anyway. call me what you want but i don’t get how things these days in rp have gotten to a point where you can have a ship or a plot with someone and not exchange two words with that person and the whole thing boils down to writing random ass threads you don’t discuss or talk about. and i’m just??????? don’t yall like talking about your characters?????? discussing what they’re like in the in between????? sharing stupid ass headcanons or au ideas that end up evolving into full plots????? like. was that only a thing for me or did i miss some memo or what is it? because i love writing my characters but i love talking about them and these days it feels like that part is lost? or maybe that part only ever existed for me and i’m the one that’s been doing rp wrong this whole fucking time.

and on a sidenote I'm just tired of being made feel bad for writing stuff for people. which I get may be directly connected to my innate need for validation but how can you have a thread with someone and not talk about it? especially if it's a ship thread but any thread really? do you not comment on other characters' actions? do you just. write and be done with it? how does that work? I just gotta start changing my approach to the whole thing it seems. write. link. rinse and repeat.
