the writers and their selective jemily moments can be so frustrating bc why is it that emily gives JJ this job but the same emily is nowhere to be seen while JJ is dealing with henry going off to college - i’m not saying every episode needs jemily but it just doesn’t make sense like SURELY emily would have something to say or advice to offer (don’t get me wrong i loveee the garvez involvement but it equally makes sense for emily to have some too)

i love the universal agreement that all JJ fans love Luke, like we don’t play when it comes to that boy

i wish they let JJ be angrier about baugate bc the concept of it is hideous and the fact it was brushed off the way it was is just ridiculous to me sorry

a prime example of this was JJ confronting emily about it while they were both high (a sentence exchange and that was that) - i get that JJ highly respects emily and has never undermined her / is always on her side BUT she had every right to be angry with her and the writers just didn’t bother

they could have delved into a jj and emily falling out / team falling apart (jemily angst) arc like yes it would be painful to watch but also very interesting especially when you consider JJ has neverrrr turned her back on emily before and how this could genuinely tear the team apart bc their relationship is such a strong backbone holding the BAU together… but no let’s talk more about voit and rossi’s delusions or whatever
