“Ne, Senpai. Was wondering if you and I could meet up, preferably alone? Dont get me wrong…I just wanted to talk to you about something privately.” Looks away so Ichika cant see the blood rushing to his face. “I was thinking you could possibly help me out…”

Tetsurou reeled back slightly from Ichika who,with her unconstrained excitement, continued closing the gap between them. It was as if every time she leaned in closer to Tetsurou the truth of whom he was talking about would suddenly be revealed. Tetsurou finally caved in, feeling cold sweat run down the back of his neck, still trying to downplay Ichika’s ecstatic mood. It only made him more nervous.

“I told Kai back at the end of the summer and I dont see why you cant know either. You see…Mio confessed to me when we took our trip to Okinawa.”

Tetsurou paused momentarily for a reaction from Ichika before trudging on.

“And during the time in the heat of distracting the search pods from you, when Mio and I were together, I asked her if she would go with me, without Kai and Kanna, to the movies.”

Tetsurou half relieved the truth was out, smiled “I dont think I told Kai about that part, yet. But..”

Tetsurou now feeling half stupid that it’s come to this, continued trying to smile the best he could “…I havent even followed up on that date with Mio. It’s not that I havent wanted to. It’s just I didnt think, at that time after every thing went down, the right moment came yet….Until now that is. I’ve got to do something. I want to do something. After all..” Tetsurou smiled more genuinely, something on his mind “She has been waiting for me.”

Ichika took a moment to digest all that was said to her, mainly for two reasons. She was completely oblivious to Mio’s feelings for Tetsurou, and had no idea of what was going behind the scenes—especially if it didn’t deal with Kaito. The news struck a fire of excitement within her, and the redhead squealed as her cheeks took to a fain stain of pink. Her eyes, too, seemed to sparkle.

“How romantic, Ishigaki-kun! Although, I had no idea.. that this was going on!”

Her words were quite sped up—an obvious sign that she was interested more than ever. Her hands, clasped together from before, were raised up to her chin. Her mouth agape, she began to fantasize about all the romantic possibilities that could happen between the potential love-birds.

“Why don’t you take her out for the movie, and then… out to dinner afterwards? That way, you and Kitahara-san can discuss the movie together! It won’t be awkward or anything! Neeeee, sugoiiiii! This is so exciting!”

"Heh.." Tetsurou grabbed the back of his head again, almost as if habit, flustered by Ichika's encouraging support. "I guess it is exciting, huh?"

Tetsurou than changed his facial features, his eyes reflecting a sudden thought, and dropped his hand back to his side slowly. "It's a new start,  I guess you could say. Thing is I also confessed to Kanna back in the summer..."

Tetsurou then smiled pitifully, as if the memory still ached him " Of course, at that time she rejected me. I knew it was going to happen. I was such an idiot for never being completely honest with myself, with her, or better yet...with anyone. Mio made sure to point that out."  Tetsurou let out a laugh, stuffing his fists into the pockets of his denim shorts, before letting his head hang back.  " Mio definitely saw right through me the whole time. Which is why, I want to make sure, no matter what, that I am honest...at least with her."  Tetsurou looked back down to meet Ichika's gaze, his eyes behind his thin framed glasses more sharp than before " I want to make sure my feelings for Mio are completely there for her...I dont want her to feel like she is runner up. Because she doesnt deserve that. Not at all."

Tetsurou's face than softened, a shy look taking place of his more serious gaze before " Just wish she would show up sometime so I could talk to her. By the way Takatsuki Senpai, has Kai been taking you out on dates yet? I told him to start acting like a man for you." Tetsurou asked, a genuine smile stretching on his lips.

“Nani..? Daijobu, Ishigaki-kun? Is everything alright?” Much to Tetsurou’s attempt of concealing his heated face, he succeeded and the redhead had missed it; thus became oblivious to the matter. With quite a bit of worry now taking place upon her features, Ichika closes in towards the lean male and gives a firm nod.“I’ll be glad to help out… but, what is it?” 

Tetsurou smiles nervously, waving off Ichika's innocent concern. "I'm fine. It's nothing big. Just something I thought I could talk to you about." As if he was nervous, Tetsurou absent mindedly rubs the back of his neck, letting his eyes drift away from Ichika's worried gaze that bore into him. "You seem someone reliable that could help me with this unlike where my Neechan would give me hell..."

Tetsurou paused to gather his wits, letting out a sigh knowing it was inevitable to not get to the subject, before smiling shyly at Ichika.  "Got any ideas what a girl would like to do on a first date?"

Gladly accepts glass of soda from Kaito before taking the drink all back at once. Tetsurou wipes his mouth with the back of his hand and then releases a heavy sigh before leaning back on his forearms and allowed his head to crane back to look up at the ceiling.  "It's about Mio. I dont know what do about Mio. We have a date coming up soon..."
