THE 2019 HBH FAMILY HOLIDAY PARTY IN A NUTSHELL

Ah yes, HBHās infamous yearly Christmas party, where artists and trainees under HBH Entertainment gather together to celebrate as one big, messy, dysfunctional family.
In case you didnāt know, last year was really laid back. It was basically one big sleepover. But Hak Bonghwa doesnāt like to do the same thing twice in a row, so he asked everyone to show up in red or white formal outfits because this yearās theme wasā¦. candy canes!Ā
Yup, he decided to make everything red and white to replicate that of a candy cane. In all honesty, he turned the practice rooms into something right out of Candy Land.Ā
In practice room 1 was the standardĀ ādance floorā with a dj in the corner and a bunch of green, red, and white flashing lights.Ā
In practice room 2 they had a bunch of food as well as a candy grab bag buffet. They had a chocolate fountain with white chocolate and various red foods for dipping. They also had a cookie decorating station. All the food was either red or white.
In practice room 3 was a more relaxed setting with couches pulled in from the lobby, a loop of Christmas movies projecting onto the wall, and a minibar.Ā
The first people to show up was actually Triptych, which never happens. Usually the super group are the last to show up.Ā
They completely took over the hot chocolate bar set up in one of the practice rooms, knowing that once the trainees arrived, all the food would be consumed.Ā
Shortly after Triptych arrived, Vice came in with their families and significant others.
Zim, Ame, Eli, and Teo spent a lot of time with Juliet Yoo, Cythās only daughter (and lowkey the princess of HBH).
While Juliet was taken care of by his trusted labelmates, Cyth decided to hit up that free minibar with Ji and Kane. Needless to say, the three of them got pretty tipsy before the trainees even showed up.Ā
When the trainees got there, the party had officially started. The young trainees took over the dance floor and helped themselves to one too many vodka crans.
Not to mention, someone jammed the fondue fountain with a marshmallowā¦ conveniently right after the trainees showed up.Ā
Everyone seemed pissed that the trainees were fucking everything up, but Triptych was likeĀ āwell, at least itās not us who are in trouble this time aroundā.Ā
A dance battle broke out between Cal, Asa, Yen, One, Sun, and Kit versus half of the HBHT20 kids to TLCās Sleigh Ride.Ā
It ended when Promiseās Soyeon jumped in the middle to dance, which was how Promise made their grand entrance.
The whole night was filled with fun, catching up, and vodka spritzers.Ā
About half way through Frosty the Snowman, Juliet was passed out in Eliās arms, which everyone thought was really cute.
Ji was so drunk that he was shoving peppermint sticks up his nose for no reason, but all the trainees took videos of him shooting the candy out of his nose with one good huff.
Promise might have showed up last, but they partied hard until the end of the night, holding their heels in their hands the whole time.Ā
Nari and Zim took over the kareoke machine and ended up headbanging to Feliz Navidad together.
By the end of the party, very few people were sober. Even Hak Bonghwa was tipsy.Ā
They all went home singing Christmas carols into the night.
