Do you ever think about how Ms. Casey never had casual human interaction with any of her coworkers and the moment she tried to genuinely provide wellness for one of them she was tricked then abandoned by her coworkers then got tortured for it then the torturers said we are going to make you nonexistent until of course your coworkers who you are still desperate to connect with decide to trick you AGAIN then scream at you to leave making you nonexistent AGAIN?

Tbh I don’t think we really have any evidence to suggest that love transcends severance. I mean it makes sense that an innie and outie version of a person would have the same preferences for what they find attractive, and I think that’s obviously the case Helly/Helena and Mark, but I don’t think we’ve really seen any examples of love between two people actually transcending severance.
Innie Dylan loves his wife because he is a man who has no memories of ever being loved, and suddenly he’s being told “here’s a woman who loves you”. Of course he’s drawn to her. What could possibly be more alluring to him as someone longing for love than to be told he already has someone who loves him?
Outie Irving has lived his whole life never really experiencing love, and now he’s being told “here’s a man who you fell in love with”. Of course he longs for connection with this man. This is the only proof he has that he can be loved.
Helena has grown up on an environment devoid of love and affection, and suddenly she discovers that a different version of herself has found love. Of course she watches the security camera footage of her and Mark kissing over and over again. Of course she wants Mark for herself. Here is the love she’s been wanting for so long.
I don’t think these are cases of love “transcending” severance, I think these are simply cases of people who yearn for love being told that someone does love them, so naturally they want to pursue that person who they have been told loves them.
Irving B you are so loved 🫶🏻

Wait so did Helena know that the claymation thing was going to out Mark and Helly’s kiss to everyone or did she experience that in real time with the others while Milchick is just standing off to the side of the room serenely smiling knowing she can’t do anything about it
innie mark has always been a dick :) even in petey's memories lmao
