Making it Right
If there’s anything you remember today let it be that there is a game on PS4
titled: “Summertime High School: A Young Man’s Notes—How a New Exchange Student Like Myself Ran Into His Childhood Friend on the School Tour, Then for Some Reason Became Super-Popular with the Girls for His Daily Scoops on the School Photography Club Even Though He Only Takes Panty Shots, and What He Thinks as He Goes on Dates During His Summer of Island School Life.”
Please aknowledge this game is based on fucking SKYRIM
HE CAN’T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS
Hey you’re finally awake? Trying to take upskirt panty shots right? Walked right into that fbi ambush like me and that pervert over there!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the year 2019 can we please stop acting like Chaotic Neutral is the only “cool” character alignment?
There is no such thing as a “boring” character alignment, only an alignment you haven’t utilized creatively.
please watch this
wow, this might be the only realistic portrayal of metalheads I’ve seen in media
Im in a big goth mood (between vamp cookie goth and hazamada goth) and I cannot wait for the blood moon to come. The end is nigh, bois.
so someone just said they’re “really interested in history” how careful do you have to be?
“i just think history is interesting in general! i’m not interested in any specific part of it”: this person is most likely safe. never drop your guard though
“i’m interested in this specific subject or time period in history. (ex. ancient egypt, the golden age of piracy, the history of the printing press”: still probably safe. be on the lookout for certain risky historical subjects. you should know them you see them
“i’m really into WW2 history”: this is the caution zone, there’s plenty of valid reasons to be into WW2, but if they start talking about how Operation Sealion totally could have succeeded, it’s time to abort
“i’m specifically into roman history, the crusades, prussian military history, and WW2”: danger! do NOT talk about history with this person. in fact, do not talk to this person at all. you will regret it, you do not want to know what they think of the treaty of versailles or why germany lost the first world war
I know what this is trying to be…
but how astutely horrible is it that your goal here was to encourage people to hate people based on their interests when there are literally so many other tells that are more accurate than “into prussian history”
Omg Shane thank you, I hate this post and I hate this mindset that seems to be so prevalent on Tumblr. I understand that neo-Nazis tend to have particular historical interests but then, some neo-Nazis love the 18th century! Some love the late 17th century! Does that mean that I, by association, must be a Nazi? I think not. There are some terrible people who revel in social history, such as the history of the printing press. I see them everyday, as a history blogger, on Tumblr Dot Com. I see them every day in academia.
As cheesy as it sounds, people’s words and actions tell us what kind of person they are; some people do have harmful, unsavoury interests but I wouldn’t call ‘being interested in Prussian military history’ something innately harmful. I’m a social historian and early modernist with no interest in military history, but I know it’s like, legitimate and important and not every military historian is a piece of garbage. Moreover, when on earth did we suddenly come to lack the braincells to realise that people being into history isn’t ACTUALLY a red flag? ‘Never drop your guard’ wtf we’re basically handing neo Nazis the deed to our own stories and letting them have monopoly over the past with this mindset. God, this website has ruined the way people interact with history. I hate it.
Also, I wish I could be so dismissive of the importance of the history of WW2 lmao but alas, I don’t have that luxury, as a half-Rromani person and as a half-Rromani historian. I have ancestors who were wiped off the face of the earth during the Porajmos but like, I guess all WW2 historians are, at best, pointless, and at worst, probably Nazis.
There are so many fujoshis/fudanshis on this site, holy fuck. Even if its not anime pretty boys, its still not cool.
writer: this is one of my male characters! he cares about his guy friends and loves them deeply.
tumblr: oh! so he’s gay!
writer: uh…no, he’s attracted to women.
tumblr: ….so he’s bi!
writer: uhh…no…….he loves his guy friends but he’s not romantically/sexually attracted to them.
tumblr: ….so you’re homophobic.
writer:
Healthy male friendships are almost as rare in mainstream fiction as gay male relationships, and maybe more rare in fanfiction. Let men be wonderful friends without pushing a romantic relationship, just like men and women should be able to be wonderful friends without the pressure of a romantic relationship.
*AGGRESSIVELY SLAMS REBLOG UNTIL I DIE*
This is literally the reason men are so terrified of being open about loving each other platonically, because they don’t want people to assume they’re gay just because they can be supportive of their fucking friends

Hi, I’m WarriorMale.
Thank you for inviting me to this discussion.
I’m a part of the Martial Culture, the culture of the fight gyms.
Guys train in fight sports at these gyms.
I train in muay thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and boxing.
When Men train and fight, they bond. This bonding is driven by the training that these Men do, with constant body contact.
Fighting produces and nurtures Manliness, which is the ability and willingness to fight.
Manliness includes fight skills, a trained and conditioned body and most importantly the Moral Virtues of Humility, Integrity, Selflessness, Self Control and always showing Respect.
We fighters love and cherish our Manliness.
We feel very comfortable being in close contact with other fighters and we really don’t care if the fighters are attracted to Women, Men or even both.
All we care about is their ability and willingness to fight.
So, if I were you, I’d visit a few fight gyms and take some free classes. Talk with the trainers and the fighters. See what the Martial Culture and Manliness are all about.
Train and fight!
Always seek Manliness!
