Tina: Tina didn't think she was necessarily changing in her new relationship; more or less that Sam was bringing out the other sides of her, some buried deep down, behind the tough act she put on to the rest of the world. It had always been a defense mechanism, or a shield, but she didn't need that anymore-- she had Sam. He would keep her safe and happy and she knew he would protect her. That didn't mean she was going to turn into this big old softie for everyone else, but for him, she was instantly a puddle of mush. Never in her life had she smiled as much as lately; another gentle grin pulled at her lips as Sam returned the sentiment, and granted her with another kiss. "So you made /me/ cave first," she chuckled against his mouth softly, the depth of the kiss strengthening and Sam's small growl gave her a tiny jolt that had her clinging to him just as closely. There was something insanely hot about those primal noises he always made, when for years she'd thought he was so shy. Tina meant it when she declared Sam the best boyfriend ever; the guy put up with her - that in itself deserved a gold medal. As they shared bites though of the first slice, she made a comment about being a better girlfriend, to which Sam quickly assured she didn't need to try and be better at, or anything else, even. "I know I just... this is new to me too. I just don't want to mess anything up," Tee added tentatively, but when he explained that he'd be happy as long as she'd have him, Tina wanted to make sure he knew that she had no intentions of letting him go. "Well then you might be stuck with me forever... if my plans go accordingly. I hope you're prepared for that, Samuel," she mused playfully, before further pledging her affection for him. Sharing in more of their meal had both Sam and Tina giggling or growing even closer, her small frame situated as flush to his as they could muster in his lap now. They were definitely still in that new phase of a relationship, but Tina hoped maybe it would just be a constant now that they were together, no fears standing in the way. "Trust me, you have me all night long. All weekend, actually... since we have the place to ourselves." Her cheeks lit up a deep shade of rose as Sam's finger trailed along her cheek and jaw, Tina's eyes fluttering at the soft touch in the process. She just really, /really/ needed him to know that no matter how much she had worried about her reputation in the past, it wasn't something she ever wanted to take away from what they had. When dubbing herself a sap for him, she'd meant it shamelessly. Sam seemed happy with her declarations, and he too promised that he was proud to be with her as well; that this had been a life long dream come true, and her heart skipped happily at those sweet words. She had never thought of herself as the girl anyone really wanted in that way-- but knowing that the best of them all did had Tina thrilled, her confidence at an all-time high now. "Trust me, if you're nuts, then I'm crazy... about you," she chimed in with a light laugh, her arms winding tighter about his neck as their foreheads met tenderly. "I want everyone to know it too," Tina mumbled softly, brown eyes locked on his green. "I'll be yours as long as you'll have me too, and the world should know it. Just be aware that if any girls make a move on you, I can't promise I won't kick their ass." Smirking, Tina closed the gap between them once more, her teeth giving Sam's lip the tiniest nibble before she drew back a little. "You were right; definitely best Valentine's Day ever. And we're just getting started."
Sam: Tina's smile could light up a room, and she just seemed to be doing it so much more often ever since they got together. The first night they'd slept together, there was no greater sight than looking over next to him, curled up in bed with just a bare shoulder exposed over the covers and her beautiful smile looking back at him. "Yes I did... and what are you gonna do about it?" He snickered as she rested against him, both enjoying the moment very much between them, her mouth on his time after time with kisses. Sharing a couple of bites of food with her had them speaking about being better, which Sam didn't feel was even necessary. She had obvious insecurities about being a good girlfriend, yet Sam couldn't imagine her as anything but the best. "You won't mess anything up, Tee. We're in this together, neither you or I have ever been in this position before so we're learning together." Her thought brought a very wide grin to his face, her talk of forever sounded more than fine to him. "Forever is what I'm aiming for, Tina. I hope your plans are foolproof." A little more pizza shared between them as she nestled in comfortably on his lap, the wheelchair certainly accommodating the closeness they both craved. This part of the relationship, when they practically couldn't keep their hands off of one another, wasn't looking to be ending anytime soon, especially not with an empty house like she had tonight... or most nights. She confirmed that he had her all night long now, and brushing away strands of hair from her face as he traced the curve of her cheek, a tender moment as she let him lean in, forehead pressing against hers softly. "Then we're both more than a little bit crazy, aren't we? I want the world to know, and everybody else to be jealous that we're together." Sam laughed gently as she threatened any girl who tried to take him away from her from this point on, knowing full well that Tina truly did mean it. "Let them try, they're no match for you anyways. And I'm not about to trade in the best thing that's ever happened to me for anything or anyone else." Tina began to kiss him, and he felt the pinch of a tiny nip to his upper lip as she smiled mischievously. "Believe me, I know. I'm not going to be forgetting this one anytime soon. And don't think that I don't have a few tricks up my sleeve for tonight too, babe. Happy Valentine's Day."
