I want to reply more but since I have been away for so long, Iâm rusty and my bear gauge is depleted again, so I will wait a bit to recover before doing more drafts. Sorry.

A laugh escaped from Marinetteâs frame, nodding. âIâve heard of someone who would eat every bite of this if it was cheese, but thatâs the only one I could think of that would be able to finish such a meal.â Truthfully, everything looked absolutely delicious and a welcoming gesture was made as the Parisian made her way to the table, taking her seat eagerly. A small bit of frosting from the cake was taken by the edge of her finger and subtly dipped into the pocket.
âYuna.â The girl repeated, nodding. âMy name is MarinetteâŚah?â The question caught her off guard. Although her motherâs Chinese heritage flowed through her, Marinetteâs features and language were wholeheartedly of French decent.Â
âNo, Iâm not.â She shook her head, removing her now cleaned finger from her pocket. âIâm French. Iâve never heard a foreigner with such an excellent pronunciation.â Without realizing that she was instead auto translating in her mind, it sounded like perfect words were coming out from her. âIâm from Paris. ThisâŚâ There was a saddening expression growing on her features. âThis really isnât anywhere near there, is it?â
Yuna nodded. âItâs not my pronunciation. Somehow you were sent to another world, like me. I guess you have the same ability as me as well, which is to automatically translate everything to the language of this other world. It might look like we are speaking French to you, but for me it looks like we are speaking Japanese. In truth, itâs none of those. We are speaking the language of this world. Confusing isnât it?â Yuna stared at Marinette. It was her first time seeing a French girl. Maybe, if they ever met each other in their world, they would never be able to communicate, due to their different languages.
âAs for why you were sent here...Iâm not sure. In my case I was playing an online game, before it started behaving weird and sent me here...in a bear outfit.â She grabbed a pizza slice and began eating it. âAlso, I have no idea on how to return to our world. Granted, Iâve never tried to find a way to go back, so if you try you might find something.â
jakcbyâ:
âIâm Jakoby.â Ever since he gotten here had been afraid of him. He had even seen a few places saying he was a monster, which isnât anything new he had even had a bounty placed on him. âI guess yer here to get that bounty?â
âYeah, kind of...â Yuna answered, still staring at him. âAre you the mysterious monster roaming around?â He didnât seem dangerous. Maybe she could solve this peacefully.
devilslcgâ:
âYouâre wearing it inside out,â repeated Sanji slowly. Odd. Definitely odd, but cute nonetheless. She was free to wear her clothes however she liked, he supposed. How wearing it inside-out made sleeping easier was beyond him, but he wouldnât question her or the powers her suit gave her when it was, clearly, out of his mindâs reach.
âYouâve got a house? How are you going toââ?â He had already begun to step away like she had asked, but he was cut-off when something unbelievably large came out of her glove. Sanji stared, gawking in disbelief, at the structure that sat between them. He had witnessed devil fruits with odd powers before, but this was itâs own special brand of strange. âHow are you carrying a whole house with you in your hand?â
âItâs a traveling house, thatâs why.â Yuna answered, deciding to dodging the question. Some things should not be said to strangers. Usually, she wouldnât even show it to unknown people, but she was sleepy and not thinking straight. âGood night.â Saying that, she entered the house and closed the door behind her.
Back from hiatus
Hellooo, Iâm back! I lost my muse for a while, but now that a new manga chapter of Kuma Kuma Kuma bear was released, I recovered my bear gauge a bit! So I will be replying to some drafts! If you want, you can also like this post for a starter!

Marinette took off to the bath, closing the door behind her and allowing Tikki to float out freely, although the small Kwami gave a shiver. âSorry, Tikki. I know you had to take a lot of that. The warm water should make you feel better.â The small godling nodded in return, her little fin raising to rub her nose some. The girl would follow the instructions to the letter, turning on the rush of warm water and allowing herself to disrobe and slip in once ready.
Soaking with Tikki, she wondered if it would be alright for the Kwami to be seen by the other. This place was strange enough, so perhaps it wasnât Paris any more. Or even the world she knew. But the secret had to be kept, so Marinette tried to think of ways to smuggle food to her small friend. A smile lit her face as Tikki splashed around in the water, seeming much better than before.
Once dried off and dressed, Marinette opened her pocket for the Kwami to fly into. Stepping out, the aroma of food filled her nose, causing her stomach to grumble. âOh⌠Guess I havenât eaten since before the Akuma attack, huh?â There was a small remorse to her voice, worry coloring her features which lingered even as she approached the dining area.
The expression left her face as she saw the feast before her. âOh wow! This all looks amazing!â Marinette cheered some at the sight. Glancing around, she didnât see any cookies, but she could see a few other sweets that Tikki would enjoy. âThis is so much, I canât tell you how much I appreciate it.â She beamed a little, her gaze moving to the sofa where the bear girl sat. âI hope youâre going to help me eat all this, miss.â There was a slight laugh in her voice.
Yuna smiled as Marinette came back from the bath. âI guess I donât have another choice, do I? If someone ate this all alone they would get an indigestion.â
Yuna said in a joking tone, but she truly didnât want to be blamed if that happened. Plus, it was more fun to eat together with someone.
âThatâs right, I havenât told you my name yet, have I? Iâm Yuna. Before anything else, let me ask. Where are you from? You donât seem Japanese.â
Although Yuna herself was Japanese, it was obvious from the girlâs features that she wasnât. That probably meant that they were only able to communicate with each other because they were in another world. Since Yuna gained the ability âLanguage of another worldâ upon being sent there, she could only guess it was the same for that girl. So, while everything being said in that world looked like Japanese to Yuna, for the bluenette...it probably looked like whatever her native language was.
bearxclawsâ:
âGoinâ solo, huh? Youâre kinda small and donât look all that impressive, but you must be packinâ something impressive if youâre doinâ this on your own.â Anita cocked her head to the side and eyed the girl across from her, wondering how someone so young managed to survive on her own while being an adventurer. Whatever skills she had in her possession, she was almost tempted to ask if she could gave a glimpse.
âDonât go sayinâ that now. Luffy loves a good fight, dependinâ on what his mood is. You catch him on a good day, and he might take you up on that offer.â The logic Yuna spun was sound, but it was a mite disappointing to hear that she wouldnât be getting a fight out of her fellow bear any time soon â short of asking for one, of course.
The threat elicited a response out of the older female. Leaning back in her seat, the brunette let out a hearty laugh.
âThat so? Ooooh, well â now you gotta prove it! Canât take you at your word when youâre tellinâ me youâre gonna crush me.â
Yuna put the pamphlets back in her dimensional box, leaving only Luffyâs pamphlet as she stared at it.
âLuffy the Straw Hat, huh...He really has a outrageous bounty but...â She looked at his innocent smile. âHe doesnât really seem like a bad person?â
âI heard a lot of rumors about him, though. About invading a prison, declaring war against a government, attacking some sort of aristocrat...Are those true?â Yuna asked out of curiosity. She wondered if he was the type who acted before thinking.
âAnd Iâm not fighting you, Iâve told you so. I only fight when thereâs something in it for me or when the person annoys me.â
Update
I know I promised I would be back last week but I was so busy that couldnât spare any time at all. And now that Iâm free I caught a fierce cold, welp--
At this point I think it can be called a semi-hiatus already, but by no means I intend to abandon Yuna. So I apologize and ask for patience.
Sorry again orz
I have disappeared lately, havenât I?
I will probably be gone until after Sunday. I will explain why:
Actually, itâs nothing negative or any trouble at all, itâs just that I began playing MapleStory 2. So yeah, I joined this guild, but the guild master is a spartan strict person and wants all the members to reach max level until Sunday or we will be kicked out, me included.
So Iâm grinding like crazy in my free time to the point Iâm burned out. One of the guild members was telling me how it was easy to reach max level within 4 hours. I have been playing for way more than that and I still have 8 levels to go?! So yeah, the bear will be hibernating until after Sunday. Sorry about that. I will try to reply to everything once I both reach the guildâs quota and have some free time!
Also, if any mutuals play MapleStory 2 on European server, please send me an IM so I can add you as friend!
Thatâs all, thanks for reading! Laters~!
"Ah!!! A bear!"
âA talking tanuki!?â
Like for a starter! (Length may vary)
@jakcby liked for a starter!
âYouâre............â Yuna kept staring at the strange humanoid creature. He didnât seem human, but he didnât seem a monster either. Was he the one responsible for the mysterious sightings which made the villagers afraid of?
âWho are you?â The bear decides to ask, approaching carefully.

âVivienne-chan is like a sister to Juvia. Weâre best friends but weâre not related by blood. But blood isnât the only thing that makes a family. Fairy Tail is a mage guild in the kingdom of Fiore and we always stick together and take care of each other. A few of us are blood related like the Strauss siblings, but most of us are just good friends who live together at the same guild and have grown close enough to consider each other a family. Do you have a family?â Juvia asked as she grew more curious about this girlâs past.Â
âFamily, huh...â Yuna paused and looked down. That was a sensitive topic to her. âI have parents but...I guess I canât consider them my family.â She replied honestly. âThe only one who treated me like a family was my grandfather.â
Pausing a bit, she continued.
âWell, Iâm really far away from them right now and I doubt Iâll ever see them again...â She gave a soft sigh. âThere are people I care for, though. But Iâm not sure if I would consider them a family, or if they would consider me a part of theirs...â

He yawned before sitting upright. Looks like he wasnât getting back to sleep anytime soon. At least, not until he got to a Center or something. What a shame. The bench was actually kinda comfy.
âMâ used to the cold,â he mumbled. That wasnât the point, Lucas. âI mean, uh. Iâm kind of a traveler? Twinleaf Townâs kinda far away from here, and I can always fly there. My point is, I donât want to be a bother-â
Yuna crossed her arms and sighed. âYouâll be a bother if you keep sleeping on benches! Plus, what if a pervert shows up? You should value yourself more.â
So the problem was that he was far away from a decent sleeping place? She could take care of that, then.
âCome here.â Yuna grabbed his hand and pulled him along with her until they arrived in a desert area from the nearby forest. âI normally donât do this, but I feel like if I leave you will return to that bench right away, so...â
She opened the mouth of her bear puppet-like glove. And then, she pulled out a house from it, placing on the ground. She opened the door and made a motion for him to come inside.
âThere are bedrooms inside. You can sleep there.â

Dripping from the wind and water that had blasted her on one side, the other had been warm, nestled up against the girl. She had relaxed her nerves in the run, first imaging that Chat Noir held her, simply because she knew he would not falter and drop her. But as it continued, she took note of the differences, but did not feel fear.
As she was let down, Marinetteâs gaze tried to take in the image all at once, but found herself looking at the wide entrance, up to the smaller second floor, back down to the shape of the first floor. Unique was a word for it. However, seeing the person who had saved her from the downpour, the bakerâs daughter couldnât say it was much of a surprise.
Walking in, Marinette glanced around, but found the girl beckoning to her. A small startle came from her as she pulled out things, blinking rapidly, before cautiously taking the clothing. Looking them over, they seemed to not be entirely bear-like, much like her host, but did seem to have a pattern of brown bears against the blue cloth. Smiling a little, the fabric was soft and warm, reassuring her.
Nodding some, she gently gripped the clothing, looking at her hands as she did so. âI mean, I have so many. Like, whatâs your name, and where are we.â Marinette began, calmer than she anticipated herself to be. But the kindness of the stranger seemed to help her ease. âBut, I know itâs better to change first. I canât thank you enough for this.â
Marinetteâs eyes lifted to meet with the girlâs, a smile gentle along her lips as she turned, heading towards the bath area. âWe⌠Weâll talk more once Iâm warmed up and changed, okay?â She didnât feel like a scared animal here. Perhaps it was all the other animal-esque motif that realized she at least wasnât alone.
Yuna nodded. âYes, donât worry. Once youâre back, Iâll try to answer as much as I can.â
Seeing the girl more relaxed, the bear also gave a relaxed smile. She wasnât good in comforting people, so she was glad she felt at least a bit better.
Once the girl left to the bath, Yuna began setting the table. She remembered the girl saying something about cookies, after all.
âI donât have cookies...â Yuna mumbled to herself. âMaybe sheâs alright with other types of sweets?â The bear contemplated, before pulling many types of food from her item bag.
Short cake, pudding, cheeseburger, pizza, cooked rice and fish. Of course, she was aware the girl wouldnât eat all that, but since she would probably be hungry and, Yuna herself was hungry as well, it would probably be enough.
Once everything was set, Yuna relaxed on the sofa, waiting for the girl to come back.
Otherworldly Pirate
devilslcgâ:
While they cut through the water, a small group of Straw Hats stood at the bow. Sanji stood amongst them, one hand shielding his eyes from the sun. He squinted, spotting the solid shape of an island in the distance. The one sitting in the crowâs nest had shouted down to them through Sunnyâs speakers that they were approaching land, but warned them ahead of time that it didnât look impressive. Luffy would be disappointed by the lack of adventure, but the cook was looking forward to hitting the market and perusing the produce.
But, the closer they drew, the more apparent the panic became.
The sounds grew louder, the voices clearer. Docking was easy, but no one seemed keen on leaving the ship when they were being shouted at to leave.
âDoesnât look like Iâll be gettinâ anything for dinner if theyâre gonna keep us from leaving the ship.â He sighed and exhaled a mouthful of smoke. âItâs not like we planned on hurtinâ them or anything. We just wanna restock and stretch our legs a little, geeze.â
Running towards the shore, Yuna could finally see the pirate ship better.
Cute...was a way to describe it. Rather, it was adorable. Still, it was a pirate ship. She had to keep alert.
As the villagers retreated, leaving things to the bear, Yuna approached and observed the members of the crew. There werenât many. That could make it look like they were weak, but that was the opposite.
People who had confidence to travel alone or in such few numbers had to be really strong.
Still, it was Yunaâs job to protect the village. Raising her voice, she finally called out to them.
âWho are you guys? Why are you here?âÂ
