Model Horse Giveaway #3! Double Feature!
We're giving away another model! Actually, TWO models! The following are the terms and conditions of the giveaway as required by Tumblr (please read everything):
This giveaway is for two model horses. The first is this exact horse:
This is Duchess, a Grand Champions model on the "Gaited Mare" mold. It was made by Empire Toys in 2000. It is roughly Breyer Classics scale.
The model has some scuffs/scratches from play, some strangely melted looking spots, and some sticky stuff from a sticker on her right side (I have tried to remove it a couple times, but didn't want to get into stronger solvents or heat). Her mane and tail are detachable. She will come with a small amount of tack (which she had when I thrifted her), pictured below:
She was originally part of the 2-in-1 series, but I do not have her alternate pieces
I have washed her and conditioned her hair to brush it out, but have done no other restoration
This model is worth about 15 USD or less (based on my ebay searches and her incomplete status).
The second model being given away is this exact model:
This is Concord, a Paddock Pals model on the Andalusian mold
Released by Breyer in 2024, this model is in like new condition
She is grape scented. It's not an especially strong scent, however. Though the shipping box may be grape scented when she arrives, it's unlikely she'll scent the other model, as she has not scented any of mine that she's been stored with. I don't know if there's a way to remove the scent.
This model is worth roughly $5 USD
ANYONE with a tumblr account is eligible for this giveaway (two exceptions, listed below). You do NOT have to be following talkingaboutmodelhorses or any of my other blogs. You do NOT have to like or reblog this post, though I would appreciate reblogs to get the word out.
You MUST be 18 or older to enter
You MUST be in the US to enter (sorry about this one, but international shipping is unfortunately too much)
Entry will be through asks or private messages. Simply let me know that you'd like to be in the giveaway, and you're in.
Anonymous entries will not be accepted
All entries will be assigned a number based on when they entered (first person is number 1, second is number 2, so on)
Entrants' names/usernames will not be published, regardless of method of entry (ie, asks), and I will not be keeping the list after the giveaway
Entries will be accepted from 5/25 to midnight on 6/8 (EST)
At the end of the giveaway, a random number generator will be used to determine the winner
(The odds of your winning will depend on how many entrants there are)
You must have asks or pms open to receive your winning message!
The winner then has to send me their address (wherever you want it sent)
The models will then be shipped as soon as possible from me to you. Once you have them, you can do whatever you want with them- they're yours!
