Newly Released Police Body Cam Footage Shows Moments Before Rayshard Brooks Was Murdered by Police

For those who don’t know, Rayshard Brooks, 27 yr old father of, was shot and killed by an Atlanta police officer at a Wendy’s parking lot in Atlanta Friday night.

In the video, Mr. Brooks is seen calmly and politely speaking with Officers after falling asleep at a Wendys parking lot because he said he was “Too intoxicated to drive.” The officers could have done the right thing and stayed with him until someone picked him up, allowed him to walk to his home (which he offered to do) or even offered him a ride home, but instead they decided to escalate the situation and kill him.

I'll never understand why people stop reading books. I've never been a day without having a book on my night table since I was a kid. Only yesterday I spent 2 hours and a half reading and it gives me such a peace of mind that I only stopped because I had to go and have dinner.

Honestly still makes my heart ache how happy Tony was 😭

They made us feel sad about his happy moments, when we should be feeling joy.

During all these years, Tony was my happiness, I used to watch him so often.

And now it’s been over a year since I haven’t watched an Iron Man movie and I can’t even look at Tony’s picture anymore, it hurts too much.

These movies are supposed to give us hope and joy, not totally destroy us.

After all this time, all this suffering, when Tony could have been happy at last, when he finally had a family and a reason to live he has to die and lose everything…?

That ending is so horrible, I just still can’t believe it’s true..
