I’m the Alpha now.

Derek Hale + smiling
Allison looked up from the ground, gazing in the guy’s eyes as she felt her lower lip slightly shivering. “W-what’s impossible?” She stroked some wet strings of hair out of her face, still facing the man rather confused.
Remaining motionless, Derek had to inhale and exhale a few times to himself. Just to be sure that it wasn't some freak way that his Beta, the lone female of his Pack, came back resurrected from the dead. It took a lot of convincing on Derek's part to be sure that it wasn't her, feeling many emotions flooding his system and felt awful knowing that the woman standing on the other side of the door held no idea to why he was in a state of shock. Shaking his head a few times, he spoke faintly and as calm as he could. "I'm fine, don't worry about me... Come. You look like you're going to get sick," he frowned, ushering the girl in as promptly as he could before he shut the door behind them.
"Trespassing, funny. Am I not allowed to pay a visit to our favourite resident wolf?" Honestly, Derek Hale wasn’t at the top of her list of favourite people nor was he someone she’d visit unless she had to, but she was here now and she wasn’t about to let him kick her out like a stray dog. "I’ve always got something better to do but right now, for reasons unknown, that includes you."
"Since when do you feel the need to visit?" Derek retorted softly, rolling his eyes at the title that she laid out for him. To be honest, Lydia Martin going about and walking through his loft as if she owned the place was getting on his nerves. "You don't call, you don't write... so what is your point? You could be watching The Notebook instead of... coming here." Valid point, more or less, because it was bothering the Beta greatly that she wasn't making a move - to get out would've been Derek's choice.
Derek&Teagan//Hale of a thing.
"I would if I could but its not that easy. I tried to find ways out of this but I can’t so I’m here. The more time I spend away from you the more the bond needs for awhile I was able to handle it but now I can’t." she told him. She didn’t mind the fact that he wasn’t happy to see here, a art of her would be worried if he was happy to see someone that really didn’t have an impact on his life other then the one thing. Granted it was a pretty big thing.
"I don’t know. Me leaving won’t happen anytime soon because we have a lot to figure out."
"Great." Derek tried to not make what he said as unsympathetic; it was more disconcerting and almost in a state of defeat. The girl seemed to give a valid point - bond or not, it was something that would affect you greatly despite how strong it is. Even the weakest of bonds between wolves can still cast a grand effect depending the situation. It seemed that the bond that he shared with this particular girl was... fleeting, almost broken, but it may hold eventually potential to strengthen down the road. With the loss of what he could even call a Pack, Derek could only come to terms with the sense of loneliness that he felt every day. Maybe... Perhaps it could be that time to let someone in again, that feeling of acceptance could help bring Derek back to terms once again.
Sighing quietly to himself, Derek returned, "Then if you're going to stay, you do need to realize that the feeling of resentment is going to lower you more than the feeling of anger to help strengthen... this bond that we have between us."
Derek & Everan
Yes, Everan was different; he certainly looked human … but he didn’t smell human. Perhaps more … bird? But why a bird in the body of a boy? A young one at that? Something about the gravitas of that icy, piercing stare spoke more than mere years—as though time had no meaning for what the hawk could see. And according to lore, when one happened to capture a hawk’s attention, it was usually interpreted as a sign to take heed of the world around him, to pick up on the subtle clues that may otherwise be written off as mere coincidence.
But could he understand this wolf? That was a tricky question, wasn’t it? Words might not have been his strong suit, but he understood emotion and feeling behind the voice.
One blink. Two blinks.
No, this man was not a threat.
Everan’s infinite stare shifted away from the wolf, toward a large rock several dozen feet away … and remained locked upon it, very clearly drawing attention to the massive stone …
The boy was certainly confusing Derek, that's for sure. The fact that this boy in particular was different set the Beta off immediately. Something about how the other smelt. A bird? Shutting his eyes for a brief moment, Derek inhaled deeply. It was a bird; that much for Derek was certain. The more that Derek could witness this boy that was standing in front of him, the more that the Beta could realize that he was seeing something out of the ordinary. Like the new girl within Beacon Hills, that Kira... she and this young one held something in common.
An aura. A supernatural connection that separated the both of them from almost anything else that Derek has came in contact with thus far. He could barely detect it but with those electric blue hues staring deep into his very essence had him conclude that this young boy was certainly abnormal.
Not in a bad way, of course. But it had Derek wonder if there was any way to communicate with the other, considering that the young one had yet to express a single utterance. Or perhaps... did the other not speak whatsoever? Derek tore his eyes away from the boy for a moment to notice that the massive stone not too far from them held a particular scent. Blood... but why was that...
Needing to see what was behind the stone, Derek extended his hand out towards the other, offering a look of permission. Would you care to walk towards the stone with me? he wanted to ask but instead gave hope that the other would be willing to join him. The boy was exceptionally observant - and it had Derek far more than intrigued.
OOC FYI:
I apologize heavily on my inactivity - because of midterms and my grandmother being ill, it's been taking away a lot of my free time to where I could RP with who I've owed so far. After work tonight, I'm going to make it in my best efforts to get back to you guys (since I'm a little shit and now the worst RP partner ever). Just to let you know.
Thank you for your patience. <3 Like if I owe you or wish to have a starter from me --- this is for anyone.
The hopeless girl knocked onto the big door quite a long time. “Please open up!” - She yelled, the rain dripping down from her clothes. The weather was awfull, and she was lost in the town. Being a new girl wasn’t that nice.
Cocking his head, Derek got out from bed, turning on the light to his bedroom and rushing down the spiral staircase. The female on the other side of the door sounded distressed, possibly in pain. It was strange, considering that he didn't smell blood or signs of attack. Flicking on the lights to illuminate the entirety of his loft, he slid the door open and stopped. Eyes wide, he whispered out, "That's impossible."
"Y’know, you really shouldn’t talk to yourself. It’s a sign of madness." She wasn’t exactly sure why she’d decided to spring herself on Derek or more worringly, how she’d gotten to the loft in the first place but for now Lydia chose to forget those disturbing facts. They were fodder for later. Much later.
"You know, you really shouldn't be here. It's a sign of trespassing," he mocked. Why she was here was beyond him. The scent of her presence was a punch to his nostrils. Derek immediately dubbed it as uninviting, unwelcoming. Inhospitable. "Why are you even here? Don't you have anything better to do than to be... here?"
Derek&Teagan//Hale of a thing.
"You think I wanted to be mated to you? You think that’s what I was looking for when I helped you?" she told him. She was getting off the subject at hand. "I came here because you are in danger and there is a part of me that wants you to be okay." she told him. Shaking her head she moved back to get her thoughts together. "I don’t want the New York Derek, Hell a part of me doesn’t even want the Beacon Hills Derek. But what you did changed me." she told him. Witches and wolves always had a connection if they would just open up to see it but this was different this was a unwilling deal that got out of hand.
"I resent the fact the that you think I would lie about the bite because you know damn well you bit me." she told him.
"I think the only difference I see is that you choose to wait until trouble is at your door. I think you forgotten how a bond works I feel what you feel and I see what you see." It was getting annoying watching him make the same mistakes over it was getting boring.
"Then make it simple for yourself then. Leave." Derek gave a shrug. The girl seemed to have this one-track mind of believing that her presence was to be congratulated, honored, made a grand spectacle of. And the Beta wasn't giving her any of that. Not in Hell's chance. "You made it clear that you want neither aspect of me... so why even make yourself known to me at that point?" That was a stupid point of her to bring up, in Derek's opinion, considering that she had such nerve to say that she resented him. Rolling his eyes at her, he paused in mid-step and turned to face her again, shrugging once more at his emphasis of what she said wasn't making her case seem any better. Or why she was even here to begin with.
All that Derek knew was that she was certainly toying with his patience and he wasn't going to have any of that. "What? Did you expect this conversation to go well? To have the happy reunion, the 'I missed you' hug and time bonding over a cup of tea and sitting by the fire?" Derek huffed. "No. If you want a homecoming, this is it. You want to help? Don't get in my way. And don't think for a moment that I'm ignorant of hearing you. I've heard your piece. And now it's your turn to hear the rest of mine. If you don't like how I carry things out in particular now, get over it. Time to shape up and help without having your emotions get the best of you."
Open for all;
Everan could understand the concept of territory, but what he could not understand was the concept of symbols—such as writing on signs—or the words coming out of the wolf’s mouth. No, he just stared at the man-beast with those piercing eyes of ice blue, though curious the gaze may have been.
Derek wasn't sure what to make of the boy - very young, considering that his height and age told the Beta more than enough. One thing that stood out above all else was that the young boy possessed those ice blue eyes, eerily similar to what Derek held as well when in Beta form. Tilting his head towards the side, his eyes narrowed; it was not of anger or irritation. Instead, it was of confusion. He inhaled for a moment before realizing this young boy was different. But in what way? "Do you understand me?" he asked, lowering his voice at a comfortable level so that the boy didn't find him to be a threat.
