@ipottersmith
Hello all! So I am multiple days late here, for which I apologize. I HAVE been painting daily, although most of it has been for clients. I worked on a personal piece over the last few days in the evening as well, which I’m excited to share with you today!
Alright! Day 2 of painting daily. Let's do this! Today I was walking inside from the porch, when I noticed that I was casting a really neat shadow on the ceiling, so I immediately pulled out my phone, posed a bit, and snapped the shot on the right.
Just had to paint my favorite frame from Force Awakens!
I've been having a blast figuring out various ways to achieve textures in Photoshop this week! Kyle Brush made all of this possible.
I feel like this is a little bit too real
I've been having a lot of fun drawing Toro the Shark for Sherpa Multimedia recently!
I was recently commissioned to paint some poppies-- this happened to coincide with the release of Kyle's Impasto Brushes for Photoshop, which was a perfect fit!
Taking a break for the evening from playing with Kyle’s new impasto brushes!

Just updated my website! Check it out!
This is a piece I did a couple of years ago that I’ve always loved
I also like painting translucencies! When you shine light from the front, you see one image. From the back, and you see another! 2 of these are personal, and the other 2 are from Beauty and the Beast which I charged this summer!
Painting sizes in order: 4′x8′ 10′x10′ 8′x12′ 4′x3′
I like painting big :)
This is the Unraveling Man. His name is John, but only I get to call him that.
Portraits are fun
Aaaand some concept art from another comic!
Fun fact-- this is the first piece I completed using Astropad on iPad Pro!
Some of my favorite pieces of concept art for a comic I’ve had in the works for quite a few years now!
