📖 Writerblr Critique Group 🖋️
Hi, everyone! So I’m sure there are a few of these out there already but I’m hoping to get a small creative writing critique discord going. I’m starting the Writerblr Critique Group because I’d love to have a network of fellow writers to exchange critique with on our work. If casual, low-pressure critique swapping sounds like something you’d be interested in, feel free to fill out the form to be added to the group!
I’ll start a discord once we have somewhere between 5-10 people!
Some quick group rules:
The group is a safe space (meaning no racists, sexists, homophobes, TERFs, etc.)
Try to write as many critiques as you request (i.e. if you’re requesting a critique from the group, either write a critique of someone else’s work first or offer to swap with other writers in the chat!)
You must be 18+ to join as we’re not filtering out work submitted for content that might be inappropriate to underage readers!
Fill out the form to be considered
Please like, reblog and follow after filling out the form! I’ll be posting updates as responses come in :)
Thanks, folks!
Have fun in the war dumbass I’ll be at home fucking military wives
Damn. Good way to get your fucking windows kicked in
shut the fuck up and raise my son bootlicker
All fun and games until someone with 3 confirmed kills shows up at your doorstep with a baseball bat
im not at my house tho, im at yours with your wife
But he’s got shooters all over the world 🌎 even when he’s away
just shot a load in his wife
You ungrateful asshole. My bf might be fighting for your freedom and you’re here mocking him for keeping your pathetic ass safe from the threats of the world. If a war comes to our country, we’re not saving you, you dumbass ungrateful fuck up of a human being.
Your bf is fighting for oil and killing civilians and probably cheating on you he’s a scumbag, which is why I just fucked his mom to make a better son

Playful Seniors Wear Organic Materials to Personify Nature
“Eyes as Big as Plates” is a whimsical series by Finnish photographer Riitta Ikonen and Norwegian photographer Karoline Hjorth that features senior citizens donning organic materials like twigs and grass. Ikonen says that the collaborative project originally began as “a play on characters and protagonists from Norwegian folklore” but has since evolved into a collection of images exploring “mental landscapes” that reflect a return of body to nature with the use of scavenged materials.
Eyes as Big as Plates is running a Kickstarter campaign to help fund a book featuring seniors from all around the world.
Writers who can draw their OCs are powerful.
By Czeck writer Karel Čapek, inventor of the term ‘robot’ as well!
This is one of my husband’s favorite short stories. He quotes it from memory. I’m pretty sure he can recite the entire thing from memory.
This is a tremendously impactful short story and every time I see it, it serves as an excellent reboot button for my state of mind.
