A/N: I was very inspired to write this as soon as I saw the movie and couldn't wait. I'm sorry if I spoiled someone but hey, it's a risk you take when you enter social networks. I hope you like it and if you want more content follow me because I think Peter is here to stay <3
And I'm sorry if there is something wrong with the pronouns, I'm very tired and can't see well X2
âLet me have Connors, I already healed him once. It's easyâ, he pronounced, balancing in his hand the device that the youngest offered him. The two men looked at him for a second and he shrugged âWhat? It is easy"
"Huh, yeah cool" he replied, letting the boy in the robe search for his own work table.
âI think I can make an antiserum for Dr. Osborn. I've been thinking about that for a long timeâŠâ he heard behind him. He decided to focus on his own work and forgot the conversation the two variants of his were having when he started looking for the necessary chemicals.
The whole thing was crazy. He first he had fallen into that new universe he knew he was definitely not Spiderman, then he saw the villains on the news and it finally turned out to be those guys who found him. And he was grateful for that because at that moment he could realize how much they needed his help. That is, it would be much easier to beat the villains if you had someone on your team who had already fought them. And yet his variant wasn't just trying to beat them, he wanted to heal them. That was truly admirable.
He worked normally and I would even say a bit of enthusiasm when at one-point whispers in front of him caught his attention.
He and⊠well, the other Peter looked at the Peter from that timeline talking quietly to his friends and began to make up their own theories.
"Everything is fine?" asked the older one, who was still wearing his civilian clothes.
The youngest of the three turned and his friends did the same, but they could tell from the expressions on his faces that not much good news was coming.
"I think... huh... well, we have a friend who is... she's great with this engineering stuff and I think she can help us."
"Perfect, then call her" encouraged the boy with the robe. But the teenagers made another face. "After all, I don't think she cares much about the two of us, does she?"
"That's the thing" MJ began to explain "You... I remember you told us you lost your girlfriend, right?" she asked and he nodded barely perceptibly. He was still a wound that did not heal and he hated that someone reminded him "And that his name was Y/N"
"Kids, I'm sorry to interrupt you, but where do you want to go with all this?" murmured the older one, a little impatient.
"With the help of the girl we want to call we will finish in half the time, but she is also called Y/N and we donât know if she looks the same as your dead girlfriend so we want to warn you that it is a possibility" Ned spoke, with so quickly that it was hardly possible to understand it.
Silence completely invaded the environment and it took everyone a second to assimilate what the boy said. All eyes were on Peter in the robe, who just hearing your name was so immersed in his own memories of him as to notice it.
"Come on, Peter!" you yelled in his direction, feeling the autumn wind hitting your face hard. Even though the boy had a city to protect, you had decided that a day off would do him good and that's why you were both in the Finger Lakes National Forest. You were a nature lover and Peter didn't hang out very often, so you thought it would be nice to go for a walk together.
Well, it was being nice to you, because he looked like a little boy complaining.
"Y/N, I wanna rest," he said pouting and stopping behind you "I'm cold and my feet hurt and I'm hungry...â
"You are a cry baby!" you complained in the direction of him, approaching him "Every night you run away from our bed so that dozens of guys hit you without saying anything and now you complain that your feet hurt"
"It also hurts when guys hit me!" he huffed and you laughed at his tantrum.
"Anyway, the problem is that I ask you to do something together?" you asked pretending to be hurt and he smiled sheepishly.
"I didn't mean that..." he started to say, looking genuinely sorry "You know I adore you"
"Well, it doesn't seem like it," you said crossing your arms and looking the other way. He smiled and leaned over to spray multiple, repeated kisses on your cheeks, which ended up making you laugh âOkay, okay. You win, Peteâ you said amused, slapping his chest gently. You thought that maybe you were being a bit harsh with him, after all the boy must have brought the fatigue from the previous nights, âWhat do you say if we go over the bridge and sit down to eat something? I'm starving tooâ you confessed.
"Sounds great" he replied kindly. You began to walk hand in hand until you reached the bridge, where you let go and ran like an excited girl.
"Love, did you bring your camera? This place is beautiful for a photoâ you said happily, climbing on the railing to sit there. Peter smiled and was about to tell you something when he felt a chill on the back of his neck. He saw everything as if it were a slow-motion shot, as you slipped backward and he ran in your direction to try to hold you down. However, he didn't make it, and instead, he threw a cobweb at your chest, hoping to keep you from falling into the river below you.
"Y/N!" he said worriedly. He poked his face down and sighed when he saw you safely "Are you okay?" he asked, climbing towards him little by little, but you could only answer him with a smile.
"I'm fine" you exclaimed naturally, but he didn't seem so amused "Come on, the worst that could happen is that he gets a dip" you continued and he shook his head. He kind of reminded you of your father when he was upset about something.
"It's not funny. I can't be saving you from all the falls that your clumsiness causesâ
"And why not?" you said smiling and approaching him to wrap your hands around his neck "That's what superheroes do, right?" you asked softly. He tried to ignore you, but you brought your lips close to his, trying to steal a kiss from him, and after a bit of effort you finally got a smile out of him.
"You're lucky I can never get mad at you" he murmured pinching his nose. You finally connected your lips with his, forming a soft and slow kiss that made him melt.
âI'm not scared, Spidey. I know you will always catch meâ
"Peter, are you okay?" the adult asked, pulling the boy out of his thoughts. He realized that he had to give an answer and he had to be quick if they wanted to defeat the villains.
"Yes..." he answered vaguely, trying to erase the images of the love of his life, dying in his arms. He had to focus, get over it, and move on. "No problem, do whatever it takes," he said, nodding and going back to working on the antidote at the previous pace. The three young men took that as green light and Ned put the ring back on, taking a deep breath.
"Okay, then let's find Y/N" he exclaimed nervously. He repeated the same process as when he had searched for Peter and after a few attempts, a portal opened in front of everyone, showing a disoriented girl. You were wearing a rather pretty skirt and a light blouse, as well as a pair of delicate slippers, like those of a ballet dancer.
"Y/N! I'm sorry we have to meet like this, but do you remember when you told me in avengers tower that I could call you when I needed your help? Well, this is the momentâ the boy began to explain. Your hair looked different, with dyed strands of bright color, and you looked a little bigger than the last time he saw you, but he thought it was all due to the time you lost contact "I imagine you have seen the thousands of news"
"How do you know my name?" you asked scared. He didn't expect that kind of response.
"How do I know your name? Y/N, we work together on various missions, did youâŠ?â
"Peter" interrupted MJ. When he turned to her, the girl pointed a finger at your hands: there was a ring. That was definitely not there before "I don't think she's our Y/N either"
There was no time to tell you anything else because a second later you noticed the other people in the room and you were already running towards the other Peter, whom you surrounded in a desperate hug.
âI knew you would be here. I was so scared and I didn't know what to do and I saw the news and I knew that I was not in my world and I didn't understand a damn about everything that was happeningâ you said frantically. You hugged him tightly, but he was completely still. When you felt his heavy breathing, you pulled away and saw his pale face like a sheet of paper âAre you okay? Something happened to you? I was with you and I fell from that building and a second later I appeared in this place, I don't understand how or why, butâŠâ
You couldn't say anything else; you were interrupted by his lips desperately kissing yours.
You could feel the salty taste of his tears and the passion with which he wanted to kiss you as if he had never done it in your life. His hands clung to your waist and you felt the atmosphere fill with something like anguish. There were so many feelings floating in the air and so many feelings between your lips that you just started to get dizzy. You were short of breath, the touch was careless and rough, but still, Peter refused to let you go.
Finally, you carefully parted and when you looked at the boy you noticed that he was wrapped in tears. You understood absolutely nothing.
"You're here" was all he could whisper, shortly before wrapping you in his arms and letting go of crying. You looked over his shoulder at the rest of the people in the room and noticed that one of them was dressed as Spiderman. You knew him from the news, however, the other you had never seen. Still, they all seemed to know you and you felt like they clearly knew something that you didn't.
"Peter, what is it?" you asked in a whisper near his ear "Why are you crying, love?"
"You don't have a Y/N in your universe, do you?" Ned asked of the other man. What did he mean by a Y/N?
"Guys I'm sorry to ruin your moment, but time is really running out," said the boy you had seen on the news. Your boyfriend separated from you and wiped the tears with the sleeve of his robe because he had forgotten for a moment the difficult situation in which he found.
âI will explain absolutely everything. I promiseâ he sobbed and brought your lips together again. But this time it was a sweet and soft kiss, the kind that made you feel safe "Now we don't have time, we have to finish these artifacts"
âWell, Ned, find our Y/N. We still need an engineerâ asked the young man, but you approached him immediately.
"I can help," you said watching them "I don't know what it is about, but ... I worked at Oscorp, I can repair almost anything"
"Oh, thank goodness you're not the least bit different from the one we have here,â said the boy. You didn't understand the comment, but you still let him guide you to a table where he already had several pieces. "Well, let's start with this..." he said, pointing to a set. He began to explain to you what it would be for and what he needed and then he got to work on his own project. You looked back and as if Peter had known he looked up from him as well. You still had a lot of questions, but you knew it wouldn't do any good to overwhelm him with it, so you showed him a sincere smile instead. Then he smiled in the same way and nodded softly, with that expression that could only mean: weâll be alright.
"So..." you started to say, never stopping working. To the surprise of the young people, you worked in half the time of the Y/N of their universe. That turned out to be a blessing. "From what I understood, all the people who know that Peter Parker is Spiderman are here thanks to a magical guy who you asked for help to make people in your universe forget that you are Spiderman, right?"
"Yes"
"And you want to help them avoid the fate of their own universe, which in this case is death."
"Yeah"
"And the Lizard and Electro are here from our universe"
"Itâs right"
"And you have three others even worse from another Peter's universe."
"Aha"
"Wow..." you exclaimed in amazement. It was a lot to digest "You guys are really screwed up, kid"
"Yes, I really appreciate your optimism," said the young man with evident sarcasm, while he was putting the finishing touches on the machine for Electro.
"It's not optimism, I'm just telling the truth" you smiled at him and when he was about to answer you, a voice interrupted him.
"Peter?"
"Yes?" the three-spoke "Oh, sorry you mean..."
"Peter, Peter"
"We are all called Peter"
"Peter Parker"
"Same again, bro," they said in unison again and you stifled a laugh.
"Computer!" half yelled the brunette. Everyone was ready, so the smaller Peter started talking to them about the plan and you stood next to your boy. He looked more composed now, but you could still see a bit of terror in his gaze when he focused on you.
You listened to the whole plan carefully and to be honest you were a bit impressed by the confidence with which the boy spoke. Although he was young, he felt that spark of a leader that was impossible to ignore.
âWell, it's now or never. What do you always say?â he asked his girlfriend "If you hope to disappoint...â
"No," she interrupted, "Not this time. Let's kick buttâ
"To heal" the man corrected. He made you think of an old man, but tenderly "To heal butt"
"To heal butt" repeated the brunette. It was agreed that the three Peter Parkers would be at the Statue of Liberty and the youngest's friends would stay in the apartment, communicated by a portal to protect the box.
"And me?" you asked the boy "How can I help?"
An awkward silence filled the atmosphere and you looked at everyone present. It seemed like you said something terrible.
"You stay here," your Peter said, quite firmly. You looked to your side expecting to see him smile, but it was not like that.
"What?"
âYou heard me. You stay here"
His tone of voice was severe and you could even tell that he looked angry, which only confused you more. The boy had cried, he had laughed, he had not stopped looking at you and now he looked annoyed, a whole cocktail of emotions that you did not know how to assimilate.
"I think it would be best to let you guys talk for a moment alone, youngsters," the man said in a low voice, gesturing for the three teenagers to move away a bit.
"Y/N, you wouldn't understand" Peter began, as he made a poor attempt to breathe normally. Failing to do so, he simply closed his eyes and turned away to escape your accusing gaze. âPlease, I just need you to stay here. When we return home, I will explain everything to you "
âWill they put that girl and boy in danger? I can help and you know it!â you insisted. You wanted to feel useful, for them to know that they had your support.
"Iâve said no"
"Why not?"
"Because I can't lose you Y/N! No again!"
The words you were about to say stayed in your throat and suddenly everything made sense, so that deathly silence was back, although this time with more heaviness.
You weren't stupid, you both knew it, and you had managed to connect the dots sooner than expected. Peter seemed to regret saying that instantly, as his eyes crystallized and you believed that he would start crying just as he had when you left that portal.
"Villains are not the only ones who are destined to die... are they?"
Peter started to shake his head, reluctant to talk about anything he had to do with it and pulled away from him to try and regulate his breathing, holding on to the nearest wall.
"Peter..."
âPlease don't ask me anything. I don't know if I can answer youâ he said and his voice seemed to break on the last word.
You thought that knowing that the fall of the building had killed you would leave you in shock, but the truth is that you did not feel anything when you learned that information. You werenât afraid because you knew that at that moment you were safe.
The only thing you were worried about was the trembling and sobbing boy in front of you.
"Peter..." you whispered again, moving closer to him. You wrapped him around his back and hugged him gently, trying to reassure him. You rested your cheek on his back and closed your eyes for a moment as you stroked the skin covered by his suit with your thumbs.
"I'm so sorry" he sobbed, still not wanting to look at you "It was my fault, I should never have let you accompany meâ
"Shh," you whispered gently "I'm sorry I pushed you, I'm a fool. I⊠we'll talk about this later, okay? Forgive me"
"No, no... I..."
"Peter," you said seriously. You stopped hugging him to sneak in until you were between the wall and his body âWe have to concentrate, that child needs your help. I didnât know that this was so, otherwise I wouldnât have asked you anythingâ carefully you extended your hand to his face, wiping the tears from his cheeks âI will stay here, safe. I promise. But I need you to promise me that you will stay safe tooâ you asked. The idea of ââlosing him terrified you more than the idea of ââsomething happening to you.
"What if something happens to you?"
"Nothing's going to happen to me, darling," you exclaimed, trying to reassure him. By God, you felt so cruel about what had just happened and at the same time you were incredulous "Trust me, yes?"
"Yes," he exclaimed, nodding his head gently. He was scared, but he knew he had to focus and fight. For you.
Without warning, you approached her lips and gave her the third kiss of the night, one that now represented the promise of a next meeting and a hope. It was delicate and slow, but firm.
"Now go there and if you don't have time to come back for me then I hope the next time I see you will be in our universe," you said with a smile, gently caressing her cheek. A clear throat interrupted them and they saw the older Spiderman in front of you.
"Sorry to interrupt"
"No problem, Peter was leaving" the boy turned away from you and gave you another look, just to make sure you would stay there "Try to come back in one piece, you still owe me a wedding" you tried to joke and he smiled through tears.
"I will try"
The boy walked through the portal and you saw the other two versions of him watching you closely, but before your boy got too far you called him again.
"Peter"
"Yes?" he asked, turning around with a worried expression. You, on the other hand, smiled at him.
"I love you" you admitted. If it was a moment to say it, this was it.
The boy smiled widely and felt his heartache a little. He had heard those words so many times in his dreams that I doubt they were real this time.
"And I love you too"
Night had already fallen in New York and winter was beginning to appear. Luckily your apartment was heated and the only window in the room was closed. The place felt familiar and homey, perhaps as it had never felt in your life.
Your body ached, the tears in your eyes seemed to have run out after he told you the full story of what he had lived without you, and your chest felt heavy with the emotional charge. But you were fine, even with all that, because you were finally by his side.
"Peter?" you asked when the noise of a siren woke you up. You turned towards him a little and simultaneously saw the clock on the nightstand. Even though you were seeing blurry, you could tell that it was already dawn and he was still looking up at the ceiling just like before you fell asleep.
"Huh?" he asked distractedly. He was not wearing a shirt and that allowed you to see some wounds from the battle he had fought hours before.
"Why are you still awake, love?"
"Oh... it's just, huh, I'm not sleepy" he tried to lie. But the dark circles under his tired eyes said otherwise.
"Yes? Well, I don't believe you a little bit "you whispered. You were sleepy, so you struggled a bit to keep your eyes open. You kept quiet, watching him for a few minutes, and then spoke again âYou won the battle, everything is fine. Now you should sleep, you need to restâ
"I canât. I'm scared" he admitted and finally turned his head to look at you.
"Scared of what?" you asked curiously. He was silent a second time and didn't speak again until he finally plucked up his courage:
"I am terrified of waking up and that you are no longer here"
Your heart contracted a little at his confession and the urge to cry washed over you. The darkness made him look even more vulnerable and his features had softened considerably.
You got up from your place and climbed onto his lap, lying on his semi-naked body, and stretched your neck until you reached to leave a kiss on his lips. As you kissed him you felt how the tension in his body was disappearing and the heat took its place.
"I'm not going anywhere" you whispered against his lips. You both felt dizzy with love "I promise you. But now I need you to rest, honeyâ you said quietly âCan you do that? For me?â you asked him in a whisper. He ended up giving up and nodded, as he held you tighter against himself. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep and you made sure of that so you could sleep too. The boy rested as he hadnât in many months and slept well into the morning.
When an incident takes place between you and a team member, the argument afterwards leads to you quitting the Avengers. Youâre sad to go, but youâre excited for your new adventure.

Warnings: fluffy excited Charlie !!!
Pairing: Charlie Weasley x Reader
Summary: Charlie Weasley goes to a Wizarding creatures convention and leaves with more than just a signature from his hero Newt Scamander.
Word Count: 1.6k
A/N: woo this is the first Charlie fic Iâve written and I liked it! Heâs like 5th year or something btw so still a student and also Newt is like in his 80s lol also I wish the national magizoologist convention was real like that sounds dope
Also I wrote this differently than my others like it says âsheâ instead of âyouâ but I was too lazy to change it hehe
Part of this is inspired by this headcanon I read and love!
He couldnât believe it. Charlie shook with excitement as he looked around the large convention room. Somehow, after almost a year of begging and collecting and saving spare change, Charlie convinced his parents to let him attend the National Magizoologist Convention. He looked down at the pamphlet in his hand and smiled widely at the moving picture of one of his heroes, Newt Scamander. Above the shyly smiling icon were the words that Charlie had been repeating for the past months to his family.
National Magizoologist Convention
With speaker, best-selling author and respected Magizoologist, Newt Scamander
Charlieâs stomach flipped with happiness. His older brother, Bill, stood next to him, sighing with his hands in his pockets. âSo this is it, huh?â
âIsnât it amazing?â Charlie looked around at all the people walking around, looking at all the different booths. Weird birds flew over their heads and various animal noises were heard all around them.
He flipped through the pamphlet the witch at the door handed him. âThey have booths about all kinds of magical creatures, Bill. And at each booth, magizoologists are there to talk about them!â
âWhen does Newt Scamander speak?â
Charlie shrugged. âIn about 45 minutes.â He shoved the paper in his backpack and put it back on.
Bill nodded and pushed his brother ahead of him. âWell, come on. Letâs check them out.â Bill chuckled as his brother practically ran to the closest booth.
They walked around, looking at and learning about all kinds of creatures, some of which Charlie had only heard about. Others, he knew like the back of his hand, but listened eagerly to the person tuning the booth anyway.
âI wonder whatâs at that one?â Bill jutted his chin somewhere behind Charlie. He turned and followed his gaze, where a larger crowd was gathered around a booth.
âI donât know. Come on.â Charlie grabbed Billâs arm and pulled him towards it. His face hurt from smiling as he peeked over people to look. âDragons!â
âOh boy, itâs good thing we came to this last or you wouldnât have seen anything else. Youâre not going to leave this one, are you?â
Charlie ignored him as he marveled at the dragon eggs on the table. Behind the table stood a girl, but Charlie couldnât see her very well. She looked about his age and she was holding a baby dragon, talking about it like it was a harmless reptile. He had never seen such a sight. A pretty girl holding a dragon like it was a puppy? He had never seen something so amazing.
âThis is the Common Welsh Green. Itâs usually harmless unless itâs provoked and this one is clearly just a baby, so itâs pretty safe,â the girl said with a big smile. Charlie had a hard time choosing between looking at the dragon and the girl. Both were equally beautiful.
âPretty safe? Thatâs a bit unsettling,â Charlie heard someone near him mutter before they scurried away, making room for Charlie to edge forward in the crowd.
âCharlie, itâs almost time for Newt to speak.â
âBut the dragonsââ
âWe can come back later. Donât you want a good seat?â
Charlie reluctantly admitted his older brother was right and followed him to the seats. He sat down in a seat and his legs bounced from excitement.
âCharlie, calm down.â
âBill, weâre about to see Newt Scamander! How are you not excited?!â
âNow I get why mom made me come with you instead of going herself,â he muttered. âYouâre just a handful of excitement.â
A gentleman came out on stage and thanked everyone for coming before announcing the main speaker, Newt Scamander.
âShh! There he is!â Charlie smacked Billâs leg and sat up straight to see over people. The crowd settled as the man himself, much older now than his young picture on the pamphlet, walked out onstage, waving respectfully. He put his wand to his throat and began speaking to the silently excited crowd.
âHello, thank you all for coming,â Newt started. Charlie smiled widely. He was exactly how he imagined him. Slightly awkward, avoiding eye contact with any specific person, and best of all, extremely passionate about the creatures he talked about.
Charlieâs eyes were glued to Newt the whole time, soaking in all the information he gave about his adventures and creatures he came across.
When he was replaced on the stage by the first guy, who told them to continue walking around to see the booths, Charlieâs happiness deflated a little.
âCan we go back to the dragons?â
âOf course,â Bill smiled and followed his little brother.
Apparently the majority of the people there were mostly interested in Newt Scamander and left after his time on the stage. This was great news to Charlie, because it meant less people to bump into or block his views.
He slowed down when the dragon table came into view. The girl was gone, and the table was cleared.
âLooking for something?â A voice asked.
Charlie turned quickly to see the girl, still holding the small dragon in her arms. Charlie felt like he was flying. He couldnât tell if it was because he was standing a foot from the prettiest girl ever, or if it was because she was holding a real live dragon.
âY-Yeah, actually. You.â
She laughed. âThe dragons are always a big hit. Well, for a little bit. Most people get scared away when I tell them this guy is real.â
âI love it,â Charlie said, perhaps a little too quickly.
âIâll be back, Charlie,â Bill said, âIâm going back to the Hippogriffs. I wanna see why Hagrid wants one so bad.â
Charlie nodded and he walked away.
âHagrid?â
âHeâs the gamekeeper atââ
âHogwarts,â she said with him. âI know. I go to school there.â
âYou do?â How has he never seen her before if they went to the same school? âMe too.â
She smiled. âIâm a Hufflepuff. Just like my grandfather.â
He nodded. âGryffindor.â
âIâm (Y/N) Scamander, by the way.â She stuck out a free hand and Charlie shook it.
âChaâdid you just say Scamander?â
She giggled and nodded.
âAs in Newt Scamander?â
âThe very same. Heâs my grandfather.â
Charlie was still shaking her hand, too stunned to remember basic human etiquette such as not holding strangers hands for too long.
He let go, realizing how awkward he was being. âYouâre M-Mister Scamanderâs granddaughter?â
She nodded. âPeople arenât always this surprised. I mean, same hair, same eyes, Iâm basically a girl carbon copy of him.â
Charlieâs eyes darted around her face face, suddenly realizing how much she did look like his hero.
âWow. Oh, uh, Iâm Charlie. Charlie Weasley.â
âItâs nice to meet you, Charlie. I noticed how interested you looked in the dragons earlier. Say, do you want to meet my grandpa?â
âWhy?â
She quirked an eyebrow. âWhy?â
âI mean, like, Iâm just a random boy. Everyone here would die to meet him, why me?â
She shrugged. âYou seem genuinely interested in dragons and youâre cute.â
Charlie blushed. âUhââ
âYou want to?â
He looked to wherever Bill had run off and nodded. âAbsolutely.â
She led the way and he followed her to a room in the back, where a few official looking wizards were standing guard. Charlie was intimidated and also his palms were sweating badly.
âGrandpa?â
Newt looked up and smiled at his granddaughter. âHello, (Y/N).â
âGrandfather, this is Charlie Weasley. Heâs a huge fan.â
âH-Hi sir. I, uh, sorry to bother you, I just wanted to say Iâm a huge fan of your book and youâre my hero, I want to grow up to be just like you and study creatures and, again, sorry to bother you.â
Newt didnât say anything for a moment, making Charlie nervous. A smile grew on Newtâs face.
âCharlie Weasley, you said?â he asked softly and (Y/N) nodded. âYes, I remember you.â
Charlieâs heart stopped.
âYouâre the boy who wrote me letters all the time. I must say, I donât think Iâve gotten one from you in quite some time.â
Charlie was choked up for a moment. His hero knew who he was because of his letters? âM-my mother told me to stop bothering you all the time.â
âDonât be silly. Iâd say youâre as enthusiastic about creatures as I am. Especially dragons. Iâd hate for you to keep back your excitement. In fact, I miss your letters.â
Charlie couldnât stop smiling.
After Newt gave him advice about what classes to take his last few years in order to do what he loved, and getting a signature in his copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Charlie followed (Y/N) out of the room.
âThat was amazing. Thank you so much!â He expressed, hardly being able to speak still.
She laughed. âWould you want to go on a date with me sometime? Maybe next week?â
âWhat?â He choked. So many things had happened at one time. First he saw this girl holding a freaking baby dragon, then she introduced him to her grandfather, Newt Scamander, and now she was asking him out?
âI mean, as long as you promise not to use me go get to my grandfather,â she teased.
Charlie, too flustered to talk, nodded quickly. Newt was slipping from his mind as he stared at her, letting her hair falling in her face a little from nervousness.
âNewt Scamander may not be the most sociable person, but you sure are forward.â
She smiled confidently. âI get it from my mum.â
âY-Yeah, Iâd love to. Definitely. And I promise I wonât use you to get to your grandfather. As long as your love for dragons is real, weâll have plenty to talk about,â he assured with a nod and a smile.
(Y/N) smiled. âGood. Iâll see you later then, Charlie.â She kissed his cheek, his face turning red again. âIâll send you an owl.â
âCharlie, where have you been?â Bill caught up him as she walked away.
âI-I got Newtâs signature and Iâm going on a date with his granddaughter next weekend,â Charlie said slowly, trying to wrap his head around what happened.
âI swear I was only gone for ten minutes. How did you manage that?â
This part always gets me, not just because of the situation but because of Oliver. Just think - that really is his brother lying on the floor, not just another actor. Heâs not just George seeing Fred, heâs Oliver seeing James. Itâs not just a role heâs playing, and thatâs what makes it almost unbearable to watch.
Can you imagine what it must have been like growing up for George and Fred. Notice how I said George and Fred because we always call them âFred and Georgeâ as if they were one person - just like their mum. Their own family couldnât tell them apart. They didnât have perfect grades like Percy. They werenât as cool as Bill or Charlie. They werenât the youngest male like Ron and they obviously werenât female like Ginny. So they created a niche for themselves - The Pranksters. Because if people werenât even going to bother to tell them apart then they were going to make people pay attention by pranking people and acting out. Then some scruffy looking boy in their younger brotherâs year (ickle Harrikins) can tell them apart.
Thereâs a reason George Weasley and Fred Weasley never pranked Harry Potter - because heâs the only one that bothered to try.

Every since the knew Greenie had arrived, heâd given you weird vibes.
Youâd be lying if you said that you didnât mentally hope that just once theyâd send up a girl. Being the only female in a group of boys became repeatedly annoying, and while most of the boys you were surrounded by knew there boundaries, there was always the stereotypical cat-call. Or possibly the demeaning that came with the boys always saying you werenât as physically strong as them, therefore had to be protected.
You held up your own well enough, and by now, given that you were the second Greenie to ever arrive in this God-forsaken place, youâd earned your place. Most of the boys cared for you, but knew better than to underestimate your strength. You were a runner, along side Minho, and you had just as much authority as Newt, next to Alby.
But of course, being the only girl did come with itâs cons. Every time there was a new Greenie and he was a boy, depending on the age, there was always the worry that maybe this boy just wouldnât understand the rules that had been put in place given your role. Or maybe he wouldnât care. By the seventh Greenie, youâd learn to grow use to being surrounded by boys. Youâd even accepted the fact that, for an indefinite amount of time, it seemed like W.C.K.D. would only ever bring boys up.
But that didnât make the fear any lesser. Yeah, you could hold up your own. But these were boys, and you had no idea who they were each time they came up or how theyâd react to see one girl in a group of guys.Â
Luckily the boys, specifically Newt, made it clear to every new Greenie that you were not to be touched or harassed in anyway. It usually came along with some threat, and in that moment, you didnât really mind being protected. You trusted some of these boys with your life, namely Alby, Minho, Fry, Winston and of course, Newt.
You knew they wouldnât let anything hurt you, or anyone, just like you wouldnât let anything hurt them.
But something was different this time. This new Greenie, Aaron, just seemed off. It had only been his first day there, given that heâd arrived early in the morning, and ever since heâd been given the tour by Alby, all he would do as stare at you. Even now, late at night, when everyone was taking the chance to relax, you could feel a pair of eyes on your back.Â
You shrugged it off, knowing that heâd already been given the talk. Aaron could stare all he wanted, but it wouldnât change anything. Wouldnât change where your heart lied.
Nestled into Newtâs side, you let his arm fall around his shoulder, taking a sip of your water as your eyes stared at the large doors that led to the maze. After a long day of running, you were promptly exhausted. Glancing back behind you, you knew Minho was as well. But full on festivities were on tonight, given the arrival of new supplies and of course, a Greenie.
The boys cheered and chatted, taking swings of Gallyâs concoction which you had politely denied. Though, Newt still allowed himself to indulge in the rather⊠odd tasting beverage.Â
You wanted to stay awake, you really did. All day running and finally you were able to be by Newtâs side, but you found it become increasingly difficult to keep your eyes open. And there was something more you had to do in the map room. So sadly, you had to get up,
Turning your head, you pressed a soft kiss against Newtâs cheeks, an immediate smile growing on his lips as you did so. When you pulled back, the hand that had been around your shoulder delved into the ends of your hair, caressing the back of your head. Cheeks slightly flushed, Newt smiled over at you;Â âgoing to bed, love?â
âSoon,â you nodded, smiling softly back. âI have to do one finally thing, then iâll be heading to bed. You coming?â
Newt paused, glancing back at the group of boys partying around the fire, the reflection of it dancing in his eyes. You smiled as you saw his eyes twinkle. âI think iâll stay with the shanks for a little while,â he explained as you nodded. âOkay?â
You nodded, âof course.â Pressing another quick kiss to his cheek, you stood up, pulling the sleeves of your shirt further down your arms. âIâll see you later.â
âDonât be out there for too long,â Newt called, watching you leave.Â
âI wonât.â
And you really wouldnât be, or at least, you didnât hope to be. You hated walking to the map room late at night, but Minho had asked you to do one last thing, something he only trusted you to do, and youâd put it off for much too longer. So, you took quick strides, willing yourself not to glance around at the deep delves of trees around you. You knew itâd only freak you out more.
You didnât notice the figure that followed you, and somehow, neither did you notice the stare.
At least, not until there was a sudden grip on your shoulder and you were aggressively pulled, your back smacking against the trunk of a tree. You groaned out as you felt your vision blur for a second, given that your head had also been aggressively smashed against the rough bark. You blinked a few times, trying to see who was before you. You prayed it was just one of the boys, maybe Minho or Newt, playing a prank on you. But you knew theyâd never hurt you.
Swallowing thickly, you felt your vision finally clear and a pair of blue eyes staring down at you. A sudden bundle of panicked welled within you when you noticed that it was the Greenie, Aaron staring at you. Not to mention, that at this point heâd trapped between his arms on either side of your head and was leaning dangerously close to you.
âAgh,â you hissed, raising your hand to touch the back of your hand. You wouldâve, had Aaron not grabbed your wrist and press it against the bark behind you.Â
âWhat the hell are you doing, Greenie?â You hissed, eyes narrowing in the darkness of the night. You let your eyes fall back the way you came, your heart plummeting when you saw just how far you were from camp. There was no way anyone would be able to hear you, and you doubted Aaron was going to let you scream.
âYou know my name,â the boy hissed back in response. âRemembered it earlier, remember?â
âYeah,â you sighed, blinking. âAnd I donât care. Get off me,â you huffed, struggling within his grasp. You raised your free hand to shove him off you, but Aaron grabbed that one two. It was then that the real panicked settled in - whatever (and you had a pretty good idea of what) Aaron wanted to do, he really wanted to.
âSorry, princess, but no can do.â Aaron smirked, and even in the middle of the night, you could see the twinkle of mischief behind it.
Snarling your lip, your struggles increased tenfold. âI swear to God, you shank! Let me go!â As your panic rose, so did your anger.
Aaron only tightened his grip and you felt your breath get caught in your throat the moment he leaned in even closer to you, the lightest touch of his lips reaching your neck. âIâm curious,â Aaron whispered and you shivered in disgust when you felt his lips press a kiss against your neck. âYouâre the only girl in this entire gladeâŠâ
What youâd been trying to deny seemed to slap you in the face as you felt Aaron slide his hand under your shirt. You tried to push him off you were your now free hand but with the way he was positioned, it was practically impossible. That didnât mean youâd stop making this difficult for him though.
âHow come that little blonde shank getâs you all to himself, huh?â
You snarled at the mention of Newtâs name, narrowing your eyes dangerously. âBecause, it ainât a pig like you, you damned shank.â You spat, pressing yourself even further against the tree when Aaronâs hand just reached the cup of your breast.
Biting your lip, you felt your eyes water with water. You were trying to think of a plan, but all thought was lost the moment you felt Aaron dig his teeth into your neck. A scream immediately left your lips, it echoing across the entire forest. You were about to scream out for help, wondering why you hadnât done that before, but then Aaronâs hand clasped around your lips, digging the back of your head into the bark.
Your eyes fell shut as a sharp pain ran through your through, breathing becomingly increasingly more difficult.
âYou little bitch!â He spat, his narrowing with anger. That same familiar terror you felt when you might not make it back into the glade after a day in the maze filled your stomach, and you so desperately wished that Newt had somehow heard your scream.
Letting go of your hand, Aaron pressed his knee in-between your legs, trapping you as his hands went to the hem of your shirt, ripping it up through the middle. A cry left your lips as he did so, lips parting to call out for Newt before Aaronâs hand was on your mouth again, his face dangerously close again.
âNot another peep,â he grounded out.
You didnât even hear, in your panic, the sounds of footsteps running your way. The only time you realized someone was there when you saw a fist clash with the side of Aaronâs head, sending him to the ground Minho appearing before you. You let out a deep gasp the moment you realized his hands were gone from your lips, the tears finally falling from your ears.
You were about to collapse against the ground before two arms wrapped around, and you were in the familiar embrace of Newt. The moment you realized it was him, you latched on to him tightly, barely noticing the crowd of boys, that consisted of Alby, Fry, Winston and more, as you buried your head into the crook of his neck.
âItâs okay, love,â Newt whispered, his hand falling on the back of your head. You shuddered against his grip, your fingers practically digging into his own skin but Newt didnât much mind. He was too busy glaring at the slowly steadying Aaron, who groaned out in pain.
Meeting Minhoâs eyes, they both shared a look before Newt gently pulled back from your grasp. Smiling at you, he helped you to a stand. âMinhoâs gonna get you to a medjack, okay?â
You shook your head rapidly as Newt cupped your cheeks, âdonât leave meâŠâ You whispered.
âIâll be right behind you, love,â Newt smiled, âthereâs something I gotta do.â
Glancing back at Aaron, you clued in pretty fast to what Newt meant. And nodding solemnly, you walked over to Minho, his hand wrapping around your waist to steady you as he begun leading you off.
Newt might not look like much, but when it came to you, that didnât matter.
âLook,â Aaron begun, raising his hands. âI didn-â
He never got to finish his sentence before Newt delivered a sharp punch across his cheek, sending him to the ground once again. Towering over him, Newt glared down at him;Â âI told you, no one touchâs Y/N.â Without another word, Newt promptly turned and left, running to catch up with you.
âBind his wrists,â Alby called after a moment, âtomorrow, heâs banished.â
