Season 3, Episode 15 | “Isn’t she stunning?”
Jon crowning Sansa the Queen of Love & Beauty ~
Commissioned by the lovely @littl3bird (@j0nsansa on twitter)! From concept to final touches, I had such a wonderful time working on this piece!
"I loved a maid as red as autumn,
with sunset in her hair,"
I always think about Sansa when I come across this verse 🥺
i love this comment
bringing back this classic
day 15 - love
"Bronze Yohn knows me," she reminded him. "He was a guest at Winterfell when his son rode north to take the black." She had fallen wildly in love with Ser Waymar, she remembered dimly, but that was a lifetime ago, when she was a stupid little girl.

I can't believe this is real...
I can't believe this is happening...
I can't believe GRRM authorized this...
I don't think most people realize just how much Sansa put herself on the line by pleading for Ned and George RR Martin is quick to remind us that the situation could have gone very very wrong for Sansa:
A woman fell to her knees to plead for the head of a man executed as a traitor. She had loved him, she said, and she wanted to see him decently buried. “If you loved a traitor, you must be a traitor too,” Joffrey said. Two gold cloaks dragged her off to the dungeons. (A Game of Thrones - Sansa VI).
Sansa really put herself at risk by pleading for Ned. As far as I am concerned this act completely erases the mistake she made by going to Cersei. So the next time you guys think of how she "betrayed Ned' think of how Sansa went above and beyond to protect him too.
i absolutely fuckin hate it here
“I love him, Father, I truly truly do, I love him as much as Queen Naerys loved Prince Aemon the Dragonknight, as much as Jonquil loved Ser Florian. I want to be his queen and have his babies.” “Sweet one,” her father said gently, “listen to me. When you’re old enough, I will make you a match with a high lord who’s worthy of you, someone brave and gentle and strong. This match with Joffrey was a terrible mistake. That boy is no Prince Aemon, you must believe me.”
— Sansa III, AGOT
for @albarossa26, based on this post.
Sansa would be a huge fanfic writer and reader- Florian and Jonquil coffee shop AU. Aemon and Naerys fix-it fic where they escape Aegon the Unworthy and go live in Pentos. Ser Erryk and Ser Arryk high school AU. She'd write it all.
Jon x Sansa & TV Tropes
Once, when she was just a little girl, a wandering singer had stayed with them at Winterfell for half a year. An old man he was, with white hair and windburnt cheeks, but he sang of knights and quests and ladies fair, and Sansa had cried bitter tears when he left them, and begged her father not to let him go. "The man has played us every song he knows thrice over," Lord Eddard told her gently. "I cannot keep him here against his will. You need not weep, though. I promise you, other singers will come." They hadn't, though, not for a year or more. Sansa had prayed to the Seven in their sept and old gods of the heart tree, asking them to bring the old man back, or better still to send another singer, young and handsome. But the gods never answered, and the halls of Winterfell stayed silent. But that was when she was a little girl, and foolish. She was a maiden now, three-and-ten and flowered. All her nights were full of song, and by day she prayed for silence. — Sansa I, AFFC
