considering his powers don't seem as deadly. But my guy is literally faster than a bullet he's HAD to kill if he doesn't see another way.
Elastigirl - Girlie was a Pilot. I know the Elastigirl Prequel didn't delve too much in this but I think Elastigirl did fight in the war AS A PILOT and considering her own screen time in the movie and how much of a realist she is, she knows that sometimes her job needs her to compromise her morality
Downburst - Surprisingly he isn't in the No Kill Rule, but being with Hypershock tended to influence him a bit. At the same time though, Downburst tends to be a bit realisitic, sometimes going up to a criminal doesn't exactly go well.
Apogee - Also almost in the no kill rule. But mostly because her powers mostly stun and disable not kill.
Blitzerman - Will choose mercy by whatever means necessary.
Fironic - Will choose negotiation before lethal force.
Vectress - Also haven't really thought of a reason...
Stormicide - Mostly 50/50 but she was one of the nurses tending to the soldiers so she's seen the horrors of humanity already. She knows that not everyone can stay morally good forever.
The group that has a strict no kill rule for one reason or another. This list is very small for a plethora of reasons. Literally this movie takes place in the 1940s-80s they are honestly not a good time period for moral absolutes. But some still hold them regardless.
Stratogale - She's still pretty young, and honestly she may feel a little disturbed by people who do kill.
Thunderhead - He has a gentle heart and will sympathize with the dead. I may make him participate in war and even witness death but I think Thunderhead himself will ultimately decide to try and not kill after the war is over.
Universal Man - I honestly think this a direct result of what happened AFTER the War, he chooses not to kill. At least not anymore. But he's also surprisingly undisturbed when other heroes choose to do it.
Dynaguy - I honestly think he's just a really nice dude.
Meta Man - Surprisingly he has a no kill rule. Not sure why as well...
