This triptych was my husband’s request. We read this book to each other recently, and this was the bit that brought him to tears (and inspired him to buy a mess of copies for the high school he teaches at. This book is now part of the English curriculum). His idea for the art: two flashbacks culminating in the moment Ari finally gives in to his feelings for Dante. I couldn’t resist.
