what in ukraine is called "sweet potato" is just a very thorough mash of cookies, cocoa, butter and condensed milk shaped like potato and cooled in the fridge. it's like a recipe from already prepared things commonly found in the store. and yet you can buy it ready as well. and it tastes really nicies
you need basic cookies that can easily be crushed into crumb, would be better to do it with blender, then mix it with condensed milk, butter and cocoa powder to get a plasticine-like mass that can be easily shaped in your hands. as for proportions, i'm not sure, you can find many different ones. let's say 300 grams of cookies, 200 of condensed milk, 100 of butter and few spoons of cocoa powder to make a bunch of those. after you shape it into "potatoes" leave it in the fridge for some time to get better tho i guess you can eat it right after making as well
Elon Musk secretly ordered SpaceX engineers to switch off the Starlink satellite communications network near the coast of occupied Crimea in order to thwart a Ukrainian surprise attack on Russia’s naval fleet, according to a report.

Concerned with the survival of unique Ukrainian architecture under constant russian bombing, ukrainian company Skeiron has launched a #SaveUkrainianHeritage project. They 3D scan culture monuments in order to preserve them, at least digitally, if the worst comes true. Asides from this utilitary use, the technology will also be helpful with monitoring the condition of the monuments over time.
While the beautiful church shown on the pictures - Saint Sophia Cathedral - has not yet been uploaded on their site, you can still have a virtual tour of the monuments they have already scanned here

For context: on the 7th of August 2008, russia invaded Sakartvelo (Georgia). It was a brutal imperialist invasion, with shellings of civilian areas and destruction of homes. 20% of the territory of the country was occupied by russia and is still under russian occupation.
In the middle of this, 5 (five) countries expressed support of Georgia, and their presidents went to Tbilisi, despite the russian tanks being close to it. Those countries were Ukraine (whose president Viktor Yushchenko is seen giving a speech in the video above), Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. We saw what it was and we knew what russia would do next. We Ukrainians knew we were going to be the next target. The world at large did not bat an eye at this, and frankly the USA de-facto prerty much supported russia, by vetoing supplies of weapons to Georgia. 7 months later Obama announced his "russian reset" policy, further showing support of russian imperialism.
Fast forward to 2022. Ukraine is suffering under a second, "full scale" wave of the russian invasion. The sheer scale and volume of it had finally become too big for the rest of the world to ignore (as they had been pretty much doing from 2014 till that point). The biggest war in Europe since ww2, by every metric one can come up with.
Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia are still among Ukraine's allies. A lot of people in Georgia have organised rallies in support of Ukraine and some Georgians are fighting in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.... all while Georgia's pro-russian government is adopting russia-like policies and is helping russia to bypass sanctions to kill more Ukrainians.
There will be no moral to this story. Just like the world at large lacks in morals overall.
Here is a Ukrainian woman, Olha Kharlan, an incredible woman and multiple fencing champion, and her prototype Barbie doll. Now she is under pressure and bouts of aggression from the russians for not shaking hands with the russian athlete she defeated, for which she was disqualified.
russians caused genocide - they are allowed to compete
Ukrainian woman whose home was destroyed defeats russian 15:7 - she is disqualified because she did not shake hands with a man who supports the destruction of her people
Russians moving to Mariupol are ordinary Russians. Those ordinary Russians are taking pics with destroyed homes in the background, they wear propagandist shirts. They climb up them ruins and make videoblogs.
Ordinary Russians are adopting deported children. They don't care those children have been stolen from homes. They lie that their parents gave them up. They are horrified those stolen children speak Ukrainian as an act of rebellion.
Ordinary Russians are supporting Putin. They believe they are the better than others, that God is helping them.
Ordinary Russians are working on the ammo factories and produce shells and bullets and bombs. Those are all ordinary Russians.
Ordinary Russians leave thousands of comments cheering to our deaths and tragedies. Deaths and tragedies done by their fucking country and by their fathers brothers and sons. Who also are, you know, ordinary Russians.
Ordinary russians are moving to the freshly built buildings in Mariupol. Freshly built buildings on the bones of those who died from russian missiles last year. Ordinary russians are happy that there are no Ukrainians. In a city they destroyed.

«Information as of 14:00. The documentation of crimes continues, experts are working on the ground»– Oleh Kiper, the head of Odesa regional military administration said.
This is the Transfiguration Cathedral in the center of Odesa:
The destruction suffered by the House of Scientists (Palace of Count Tolstoy). The building is an architectural monument of Odesa. Currently, the halls are damaged, many exhibits have been lost:
next time you will once again think "wow the prices have gone up again", remember that today russia attacked warehouses in odesa and chornomorsk and destroyed 60 thousands tons of grain and left a good part of the world without food.
what's funny about people who pretend to support syrians to spite ukrainians and those that support ukraine is that they don't know just how out of touch this sentiment is with the very same syrians that they claim to support
Sorry to dump this in your inbox but I am so sick of people falling over themselves to excuse the Russian people. Never mind videos of them running after the Wagner group’s tanks cheering. Their blatant support of a group murderers and rapists. No these poor Russians you see just waiting for a chance to rise up and overthrow the government.
Except for when there was an opportunity to take advantage of Putin’s government going through a crisis no one moved an inch. Because of course they didn’t. They were lining up to give the Wagner group food.
It never gets easier seeing people do apologetics for Russia. It just gets more and more infuriating.
Saw some poor soul saying that they hope that after this failed coup "some third, good group will rise up against putin" and I was like ... girl who? Literally point me a popular movement/group/anything in russia that is both anti-putin and anti-russian imperialism
Even the so-called "liberal opposition" who criticises invading Ukraine wants to keep us as a vassal state, only using soft power instead of military. But they also quite decicively don't do shit and just monetize their "correct opinions" with the gullible western grant givers.
Maybe it was not the wisest choice to repeat the lie of "aaah! russia is jailing its citizens left and right for the slightest criticism!!! woe is me!!" on the next day of the leader of a military coup getting away with the same military coup with a what... a vacation to Belarus?
But sure, I can go through the drill:
The actual chance of a russian being arrested during protests is 0,07% (source - independent russian human rights project OVD info)
The actual percentege of russians supporting the war is over 80% (source - independent russian sociological research center Levada)
Here is the footage of Ukrainians fighting for their rights under the repressive regime of Yanukovich, when the risk they were facing was not mere jail, but being shot by a sniper. But life under a dictatorship was worse.
4. Here is the footage of Ukrainians in the occupied regions protesting over russian occupation. The risk they were facing was not mere jail, but either being shot at any moment or being sent на подвал - to one of numerous torture chambers, where they were would be subjected to the following, but not limited to: gang rape regardless of age and gender, mutilation (including genital), castration, electric shock torture (including inserting the rods inside the anus), "the rose" - a torture method when they insert a barbed wire through the tube inside your anus, then take out the tube and violently tear out the wire together with your intestines, etc, etc, etc. But Ukrainians still risked all of this becuase they didn't want to live under dictatorship, and they still resist as partisans.
Як мешканці Херсона зустрічають російських окупантів. Херсон - це Україна___________________________________________________________________
5. Here is footage of Iranians protesting their repressive government at the same time we expected russians to do literally anything. Iranian regime tear gassed, beat up, imprisoned, executed and poisoned those protesters - and that's just some of the things I can recall from the top of my head. And yet they still protested, fully knowing the risk they were making.
Women have led #protests in #Iran that were sparked by the death of #MahsaAmini. Now, the protests are also attracting support from across s
And yet you dare to open your proverbial mouth and claim that russians totally would have protested, if only they weren't living under a repressive regime? Here is a newsflash from the civilized world - if they had protested 30 years ago, there wouldn't have been a repressive regime nor a war to protest today. But they swallowed Yeltsin shooting at the Parliament, they swallowed the first Chechen war, they swallowed putin commiting a terrorist act at home to justify a second Chechen war, they swallowed the Georgian war, they swallowed Syria, they swallowed (celebrated!) the 2014 occupation of Crimea... This war is just one step on a very long path and every previous step was accompanied by a cheerful celebration of "simple, helpless people". Empirical evidence shows that every single time putin stared a war his ratings grew. Because that was a fucking popular decision. (source)
And with the exception of very few people, russians cheered on the invasion on the 24th of February up to the point it was revealed there will be no "Kyiv in 3 days" and the collective West will impose sanctions. The outrage wasn't caused by a fascist invasion, but by McDonalds leaving the market. Нація-гній, нація-дно, нація-нікчема.
And of my guess about your nationality from your user name is correct and you are indeed russian - пиздуй нахуй з мого блогу, кацапня малахольна.
Our intelligence has gained the information that Russia is considering committing a terrorist act at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant - a terrorist act with the release of radiation. They have prepared everything for this.
Unfortunately, I already had to remind more than once that radiation knows no national borders, and who it hits is determined only by the direction of the wind.
We are sharing all available information with our partners - everyone in the world. All the evidence. Europe, America, China, Brazil, India, the Arab world, Africa - all countries, absolutely everyone must know this. International organizations. All of them.
There should never be any terrorist attacks on nuclear power plants, anywhere. This time it should not be like with Kakhovka: the world has been warned, therefore, the world can and must act.
We held a briefing for our partner countries on the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. There were representatives of the G7 and G20 countries, as well as representatives of international organizations. Here, in the Office. The MID, the Office's team, our diplomats provided the available information. Our principle is simple: the world must know what the occupier is preparing. Everyone who knows must act.
We will continue to inform our partners. We will also provide information to those countries that are pretending to be neutral even now. Obviously, radiation does not ask who is neutral and can reach anyone in the world. Accordingly, anyone in the world can help now, and it is quite clear what to do. Full de-occupation of the Zaporizhzhia NPP is a must.
Reminder: do NOT take your eyes off Zaporizhzhia NPP! Many people suspect that the ongoing rebellion spectacle in the russia may be a big distraction. We are NOT safe from a man-made nuclear catastrophe until Zaporizhzhia NPP is deoccupied.
