These are the Mods I use in my game. Mostly these fix things, make things work better autonomously and/or create a functioning story progression. I do have a few that throw in cool things like extra types of parties, etc. You are responsible for the safety of your game. Make sure all Mods are up to date with the current patch before installing them. Always back up your game!

MC Command Center - For story progression and to fix some bugs with the game. I also use this to change the appearance of Sims on a lot that has more than eight Sims and to add and remove Sims from my lots with the sim_move command.
MC Woohoo - So that I can have same sex pregnancy, risky woohoo, autonomous woohoo, autonomous try for baby, etc.
What Mood Again? - I keep forgetting what incense, bath, tea, etc gives what mood. This mod displays what mood it will grant you when you select the item.

Slice of Life - It adds so much realism and random events to the game, I love it!
Life Decider Mod - For all of the babies I don’t care about in my legacy, alphabetacy, 100 baby challenge, and so on in hopes they will find a better life somewhere else.

Better Babies and Toddlers - Requires (Mood Pack Mod)
Education System Mod - Preschool, private school and more!
Passionate Romance Mod - Worth it for the in-game selfies you can take with romantic poses alone. The slow dance at weddings is just a plus.
Wear Uniforms - So you can wear rain slickers, school colors, aprons, etc on the fly.
