3/? The Hunting Party - Shane/Bex moments that live rent free in my head always
23. The way he looks at her, he's not even trying to hide the fact that is where his mind went, and then we see the exact second that he catches himself.
24. She knows him and knew that she would be right, which of course she was. Honestly, this whole scene is so good, the way the team is just always having little convo's throughout their manhunts, like its just a team that get along and like each other, these two most of all.
25. He was only agreeing to it if she was on board (which we also see in a later ep) and the way that the other two turn away to give them their side note time, and Bex is concerned but her trust in him wins out.
26. He called her to make her see the news, and somehow it just turns into them enjoying each others company - after spending all day together - and the way that they acted, it didn't seem like it was uncommon, the way she put him on speaker and just plays with the rubrics cube, it all just feels like their normal.
27. What's not to love, it's such a fun little scene, he knows that she is feeling down about how she interrogated their perp, and pulls her out of the darkness by turning the light on for her, not letting her dwell in it and making her smile. And as we see she gets out of her comfort zone pretty fast, letting herself enjoy the makeshift karaoke.
28. The way that Hassani is slightly unsure, the spy in him making his distrust rise easily, but Bex has no hesitation, she knows that he's on their side without a doubt, and the look Hassani gives her after her answer, it's a bit like why did I ask, of course you do.
29. I mean, what's not to love about this scene, the way he cradles her, stroking her face while she grips onto him tightly, the way that they were both spooked but they are both reassuring the other; he's telling her that he has her and she's telling him that she's okay, because they both know that's what the other needs to hear. Honestly, I could write paragraphs on this scene.
30. There's a lot of lack of personal space between them, especially when it isn't required, they both just gravitate towards each other and whether or not they notice, it would be very hard for everyone else not to.
31. We see him get her a lot of things, and she clearly has noticed too, and is appreciative of it, but also, he literally goes and sits to the side of her, he could have just placed the water on the table, still in front of her, and yet, he actively chooses to put it down where he has to lean across her, invading her personal space - not that she cares in the slightest.
32. The way that he always just backs up whatever plan she has with the prisoners, and we see it make her feel more confident about it, she knows that he'll catch on and play along, and if it gets too messy/too close to her line, she knows that she can turn to him.
33. He's worried, and she's almost playful about it, I think this scene sets up a lot of how they would be when they are together, they will always be both serious and messing around with each other, at the same time, and probably still annoying Hassani with the way they are.
