Ok so heavy, heavy trigger warning for the Vulture article about Neil Gaiman. It goes into explicate detail at some points, including exactly what he did and said and itâs extremely triggering.

Hello! Just came here to say that I love what you're doing with the information provided here, but the theme seems to be glitched on mobile? Part of the left sidebar is hidden as if the page is zoomed in, and I can't scroll down to see the lower parts on the sidebar.
One of the reasons this project went static was because we Tumblr kept deleting our posts/lists/links/themes all the time. We spent a lot of time re-arranging everything each time only for it to be misplaced or deleted the following week.
Even the lists stopped with the updates (because the character limit kept glitching or something and I tried to separate them as much as I could)
Nowadays I posts DMs with questions or heads-up, thanks for tagging along and the patience/understanding.
Someday everything will get better, more comprehensive and easy to browse (I also want to translate the lists once it's done, a lot of people in non-anglophones countries couls use this resource).
Meanwhile, I'll keep the lighthouse on (but running on low batteries).
Thanks for the heads up!
Hi ! just a head's up that your latest reblog (egg) might not have been planned for this blog (isitconsensual) ^^
Thank you so much!
Can i ask about Good Omens? (I do know that Sandman has an arc involving R so im worried to watch the other series,,,)
Any comments?
There are some really helpful websites (and tumblr blogs!) that are great for checking potential triggers in movies, tv shows and other media!
https://www.doesthedogdie.com/ is probably the most popular one - you type in the title of the book/movie/tv show/etc and it shows all the possible triggers it contains. It's very intuitive and easy to navigate.
@thiscouldbetriggering is a great tumblr-based resource, and it features a page with links to other similar websites/tumblr blogs, such as @isitconsensual and @istheresuicideinit (the latter hasn't been updated in 2 years, but it's still very useful for checking older media).
I couldn't help but notice that other ask about triggers in Secrets of Playboy, so I thought I'd share some resources that have been helpful for me! âĄ
extremely, extremely useful ! thank you !!
The list have not been updated, but you can send asks about new shows or movies and I'll try my best to post it!

Hello! I canât give specifics because I refuse to go back and watch again but in the first season of Star Trek Discovery itâs implied that one of the male characters is SAâd and then weâre shown flashbacks of it. I had no idea it was coming and almost stopped watching entirely, but the flashbacks happen throughout the season. Itâs a spoiler but if it helps itâs later revealed it was consensual but that his memories were altered. Itâs still incredibly triggering. But I saw it wasnât listed.
Thank you for your addition!
âThe world is horrible and no one will ever accommodate for your triggers outside of the internet so you have to suck it upâ
The museum we went to yesterday had a sensory room, with a sign specifically stating it was for people with disabilities/sensory issues. It was a quiet room with dim lighting and a few Stim toys
It also had several new signs warning for loud noises, flashing lights, and âdisturbing imageryâ at the entrances to exhibits
Iâve had friends that have told me point blank âdonât watch this, it has (XYZ) in itâ because they knew I was looking into new movies to watch
Someone, on their own time, created an entire WEBSITE dedicated to warning other for potentially disturbing content in media. And other people contribute to it, for complete strangers to use
Iâve seen people take a different path while walking because one had a big spiderweb and someone with them was scared of spiders
So like⊠yeah the world can suck and having triggers can suck (and this post isnât saying âexpect everyone to accommodate you alwaysâ before anyone starts that shit, this is a happy post) but also??? Sometimes the world is good
This blog informs about instances of sexual violence in media. If this is useful for anyone, here are our lists.
Helluva Boss has a creepy onesideness relationship with one of itâs main pairing, a main character almost gets gang raped as a joke in episode 3 and a strangling scene in episode 5 was indirectly confirmed to look like non-con from the storyboard artist that made that scene in a fetishizing way on twitter
Thanks, anon!
Is arcane safe?
Anyone?

I hope this is helpful and not like rude? But I saw the post asking about The Ninth House and thereâs a book app called StoryGraph and theyâre really good about putting trigger warnings up for books and like how graphic it is!
This is a really useful tool! Thanks !
-Agos
For those asking about The Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo: yes, there are a few scenes with graphic non-consentual events, including one instance with a minor, so please be warned!
Thanks!

Fear street part 3 (1666) shows explicit SA (and maybe it also implies R, not sure). SPOILERS:
It happens when the villagers caught Hannah.
It takes a lot of seconds and it's pretty explicit 'they are searching for the Devil's mark' or something like that. After that, she is shown in distress but it's not addressed.
Does anyone know if there's anything non-consensual in Young Royals? A new Netflix series. Thank you
Any info?

For Way of the House Husband: There's a brief scene where the main character mistakenly walks into a women's changing room and panics in his typical way with the implication being that he's worried the women he's with think he did it with the purpose of sexual harassment, but that's it.
For the other ask
Everyone has been tooting Black Sailâs horn, but I remember season 1 had a lot of (and graphic) R in it and it has kept me from watching more of the show. The hype makes me consider starting it from season 2, but Iâm not sure if itâs safe?
Anyone?
Hi! I was thinking of watching âThe Way of the Househusbandâ on Netflix, and wondering if there were any mentions of sexual mistreatment, implied or otherwise. Iâm really not trying to take my chances. Thanks in advance đ€
Anyone?
Hi, Iâve been considering watching Tokyo ghoul and I noticed on the list it said there was implied CSA. Iâm sorry if this is an inappropriate question, but is it implied visually or verbally and is it frequently brought up throughout the show? Iâm sorry, but my triggers are specific in this context and I really donât think I am in a strong enough mental state to handle being triggered again.
Anyone can answer this on this post?
it is implied visually in one scene. you can skip it in the anime, but that makes the way the anime handled it seem more tacked onto the character because the manga mentioned it; in the manga it is also only visually implied in one scene, but has repercussions and, while not dwelt on, the implicated experience is a more integral part of the character and reframes several choices the character makes. overall the character is treated a bit better by the manga, although obviously i understand why someone would choose the option that allows them to skip implied csa. i don't remember it ever being addressed verbally.
