where – the grand ballroom with – open
stuffy events have never been peach’s favourite. the dresses are never comfortable, the conversations are never fulfilling and for the most part, you’re trapped in a chiffon-decorated room with people you dislike for hours upon end. but they were a great source of drama. perhaps that’s why she’d let her mother drag her to attend. maybe, if they were lucky, they’d get to see someone throw a drink in someone elses face. “who do you think will be the first to cause a scene?” peach asks the person closest to her, not really paying much attention to who they might be. “my bet is on the woman over there -” she points her champagne flute in the direction of a blonde woman in a red dress. “i just saw what i presume to be her husband snake his hand around some other girl’s waist. it’s a distaster waiting to happen.” there’s a sparkle in her eyes as she speaks.
seline was trying to be the corporate jung emblem but she obviously hadn’t tried hard enough seen as she was already intoxicated - seline jung never did have the ability to pace herself. people were reminded quickly that a party girl was now heading up one of the biggest investment companies in the world and she was overwhelmed by the latter. her mother and brother weren’t coping well and she was just trying to stabilize everything while keeping herself afloat. contrary to popular belief, seline was very compassionate and rather naive - she would want to keep others happy, so long as she could have her own fun. finishing her current drink, the woman puffed at the other’s comment. “what does it matter to you? it’s not your business. you know.” she stressed, eyebrows raising. “little brains discuss other people.” she knew that wasn’t the saying but couldn’t recall it in her current state.
