And she created something... out of nothing... because, she felt like it ;) A short film about what it means to be an artist, what we make, for who, and why.

Thank you, so so so much, to everyone who believed in me (like my mentors Foreign Fauna) who supported me picking this film up and putting it down many times over the years, through two breakups, chronic illness, etc.

When I first wrote the poem for this film, I was 19, and generative ai was not on my radar. I had no idea how this film would ring more and more true... that now, that for the sake of "creation" we could turn this world into nothing but Davids and dust, lol. Destroy the first piece of art for the sake of "art". I am not religious, but I wondered how if I was a god, would I not be so in love with people? To have humanity make incredible fanart of your world, over and over again... even if people get carried away.

A zine, about POTS, made when I was diagnosed in 2021. I sat on it for years, because I know it's true: people can be weird about it. But, I've lived with it a while now, and I care less about what others think, and I care a lot more to let more people know who might be feeling like me in their body about it. Cause I would've really liked to know sooner.

my act of queer joy this week was drawing my incredible nonbinary hairstylist as a winx club fairy as a surprise- they touched up my hair for free last week 🥲😘 They make me feel so proud to be nb, to be honest, and gave me my first gender-affirming haircut. And believe it or not they actually do look this cool irl 😩
