he gently tugs her closer after a few moments following their pinkies hooking. his opposite hand grabs onto one of her swing chains and holds her close, stopping them both in their tracks. the smile on her face and the response she'd given had been a relief (given everything) and he finds the expression contagious as he mirrors her. he watches her silently for a moment as he stares at her, lost to the moment and blind to how many seconds have passed since she questioned him in return. ❝ unbreakable promise, ❞ he repeats with a subtle nod to his head and he leans in, kissing their locked pinkies before delicately releasing first her hand, then her swing. ❝ i'm as serious now as i was when we were children, ❞ he continues, resting his head against his own swing's chain, staring at her with adoration riddled within his gaze. ❝ we don't have to rush things. i like our pace. but i couldn't carry on without telling you my intentions. ❞ he kicks off once more, gaze finally prying from hers as he tilts his head back and stares up at the twinkling stars. ❝ but … only if you want to. ❞

i know I’ve talked about the possibility of lune being a reflection of someone verso knew irl but watching the cut scene of him discussing wanting to pursue music and the one of lune playing guitar in the beginning has me thinking what if they met at a conservatory or concert hall or smt 😭 bonding over a shared love of creating music
