I kinda sped ran these pages mainly because my AU has been consuming my brain a lot lately! It's really been giving me motivation now that I have a clear timeline of events as well! I'll be posting the comic pages on groups of three, atleast for chapter one! How many I release per update depends on how many total pages will be for the chapter! OH!!! If anyone wants to make like art and stuff, I'll make a master post of references one day! Only if someone asks tho since some character refs are still in WIP!

26. When I'm designing a character, I often think about how I can make it look cute/appealing and easy for me to animate later on. So finding that balance was a challenge, to say the least.

28. Yes, that's the plan at least. Are they necessary? Not really, but let's say you could miss out on them if you're not careful.

29. He is nice to vulnerable people, yes. But he probably wouldn't do what he did for ALL vulnerable people, just a select few.

30. Patrick built his library by eating out the insides, hollowing it out. PomPom isn't southern, and the accent is fake. Pompy is VERY indecisive, and he hates it.

31. I wanted to dip my toe into making a mascot horror game for years now. The idea of Pompy came to me on my own, but it took me years to actually go ahead and work on it.

32. Pompy for sure. He was able to break the game simply by going off script. He is a dangerous character to exist, but Light Thoughts can't afford to get rid of him.

3. I'm sure I've said it publicly somewhere, but just in case, the full game takes place 4 years in the future after the events of the demo, making it a sequel.

4. For the longest time, I wanted Sarah's death to be blunt force trauma. A brick/cinderblock felt the most appropriate, and they're pretty easy to find. So that's why.

6. There's no confirmed release date yet. I say you will learn a bit more about Light Thoughts, but nothing too specific.

7. Well, tbh, it didn't mean anything at first. But I've been interpreting it as "you kept playing the game, now you must suffer the consequence of seeing us hurt."

SLENDERMAN REDESIGN

I was watching a Chazington video on creepypasta movies, and I remembered the Slender Man 2018 movie and also remembered how much I kinda vibed with the design.

The thought of Slenderman being almost wood-looking was a neat choice, so I leaned HEAVY into that when designing this.

I also forgot about the tentacles, but my friend suggested he instead uses his sap as like, traps (???). So I'm going with that for now.

Everyone had an Angsty Season

Did anyone else notice that each of the 5 main characters from Stranger Things had their moment of angst and overall depression each season of the show?

STRANGER THINGS - SEASON 1

Not sure if this would count because it was early and more so a proof of concept season, but I would say Lucas has gotten a bit of angst later in the season when he notices Eleven sabotaging the crew's plan to find the gate and inevitably choosing to leave the party (temporarily).

STRANGER THINGS - SEASON 2

This is when I start to really notice it, but my boy Mike was just not having it that season! My poor boy lost his girl and constantly pushes aside Max from the party. But at least he was still a good friend to Will. Still, I don't know how Max would've ever forgiven him for that.

STRANGER THINGS - SEASON 3

This one felt very sidelined, but Will definitely had a rough one this season (well, really all the seasons) just because this was the season we got some confirmation of his gay awakening. He just wanted to chill with his friends, but, like the plot, he was pushed to the side by Mike and Lucas and couldn't take it anymore. Destroying castle byers in the process.

STRANGER THINGS - SEASON 4

I feel like this one should be obvious, but Max had it roooough this season due to the death of Billy. How can you peacefully mourn the loss of your (rather shitty) brother when he was straight up killed by an organ monster, and you're being hunted down by an even grosser monster! It was even sadder seeing Lucas trying to cheer her up to absolute failure (most times).

STRANGER THINGS - SEASON 5

Now for the character that I honestly didn't expect to ever see be in their angsty arc, Dustin. Bro started out as a charming kid who just loved hanging around his friends, only to ultimately lose one of the best characters in the last season. We'll see how long it lasts for this season, but we already know that ever since Eddie's death, Dustin was not gonna be the same for a long time.

This is a rather simple post and probably my longest. I love this show, so I just wanted to share my thoughts on this. Did anyone else notice this, or does anyone have different thoughts on the topic? let me know wweeeeeee
