Narcissists love unconditional support but rarely offer unconditional support in return.
A person who genuinely loves you wants to understand your pain. A narcissistic person wants to explain why your pain is inconvenient.
Some people don't listen to understand. They listen long enough to figure out how to make the conversation about themselves.
A narcissistic woman often wants loyalty from everyone while giving loyalty to no one. Rules for you, exceptions for her.
One of the biggest red flags: when someone needs to be the victim in every story, even the stories where they caused the damage.
Notice how some people can never apologize without adding a reason why it was actually your fault. That's not accountability. That's blame wearing a disguise.
I only want people in my life that make me feel safe. Safe to talk , safe to share, and safe to be myself.
attention is one of the rarest forms of love

the scariest place to be is where the love isn’t.
hey sorry I snapped at you, I've just had a really hard day and [remembers focusing on myself is selfish] maybe it's your fault for provoking me?
“Accept the fact that you will grow apart from people you’ve had significant relationships with. Understand when someone no longer positively affects your life. Let them go. Don’t hinder your growth.”
