Legs is out walking, when Gadget makes a whining noise and running off. The dragon hatchling gets to you first, with its owner not far behind.
"Gadget! You can't just— Run up to strangers!"
He laughs, nervous, sleeves now rolled up enough to expose what look like chemical burns around his elbows.

*Osprey looks up, surprised.*
Oh… Hello, there… That’s a first, hm? Dragons don’t often find themselves so curios…
*He looks at Legs as he runs over.* Is this one yours? He sure is an energetic one. …Are your arms okay? Those aren’t recent, I hope?
"I-I swear he isn't normally like this... I thought I had him better trained!
"...Ah, uhm... Yeah, no, they're... They're a bit older. I'm an alchemist, so... Experiment gone a bit haywire. I-It doesn't hurt! I'm just... Blue."
He chokes down anything else that could lead to memories.
"I-I'm Legundo, but everybody calls me Legs... I-I'm an iron mage..."
*He smiles sympathetically.* Hatchet’s the same, very well behaved around me, but once she’s out of sight, she’d rather cuddle up to anyone and everyone than do what I sent her to.
*The student extends a hand to shake.* Osprey. Last name Swift. Call me whatever, though.
…Corruption mage, sort of, if this didn’t make it obvious. *Osprey points at the effects of poison rot on his face with a sheepish grin.*
"Hahaha! These dragons are certainly something... Osprey! That's a nice name."
He pauses when he hears the word corruption.
"Interesting... My magic, uh... Isn't supposed to exist, so... In a way, I get it."
Really? Can I ask what you mean? You don’t have to tell me, of course.
And thank you! My mother gave it to me. *He jokes, smiling.*
Legs chuckles at the small joke.
"I've... Found a lot of books. It was along the lines of... 'Iron in a soul could end the world'. 'Iron drinks mana'. I have a spell that creates, uhm... An anti-magic field... So... Iron isn't supposed to be mana. It's all a little... Much. And having iron as my magic is... It's confusing. It's so scary. But, y'know... I'm learning."
*Theres a knock on Legs dorm door, Mage outside and a very happy Wattson beside them*

There's a muffled "coming!" and the clattering of books and... Something expensive, before Legs opens the door.
"Mage! Hey! C-Come in, please."
*He smiles and walks in* "I've got a question"
"What is it?"
He asks, picking up some of the dropped clutter.
"When wr first met you mentioned making a wheelchair to which I said no because it's impratical with how much I wander. What about a leg brace instead?" *Mage moves to pick up Wattson*
"Ooh!! I'm sure I could come up with something!! Do you have your measurements, or is that something we'd need to get as well?"

You notice a girl wandering around the library. She looks nervous, and is fidgeting with her hands. She looks... Young. Like maybe around 15? Why would she be here...?
She does not spot you, she just continues to walk around the library. Her head is on a swivel, and she's looking at every corner of the room. You notice her look down a hall nearby, as if she's looking for something.

"oh- uh- hi!!" She waves slightly, after jumping from not expecting anyone to be there.
"I can't seem to find the exit... Or even my own dorm!! Agh. I can't keep track of directions at all."
She pauses for a moment, "I'm Elodie. House Tigris. Who are you?" She asks
"I-I'm Legundo, bbut everyone calls me Legs... I-I'm in Feles! D-Do you, uhm... Do you... Want help?"
"oh, nice to meet you! Also yes, please. Uh. I am reaaally bad with directions"
She chuckles sheepishly
"I was trying to find the exit so I could just go on the simple walk, maybe learn some things but... Can't find the exit ANYWHERE."
"This place is a maze! It definitely gets easier, but it took me a couple weeks... Bbut I have... Friends... W-With better direction than me..."
He chuckles, nervous.
"H-How are you liking the academy?"
"yeah... I'm not sure I'll ever get sued to these hallways haha... Even with years I could never remember where anything was in my hometown."
She pauses
"I'm liking it a fair bit! It's nice here. I have a nice dorm, and a bed. There's lots of food. There's nice people to talk to everywhere!! And I have this little one"
She reaches back to pet the little dragon in her backpack.
"Awhhh, my Gods, I didn't even see them! What's their name?"
Legs giggles, happy for the distraction as he walks her to the main entrance.
"this is Ebony!" She smiles
"what's your dragon's name?"
"This is Gadget! He's a big ole sweetheart. H-He's started alerting to my fainting... Which, y'know... Helpful! Oh! Wait, hhere!"
He hands Elodie a feather.
"Give this to Ebony, it is the cutest thing ever!! I was smiling so hard when I saw this for the first time."
"awwww hi Gadget!!"
"oh!" Elodie grabs the feather "give it to her-? Ok!"
Elodie places Ebony on the floor and gives her the feather.
Ebony then starts to hover
"AWWWW OH MY VOIDSSS HOW CUTEEE"
