general disclaimer that i'm not affiliated with grrm nor hbo in anyway, but all content related to haelesys's development as an original character is mine and mine alone. this blog is currently iconless and will likely remain that way, sorry.
02. trigger warnings. all general triggers related to the a.soiaf & g.ame of thrones universe apply. haelesys is written as a character whose very existence and actions challenges traditional westerosi gender roles and ideals. he is trans and he is black. content related to transphobia, racism, colorism, misogyny, gender expression, gender affirming care, childbirth, pregnancy with a trans man, and more will be discussed and analyzed in relationship to his character and life. i don't write incest, but considering this character is a targaryen, discussions of the family's past are inevitable. all triggers are always tagged to the best of my ability. there are some that i simply won't tag, such as canon typical violence, because it's a given. all sexual content is tagged as “usfw /” if explicit and “suggestive /” for non-explicit content.
author notes. haeslesys character is heavily dependent on pre-established relationships such as targaryen familiar ties. he is the twin brother of dae.nerys and heavily conntected to luxx's dany's. if you are uncomfortable / dislike family member original characters this is not the blog for you.
03. following/interactions. ASKS AND MESSAGES FROM MUTUALS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME <3. there's no expiration date for any prompts i reblog. please try to reblog musing posts + prompts from the source when available. my discord is available upon request, but i prefer to plot in tumblr ims until i get to know someone better. if it's been a few days without a reply from me, please do give me a nudge. i have memory issues and am never intentionally not replying.
04. shipping / nsfw. no targcest, we don't do that shit here. other than that, as long as you respect my character's gender & sexuality, my dms are always open !
05. verses. i'm very crossover friendly even if i do not have a set verse for something specific. i am always happy to create something new for our characters. additional verses are under construction.
NOTE FOR HOTD / AKOTSK MUTUALS: ABSOLUTELY WOULD LOVE TO WRITE WITH YOU, but please be aware that i currently do not have ESTABLISHED VERSES for these timelines. i'm having trouble fitting haelesys into them in a way that i am comfortable with. i'm more than fine with keeping timelines vague for these interactions OR plotting something specific for individual interactions and threads.
06. timeline. i use a combination of both show + book canon for my blog. by default, i'm extremely canon divergent and not canon compliant.

hey friends , complete transparency— this week has been absolute shit for my mental health and emotional state. i’ve been trying to power and giggle through but ive reached the point where i feel bad because im genuinely so drained that i can’t engage and interact with you all like i want to.
im hoping i’ll still be able to be mobile this weekend if i don’t get time to write, but considering my brain+having a presentation due sunday, along with an essay due i think i’ll mostly be mobile locked.
Namaygoosisagagun First Nation/Collins has burned to the ground. The entire community is nothing but ashes after being quickly consumed by wildfires. They did not have any support from emergency services, and no one offered aid. The community saved themselves by escaping into boats because no one came.
Mishkeegogamang and Cat Lake have lost power. Families are ending up in shelters with nothing. Armstrong, Lac La Croix, Whitesand, Gull Bay, Lac des Mille Lacs are currently in the fires path and all members are being evacuated.
All this loss, all this devastation, and it was entirely preventable.
After steadily underfunding wildland firefighting and purposefully excluding Indigenous wildland firefighters and Indigenous wildfire organizations from wildfire operations, firefighter training, decisionmaking, and resource exchanges, in 2025, Doug Ford slashed the forest firefighting budget.
It's hard to ignore his decision to cut funding and leave us out of adequate fire training (even though we've lived with forest fires for thousands of years—far longer than settlers have been in Canada—and made sure fires like the ones we're all seeing today were prevented through kinisitotēn) when, despite making up less than 5% of the population, we account for 42% percent of all wildfire evacuations in Canada.
And when we are successfully evacuated, we face discrimination and racism—like Kashechewan—because it's always been easier to blame us than it is to blame the true culprit: denialism, corportate greed, and colonization.
The people of Collins and every other impacted community deserve better.
Right now, the AFN is currently accepting donations to help Collins First Nation. If you're able to, please consider donating.
ONWA (Ontario Native Women's Association) is another great place to donate to. They have outreach vans going to motels and inns and offering food, water, resources, and cultural support to those impacted by the wildfires.
Other places to consider donating to are Mikinakoos Emergency Fund, Red Cross, True North Aid, Indigenous Climate Action. You can also send donations directly to Whitesand First Nation via e-transfer ([email protected]) and they request that you add your full name in the e-transfer comment section to receive a tax receipt.

for the sake of my own canon , instead of tyrion alone unchaining viserion and rhaegal- i imagine it was lesys and tyrion. there's no way with dany missing he wouldn't do it but i also imagine it the choice to do so was the result of a compromise. the dragons would be unchained under the condition that haelesys did not attempt to go after his sister once they did, despite his desperation and desire to, because he's needed there in meereen ( they all probably have already had to stop him from trying to because lesys with or without them was going to unchain the dragons but without a doubt would have climbed onto viserion to go search for his sister ).

i was thinking about what haelesys's relationship with all three dragons is like outside of his bond with vi.serion as dragon & dragonrider. vise.rion is the dragon he's bonded to but he does have a strong & close relationship with all of three despite not being the one to hatch them. haelesy's relationship with the dragons & his ability to have this close relationship with them isn't solely based upon the fact he is a targa.ryen, and has valyri.an blood, but is tied directly to him and dany being twins.
if dragon and targa.ryen are intrinsically linked, down to their very blood, then its an instinctive recognition on the part of d.rogon, r.haegal, and v.iserion to sense the similarities that the twins have on not only a physical level, but on a deeper spiritual one as well. d.any is undoubtedly their mother and the similarities between the twins, their own connection and one-ness, is sensed by the dragons leading them to recognize haelesys as important to them. they display their love and affection for him in a manner similar to how they show their affection for her. the closeness they share with their mother translates directly over to the closeness they share with haelesys BECAUSE of his own deep connection to his sister. as twins he and d.any share even more dna than the average siblings and shared the same womb⸻ they are one and intrinsically linked themselves.
i talk mad shit and shitpost about lesys’s companions titus and basile (i've been trying to limit it to my sideblog for his court, @drgonscourt) but the fact of the matter is—there are no personality hires in haelesys’s court. he and dany succeeding is life or death for them and therefore he cannot afford to place his trust in the wrong people.
he does not tolerate incompetence. if someone is in his sphere, has close access to his person then he sees something valuable in them and they are more than capable when it comes to their skill set.
even in character—comments about basile & titus are strictly about who they are as people and their personalities.
basile has never once pretended to meet the chivalric characteristics often expected and attached to the idealized version of a westerosi knight… but he’s a damn good killer.
titus might be strict, overly devout, and a borderline zealot— but he is a decorated soldier, an expert commander, and famed fighter with the entire confidence and loyatly of his men.
neither would be by haelesys's side if they weren't great at what they do nor would they be if he didn't trust in their abilities.... and if you been here awhile, you already know how hard earend haelesys's trust is.
