My Opinion

I think that the book change my perspective of life because Hanna Baker didn’t care about it, and she thought that life didn’t make sense just because some people make things that you don’t like. That changed my perspective because she gave it a lot of importance to that little things that where not that big, and she ruin her life just for making too much attention on that things. Now I see the life different, because I can be stronger to my future problems and now I know that I should not give that importance to little problems in life because little by little can hurt you more. I think that Hannah did what she did just because she was arrogant and she wanted to make people feel bad just because she was feeling bad.

Also this book help me to realize that you can’t ruin people life’s just because some mistakes you made. I didn’t like that Hannah committed suicide just for that problems and that she gave a lot of importance to that people that didn’t make it on purpose.

Main charcacters:

Hannah Baker:

The entire book is based on her telling the people that hurt her and provoked to take this decision, explaining them the reasons for why she did it. The entire story takes place around her.

Clay Jensen:

Clay is the narrator of this novel. I think is the the second most important character because he has a lot to do with Hannah’s decision. He was in the tapes but not in a bad way. They were in love with each other, but they didn’t know well. One day they went to a party and they kissed, but after that night neither he or Hannah had the courage to talk to each other. I think he affects her because she thinks that he used her.

Justin Foley:

I think also is a important character because he hurt her a lot. Justin was the reason why rumors started about Hannah and when her false reputation went around. He was Hannah’s first crush and her first kiss. He started telling people a rumor about what happened with him and Hannah and that’s when the bad things started, because it was not true. Justin appears when Clay and Hannah really got to know each other.

Why I choose this book?

I choose this book because a friend of mine recommended it to me and second because I read the book description and I found the story interesting because I could never understand why people rather than moving forward and overcome, decides to take his life. I wanted to see if the story changed my perspective.
