“It’s just not my thing! I’m more into classic rock and jazz. What even is country? Who sings country?”
“Those two are like a mix and made country!” She laughed. “Luke Bryan sings country, uhmm… Dierks Bentley, Kip Moore, so many good artists!”
“I fail to see how you can mix Blue Oyster Cult and Caravan Palace to make Taylor Swift, dear,” he laughed. “That sounds like a lonely main wailing inconsolably to me,” he gestured towards the radio.

Groaning slightly, Isaac pulled himself out of the chair, turning to face the other. Wrapping his arms around Kol’s shoulders, he dragged his claws lightly down his back before tangling his hand in the vampire’s hair and pulling him closer. “Prove it,” he smirked, leaning in a gently biting the vampire’s lower lip.
“Nasty.. those claws, but I have to admit… I do like it rough,” he commented with a chuckle as he watched the blonde as he got pulled closer. A small groan escaped his throat when the other bit his bottom lip. “Patience, love.. you will eventually scream my name.. don’t worry,” his voice sounding a little huskier than before. Using his vampire speed, the original slammed the wolf against the nearest wall and crashed his lips against his to start off a heatening kiss.
“What do you mean you don’t like country?!”
“It’s just not my thing! I’m more into classic rock and jazz. What even is country? Who sings country?”
He let out a light gasp as the vampire’s lips traced over his neck, eyes briefly flashing gold. Relaxing further under Kol’s ministrations, he reached his arm backwards, his hand grasping Kol’s hair and pulling him closer.
“Maybe you’re right.”
Kol smirked against the wolf’s neck in satisfaction, parting his lips and breathing against the skin taking a moment before he started suckin on it in order to leave a small bruise behind. The hand that was underneath the blond’s shirt moved down to his chest and teased it and the now hard nipple, pinching it slightly with both his thumb and middle finger. The other hand kept playfully rubbing the other pec, his teeth slightly pulling at the skin of his neck before letting go and trailing his mouth back to the other’s ear. “This pretty boy will get ruined,” he softly spoke before his lips dropped back to the male’s neck.

“Seriously? Out of all things you could have decided to do with your life today, you chose to do this?”
“ what? Come on, I am sure you have seen people dance before. Unless you are some live under a rock type of freak. And as for the lamp, it was the most appealing thing in the room.”
“Not gonna lie, it’s the lamp thing that’s throwing me. There’s not meant to be a lamp in here. I’m very confused as to where you got it.”
“Seriously? Out of all things you could have decided to do with your life today, you chose to do this?”
“I’m sure it’s happened once or twice.” Feeling Kol’s breath on his ear, he tilted his head, baring his neck to the other, exhaling shakily. “I want you to show me what a thousand years experience can teach you,” he whispered.
“I might.. think you’re exactly getting what you want,” he breathed into his ear. The hand that was rubbing the skin at his neck just a moment ago dared to slip underneath the material of the werewolf’s shirt, only to move over the tense but developed collarbone. Using his other hand to trail back up his torso, to his chest and ending up rubbing and slightly squeezing the pectoral muscle that it encountered. “Well..well,” he leaned in more, closening the distance between his own lips and Isaac’s exposed neck. The vampire’s lips ghosted over the skin, a slight smirk appearing as he heard the beat of the lycantrope’s heart quicken, momentarily listening to the lovely sound before he started to kiss Isaac’s neck.
He let out a light gasp as the vampire’s lips traced over his neck, eyes briefly flashing gold. Relaxing further under Kol’s ministrations, he reached his arm backwards, his hand grasping Kol’s hair and pulling him closer.
“Maybe you’re right.”
“Hmm, maybe not always,” he allowed himself to relax under the vampires hand. “I’m always tense. I’m a high strung mess. I though that’d be pretty clear by now,” he laughed. Glancing back over his shoulder, he studied the other man. “A good lay? I’m not sure. Maybe you can let me know.”
“Tell me when there was a moment when that smile didn’t get you what you wanted.” He guided his hand more to the blond’s neck, but he maintained the rubbing of the boy’s tensed muscles. “It’s obvious.. the consistent shaking of your body won’t go unnoticed to a vampire’s ears. – You should relax.” He lowered his head, leaning in close to Isaac’s ear. “I won’t hurt you.. only if you’d like me to.” He whispered as a smile crooked up the corners of Kol’s mouth. “How should I let you know? What should I do to you?” He asked in a rather seductive whisper, letting the hand that wasn’t occupied with pushing out knots trail down the other male’s chest.
“I’m sure it’s happened once or twice.” Feeling Kol’s breath on his ear, he tilted his head, baring his neck to the other, exhaling shakily. “I want you to show me what a thousand years experience can teach you,” he whispered.
“Thank you,” he surprised himself with his own sincerity. He should be furious- he knew he should be. He’d never appreciated being manipulated and what Kol had done was even worse. Nonetheless, he couldn’t make himself angry with the vampire. “If you think we’re alike, I feel like I should be the scared one. Not the technical definition of a whore. Not really anyway. I slept around a lot. Sometimes just for drugs. Mostly because why not,” he knocked back a significant portion of the bottle, leaning back against Kol.
“Pretty boys always get what hey want, ay?” He purred at him as he let his hand leave the chair and instead ghost over the blond’s shoulder, before starting to rub it slightly in order let him relax and sink more into the chair. “You’re.. tense,” he commented as he rubbed the clothed shoulder area in attempt to push out the knot in his shoulder muscles. “Scared? I thought you would at least be a little flattered, love. Well, I presume I should label myself as a whore as well.” Not that it would bother him, Kol was never one to deny some good bedroom fun. “So.. tell me.. – you’re a good lay, mate?” He teased, not minding that he leaned against his hip.
“Literally any direction that doesn’t involve dead people,” he forced a laugh. “Past mischief? Fine. Former alcoholic drug addict whore who kept getting into fights I couldn’t win, brought every kind of shit down on my pack and pissed off all the wrong people,” he snapped, “is that what you wanted to hear?” he rested his head in his hands, suddenly too tired to even think straight. “And if you’re going to outright steal, at least have the decency to share.”
“No death? Well, you’re pretty.. so I will try and behave.” He softly spoke as he vamped off, ending up sitting on the rather unstable back of the chair Isaac was sitting in. He took a gulp from the bottle as he listened to the hurt-filled admission of what he’d done in the past. “We’re a lot alike, you and I.. that scares me a little, love,” he smirked. “A whore?” Kol asked curiously, intrigued if he’d been a real prostitue or it was a way to express himself. “This pub is probably mine.. so I’m stealing from myself, but whatever.. sure.” Letting the base of the bottle slip from his hand and catchig it again at the top, slowing lowering it and pushing it against the others chest.
“I wasn’t really in a position to leave them without help. Pack mentality and such. Our Alpha has questionable methods of training his new werewolves, and that usually means that, as first beta, I’m picking up the slack when he hurts their feelings. Or breaks their bones. Or gets too distracted to help them during full moons.” He was technically still a part of the pack, even though he’d left them back in California. And whether or not he’d admit it, he did care about them. “Yeah, I can understand feeling old when you don’t really have a right too.”
“He doesn’t sound like he’s… Very good at his job. I mean, I don’t know a thing about how packs work, but that doesn’t sound helpful in the slightest… Or like he’s very caring for those he’s supposed to watch for.” People like that made her milk boil. Why be in an overseer position, or a position of power, if all you were going to do was be too rough or not care? Pointless. “It’s just life, right?”
“He’s honestly not as bad as he sounds. He started turning betas for the wrong reasons, mainly just because he wanted power, but he does care about it. He’s just not fond of showing it. He likes playing the aloof Alpha. He’s just not the most openly emotional guy. It ended up coming down to him training the new wolves how to fight, while I helped them learn everything else that came with being a werewolf. It’s fine, but it’s looking more and more like I’m going to have to go back for a while sometime soon. The girl who took over for me doesn’t seem to suit the task. She’s a good person, just not overly compassionate. I may have to remind her how much trouble she was for me when she was first turned.”
“Yeah, it did,” he agreed, collapsing into a chair. “Good to know I look better than I feel,” he muttered, grabbing Kol’s drink and downing it. “Please don’t do that again. I’m sure there’s ways to cause trouble that don’t involve murdering sprees.”
“Poor thing,” he fakely pouted at the rather exhausted werewolf. “You shouldn’t be that certain.. I’m the deceiving Mikaelson after all.” Kol said jokingly. Even in moments like these Kol found some way to mess around with someone, to have his own little fun. “Than,” he paused as he leaned over the bar grabbing a random bottle with presumed alcohol in it, “..give me some sort of direction where to go, love.. tell me about your past mischief.” Teeth turning and twisting the cork before he could pull it out, spitting it out behind the bar to get rid of it. Brown eyes momentarily scanning the blond lad’s posture before the vampire took a great amount of liquor down his throat.
“These day’s it’s only a concern around the full moon,” he laughed. “In my pack back home I somehow always ended up in charge of making sure that the new wolves didn’t murder each other. Or anyone else for that matter. I spend most full moons these days on the phone to them talking them down.” Studying the girl in front of him, he tilted his head to one side. “You’re, what, early twenties? Hardly what you’d call old.”
“Egh, I can see how that’s stressful, but at least they know they have someone to turn to, y’know? You didn’t just leave them to fend for themselves.” Ramsey smiled, bouncing her head back and forth, as if tossing the idea round. “It’s more about feeling old than looking old.”

“Can’t argue that. Pessimism is exhausting. And largely redundant. For a while there was a genuine concern that I was going to needlessly stress myself into an early grave. Seems you’ve gotten is pretty well figured out though.”
“Aww, not anymore, though?” She laughed softly, picking at her nails for a moment. “Nah, I’m just old.”

Hardly what you’d call old.”
Shaking his head in disbelief, Isaac downed the drink in front of him. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m not even mad. As you said, I did say I wanted trouble. Not of the murdering sort, though. I’ve been arrested for murder before. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. I don’t care to repeat it.” He knew his hand was shaking on the glass, but there wasn’t much he could do about it. “I knew some witches back home who, once they found out I was coming here, insisted on making sure I could protect myself from shit like that. I didn’t think there was a point at the time, but.. well.”
Kol gave the other a disoriented look and watched him with a confused look on his face. The lad wanted to get himself into some trouble – a murder spree wasn’t a option for him. This was harder than he thought it would ever turn out to be. Witches. They were always around to either help him and assist him with his mischievious plans and trickery or they were there to spoil his fun. “It took a lot from you, figuring that you look like shit.” Not that he was planning on trying again, if it didn’t work a second time it would be awkward.
“Yeah, it did,” he agreed, collapsing into a chair. “Good to know I look better than I feel,” he muttered, grabbing Kol’s drink and downing it. “Please don’t do that again. I’m sure there’s ways to cause trouble that don’t involve murdering sprees.”
“I can respect that. Admire it, actually. Not many people work of that ideology.” He had to admit, the girl surprised him. It had been a long time since he met someone who seemed genuinely decent. He probably shouldn’t have been surprised by how welcome it was.
“It’s so physically and mentally and spiritually draining to be negative.” It was different having a conversation with someone that wasn’t actively trying to change her point of view or bring some sort of negativity into it, which surprised her because of the kind of sadness he held. But it was good company and that’s all that really mattered.
