What are the differences between dragonflies and damselflies? =0

Dragonflies are in general larger and thicker-bodied. Plus their eyes are larger, taking up most of their head and usually touching on the top/middle. They also rest with their wings down and out. Example:

Damselflies usually have smaller, thinner bodies. Their eyes are on either side of their head and do not touch. And they usually rest with their wings up and together or together back across their body. Examples:
