「✎」Levi scoffed slightly. “I’m hardly ever wrong.” He glanced towards the man who had kindly made him tea. The shop itself was very nicely put together and comfortable, something that Levi’s sore ribs was very thankful for. He took the small cup of Jasmine tea between his fingers, allowing the steam to touch his palm. It was a relaxing sensation, if not slightly painful from the heat.

"It’s been a while since I reminded someone of someone. Although I can’t say that those reasons are the best to likened to." Sighing, he took a sip of the still hot tea. While it was slightly too hot and his tongue complained, he was pleasantly surprised when the tea had been of good standards. He glanced down at the liquid in the cup in amazement before slipping back into the cold stare he usually wore. "You’re right. We have only just met, and you don’t know me at all."

Levi smirked. “I’m actually a teacher. If that’s what you’re asking? My parents moved to Brieve from southern France months before I was born and I’ve never left. There isn’t really much to it.” He looked out of the window once more. “Unless you meant the injuries, and then it’s none of your business.”

"So you teach? What do you teach? and I don't mean to pry, your business is yours. I am only curious. sometimes it can be a help to talk to a stranger." Iroh was quite put back by this man's attitude, he seemed distant and stubborn. "I hate seeing people in bad shape, such as yourself, please feel free to stay and enjoy some tea on the house until you feel better. If you don't want to stay long I understand" Iroh wanted to help this beaten up person in anyway he could, but knew he would be stubborn and wasnt the sort to accept help.  "You can call me Iroh, Or the Tea Master If you want aha" Iroh's attempt at making him laugh seemed like a long shot, but he hoped he would at least find it amusing. Another customer came in the shop so Iroh went to sort them out before returning back and sitting beside the man again. He sipped his tea and wore a huge grin.

          | ☯ | —⇥ Lenalee couldn’t help but offer a small smile at his kind words. This man was just too pleasant to be around, and she only felt honored to get to share a cup with him. She could feel all of her concerns and fears almost fading away with every sip and every word he spoke. She couldn’t help but feel completely at ease. From the recent stresses and lack of seeing her brother, it was a wonderful relief.

With gentle hand, the cup was lifted once more to the girl’s lips. When he suddenly spoke again, however, she let out a cough. Did she hear him right? Did he honestly just offer a job to a strange lady that had just waltzed in like she had? Taking a moment to make sure she finished swallowing her tea, the girl’s purple orbs gazed up at him.

"A job…? Really? I mean, I would absolutely love to work in a place like this, along side someone like yourself." She started, fidgeting a little with the tea. "I do only know a little about tea making, I’m not a professional or anything like that. But, if you’d be willing to teach me and allow me, I would absolutely love to try."

"I'm Flattered" Iroh was pleased that the girl seemed more relaxed and less tense. It always made him happy to see people feel better about themselves, and he was so pleased with her reaction. "And yes, the job is yours if you want it, and it's no problem that your not professional, if anything it's better, I will teach you the ways of tea making. In no time you will be making tea as great as any you've ever tasted. And maybe one day you'll be better than me." Iroh chuckled, aware that he was getting a bit carried away. He watched her for a bit, she was fidgeting with her tea and he wanted to see what she would say next. but he couldn't help himself, he broke the silence with a sudden booming voice "So, When can you start?!"

           | ☯ | —⇥ The girl gave a gentle smile. This older man was far too kind, making her all too eager to join him. She hoped when she got older, she could be half as kind and carefree as this man was. Gently, Lenalee took a sip of the tea, her face lighting up. "Your tea is wonderful. I wish I could make tea this good for my brother. He would love this tea." She commented, planning to bring her brother here next time he was home.

As he spoke once more, Lenalee’s purple eyes gazed up at him once more. She remained silent, eyes dropping once more to her cup. Was she obvious at showing her emotions? Well, people did tell her she was an open book. The Chinese girl gripped her cup tightly, her smile softened eyes lowering. "Just… Money troubles is all. I attend school full time and am only allowed to work part time. I rarely get to see my brother since being sent here too… It just makes living tough." Her eyes closed as she tried to give him a brighter smile.

"But I don’t wish to ruin our time together with my troubles. I wish to get to know you and enjoy your tea."

Iroh smiled at the girl, he really did enjoy company and someone to talk to. "Your troubles would never ruin our time together. Talking about one's troubles is a great way to overcome them. There is no shame in poverty, we all have what we have been given, its not what we have but what we do with what we have that defines us as a person."

Iroh poured himself another cup of tea. "I can tell your love for your brother is great,and by supporting him and loving him you will always be with him in spirit." This reminded Iroh of his son, he let out a pensive sigh. "I can tell your love of tea is also great, want a job?" Iroh quickly sipped his cup of tea with a huge grin on his face.

「✎」Had he been a good enough condition, Levi would have most likely walked away at the offer of tea. He knew better than to accept tea from strangers, but the way that his ribs were complaining at him he knew he needed to sit down and rest for a short while. Sighing he took a step closer towards the tea shop.

"I talk to everyone one the same way. I don’t make exceptions for for old men. Everyone gets treated like the irritating brat they are." Levi scoffed and hobbled towards the man. "I’m not going to deny the offer of tea though. It better be up to a good standard."

He pushed his way into the shop and took up one of the comfier seats at the front of the shop, looking out the window towards the high street.

"Good standard?! My friend, I only make the very best tea for my customers, and myself may I add." Iroh chuckled to himself, pouring the tea to give to the stranger. "And you may be right about old"

Iron looked at this guy, as he hobbled over to the comfier seats near the front window. "You know, you remind me of someone I used to know. he was always stubborn and angry at the world, it lead him to some bad decisions and places in his life." Iroh waved his hands in front of him almost like he was dismissing what he just said " Not like I'm saying your your in a bad place in your life, who am i to know, I've just met you" Iron took a sip of his tea, it was refreshing and perfectly brewed. 

"But once he accepted the help of his friends and from the people around him his life got better and he found the right path." Iroh hoped he could raise the spirits of this man who was staring out the window, he pushed the cup of tea closer to the man "What's your story then, as I doubt it's the same as his" Iroh had a big grin on his face, he loved hearing people stories over a cup of Jasmine tea. He checked back to check the rest of the shop before looking back round at the beaten up man sitting opposite him.

「✎」He had been having trouble lately getting around Brieve and it irritated Levi to no end. He had places to be and had things to do, but the damned crutch he was forced to use while his body healed was more of a hindrance than any actual help. Levi sighed as he struggled to walk down Appietto Walk.

While he did have a car to get to and from work, it wasn’t any help when he had to get items from the shops in Brieve. Struggling with weight of a bag and his crutch he took a moment to rest. That was when he noticed the elderly man standing in the doorway of what seemed to be a tea shop.  "What do you want?" He snarled. Levi just wan’t in the mood to deal with people.

Having been a quiet day in the tea shop, Iroh decided to brew himself some tea, when he noticed a crutched person hobbling past the shop stop to rest. Iroh walked to the entrance and stood next to the man, when he snarled at him.

"Is that the way you talk to an old man? Why don't you come in for a nice cup of jasmine tea. I promise you won't regret it"

Iroh had a huge grin on his face, as he awaited a response from the not too pleased stranger.

           | ☯ | —⇥ The athlete paused, looking over as she noticed the man coming over to her. Oh no, he was going to think she was a paying customer. Maybe in the future she would be able to be a customer, but today was not that day. However, as he spoke and congratulated her, she couldn’t help but feel like she couldn’t say no. She opened her mouth to try and argue that she didn’t have the money, yet before she could, he had disappeared into the kitchen.

"Aah— Oh…" Lenalee lowered her hand, lips pursing. She did have the faintest thought of leaving before he came back, but it just seemed too cruel for her and before she knew it, the girl was heading over to the open seat near him.

"I’m honored to share your first cup of tea." She told him, bowing her head to him. "Thank you for sharing this with me."

"It's my pleasure. Really. I've said this to many people but sharing a cup of tea with a stranger is one of the greater things in life" Iroh chuckled to himself  "and I'm not about to stop just because I have a shop now, am I?" Iroh poured himself a cup of tea. 

Iroh noticed the girl being nervous, why would she be nervous for? He wondered this as she bowed her head. He wasn't sure weather to ask but curiosity got the better of him. "This tea helps the nerves and calms the mind, but it doesnt seem to be working for you.  maybe i have made it wrong?" Iroh took a small sip of his tea. Nope, nothing wrong with it. He still had no idea why the girl should be nervous. "Nope the tea is fine, It must be you, young lady, tell me what troubles you?" Iroh took another sip of his tea.

             | ☯ | —⇥ The day was going as any other. Her school was still on break, leaving her with only her part time job. However, when the front desk found themselves overstaffed for the day, they were left with the choice of sending someone home. With the choice between the full timer and the part timer, it was pretty obvious which one was getting sent home. Usually she didn’t mind too much, it would give her time to enjoy the day and head over to the track to practice. However, rent was coming up and she was getting tight on money.

With her uniform tucked into the small, black bag, Lenalee made her way down the street. She knew she would be able to easily find something to preoccupy herself with, but that wasn’t going to help her money situation any bit.

Shortly after making it onto the main street, a fire show quickly caught her attention. The chinese girl quickly rushed over to the crowd, squeezing her way through to the front. She was only able to catch a little of it before it ended, but it was enough to completely catch her interest. She was entranced by the show, almost feeling a little upset with it’s ending. However, when he spoke, her excitement returned. A tea shop in Brieve? That was one thing she missed a lot, memories of heading into local tea shops with her brother filled her mind. As soon as he was inside, her feet led her after.

The smells of tea immediately filled her nose, bringing a soft smile to her face. However, with the scent brought about a sudden realization, she didn’t have the money to spend there. Childhood memories, and perhaps the only place to get homestyle tea, was beyond her reach for today. Why did she have to step into the shop and get that feeling going? She was definitely going to have to head home and make herself some tea as soon as she left here. Though there was one thing she wasn’t going to be able to recreate at all. 

           ”What a beautiful atmosphere… I need to come back when I have money…”

As he sipped his tea Iroh noticed a young girl enter, as she entered she smiled which caught his attention "aah, I guess you caught my performance then" Iroh stood up quickly to greet the girl, he could tell instantly before she even spoke how she felt by her expression. At hearing her comment Iroh couldn't help himself, he must share a cup of tea with his first customer, whether they could or couldnt pay.

thinking on the spot "Congratulations, your my first customer, please come in. I have a pot of tea already brewing. take a seat ill go get it."

Iroh hastily walked to the kitchen where a pot of tea was brewing over a small flame. He placed it on a tray with two of his finest cups and went over to a table near the entrance.

"please I insist" Iroh gestured the girl to sit down next to him.

"Is anyone free for taste testing some brownies??"

"it would be my pleasure to try one of your delicious looking brownies, care for some Jasmine tea?"

Iroh had been waiting for this day for a long, long time. He was filled with excitement like a small child, running around and making sure the tables were set. He didn't expect to have many people to start with, but as he was setting up, he noticed curious by passers looking in.

Grabbing his fire-breathing equipment he walked to the shop doors and turned the sign around to declare it open. He immediately walked outside, found an open space, and set up a perimeter.

He took out his sticks and oil and with an earth shattering shout, he proceeds into his firebreathing routine. He had been preparing this routine for months as a way to get peoples attention for the opening. Creating a show with a mix of expert fire-breathing and  shaolin kung fu techniques he impressed the audience. People would usually have to pay a hefty price for a show of this calibre, but Iroh enjoyed doing this and it would get people into his tea shop so he didn't mind doing it for free. He finished on an amazing fireball that the audience could have sworn resembled a dragon. Bowing to the crowd he packed his equipment up.

"The Jasmine Dragon is now open for business. Feel free to come in a relax with a nice cup of your favourite tea. Business will be slow to start with as I'm working on my own, however I am looking for a new assistant to help me out. If you are interested please do not hesitate to approach me." Iroh announced this as he slowly walked back into his tea shop, while the crows applaud him and cheered.

Iroh sat at the counter next to a pot of tea, brewing, as he waited for either customer or assistant.
