Lovewinsgate Wiki Time!

I have thought to myself over and over again: hey, wouldn't it be cool to have a place where at least the most popular CG theories are documented as a reference + making it easier to start with CG?

So, I made a wiki. We don't talk about my first attempt but now I'm ready to make this a thing. Of course, wikis live off of contribution so I need as much help I can get. If you want to add ANY theory to it, head over to this page I made and fill out a few questions (you need to write up something about the theory)

note: right now the wiki lives in a partition of my personal website on neocities. Not really a problem. I might try making it its own thing if people actually use it but yknow for now this works well

There's no other explanation for it moving various landmarks than it being a "living map" as a mobius strip circuit board or something like a cylinderical shaped hour glass that's relative to where the "lab" may be at any given time. theoretical science stuff makes me crazy because it breaks my brain but this is so neat and would explain why everything keeps moving.

Mr Clarke explaining how this works using a piece of paper in the Flea and Acrobat episode. Ive long thought the lab is using Heimdall-tech of the asgardian bridge. So who knows. What if you could make it compacted so it fits in an eyeball?

Rockie Kiss feat. Tammy (incl. Byler)

Before you ask what a weird constellation that is - I didn't came up with it, blame the Duffers. But this scene includes literally everything and it won't stop getting weirder and weirder. Maybe it even has another ship by chance... And Eddie's there too.

Season 4/5 - First Rerun

The principal announces Tammy Thompson to sing the national anthem, at the same time Lucas inserts the tape saying "For Max" and Kate Bush starts singing at the hospital. You could say, the absolute anthem of the show. Still at the hospital Will sees Robin after getting himself a coke, calling her "Rockin' Robin," another reference to music.

Just the moment Tammy starts singing, Robin enters the room Vickie is in. Spoiler ahead, Tammy will stop her song exactly when Robin leaves the room again - so it's the same duration. The first thing we see Vickie do is throwing away a bouquet of flowers, consisting of yellow and purple ones.

But wait a minute, we've seen all of this before, right? At the airport Mike's flight got announced, just like Tammy who traveled a far way to Hawkins. In the back we see a Coke sign and Mike has yellow and purple flowers with him too. I can imagine them landing in the trash after El read that "From Mike" sign. Noice!

But yeah... the same freakin' scene?

We'll get a Rockie conversation in both scenes now. At school Robin talks about her massive crush on Tammy and at the hospital she has to reschedule her date wit Vickie. Funny thing, Vickie wears a hat in both scenes. (Funnier thing, Mike suddenly wears one at the airport too.)

When Will spots the two of them at the hospital the camera at school changes back to Tammy and then switches to Lucas, who's suddenly turning around, looking surprised and getting wide eyes. Just like Will, who drop's his Coke. But what am I seeing behind Lucas there? A Coke sign?? Oh holy shit, is that Chance?! Hell, I'm so confused, I have no idea what's going on here. All I know, Lucas is at the hospital too, so maybe it's hinting on Lucas accidentally walking in on someone, not Will... Tell me, did I just witness Chance as Will's Tammy? (⊙_⊙)？

After Will dropped the Coke Robin follows him into the hallway. On the other screen does not only Tammy's song end, but Mike enters the hallway too. Same movement, camera angle, timing, everything... They even look like one person for a split second. Very creepy. Mike's still on screen when we see Will running away. Both scene's have someone else enter the screen simultaneously too. So it's definitely about Mike and Will at this point.

The scene's evolve into Dustin walking in his Hellfire shirt in both scenes. While S5 Dustin looks at Eddie's gravestone, saying "BURN IN HELL" this gets commented by Eddie himself, saying "Absolutely not." I agree, please don't do that Eddie.

Great moment to stop the sync and look at some aspects. I still understand less things than I would like to, but I'm pretty sure it's not about Rockie itself. Vickie gets used as Robin's Tammy, but I'm pretty certain it's somehow about Byler and "Tammy" is used in a negative context here.

I guess I should sync it to the airport scene, there are more connections than the already mentioned. For example, the scenes are about the same length and a lot of things happen simultaneously, like people walking a corridor, including Mike. Maybe we could learn more from it. Do you wanna see that?

Comagate: a deal with god

How Mike Wheeler has been in a coma since season 1 and believes the dreamscape he’s trapped in is actually his reality despite the many inconsistencies in it. starting with Max the one who he swapped places with in his reality.

Mike and Max are two characters who are consistently paralleled to each other. despite their constant bickering they have a very close bond which could be described as sibling like in season 4 we see Max often at the Wheeler’s house showing the closeness between the two. on top of that they also have similar struggles although this is something that few pick on it such as them both getting C’s in season 4 which imply issues with mental health as pointed out by Miss Kelly. Mike and Max are two very similar characters.

What happens when Max is in a coma, what does it mean for Mike?

We see both of them in hospital gowns while Max is in her bed Mike is walking around the hospital accompanied by Nancy it’s almost as if he’s stepping out of his own body experiencing freedom unbeknownst to his reality.

In Mike’s reality Max is the one who ends up in a coma “if I only could make a deal with god I’d get him to swap our places” which represents the way their fates are swapped in Mike’s two worlds his reality and his dream scape.

The song running up that hill is used to show Max’s grief and survivors guilt in the dream scape it represents her feelings towards Billy who she loses in a supposed “mall fire”. Billy short for William a name meaning “resolute protector” the role that Mike the “heart” plays in his dreamscape and in the real world until his accident. perhaps this means that the guilt that Max feels towards Billy in the dream scape is how she feels about Mike in the real world another example of Mike swapping places with someone.

The Mike we see walking around the hospital is actually Max in the real world since we see things through Mike’s lenses we believe his perspective is the truth despite it being the dream scape world. Mike walks around the hospital in a gown while in the real world it’s his body who is lying there. his consciousness is living in some sort of dream scape or Camazotz between what’s real and what’s not.

Which means that

Dreamscape Max is real world Mike

Real world Mike is dreamscape Max

Dreamscape Max’s feelings towards “Billy” are what she feels towards real world Mike.

September 8th 1979 - The Day of the Hawkins Lab Massacre and Lonnie leaving his Family

According to the theory that the massacre is an interpretation for the events leading to Lonnie leaving his family (both the same year/date) the following scene's just feeding that theory. It happened prior to the events from my last post and gave me new ideas oh what might've happened that day. Was Lonnie actually trying to kidnap Will?

Will's using his powers to spy on Vecna, looking through the eyes of other children. When he says that he's Derek (wearing a rainbow shirt) the camera lands on 010 sitting in the rainbow room. Derek's with the other lost children, just like 010. Will's looking through his eyes.

Papa takes 010 for some lessons, they meet 006 and Dr. Ellis on their way. Derek's speaking about Max at that time. Wait, where's the connection, 006 and Max look nothing alike? Well, they do - in the comics.

Now for the interesting part, Papa starts the experiments with 010 where's supposed to visualize what Papa's drawing with the crayon. A yellow one. Holly's looking at the memory of her mother getting attacked, scared and wondering why she just stood there.

@nightnut reminded me that Will got crayons for his 8th birthday, which was 1979, so the same year that Lonnie left the family. If we can trust the new official book his birthday was in August, so even closer to September. Either way, he would have crayons at home and his father (Papa) would be home too before he left (obviously). Plus, yellow is Will's color. It seems like Will's remembering that traumatic day here, just before things escalated. I don't know how much Holly's memory's bleeding into this, but it's possible Lonnie hurt Joyce that day and took Will with him forcefully.

Papa's drawing a dog that looks like a cow, Holly says the exit doesn't look like one. When Papa says it's supposed to be a dog the exit closes for Max and Holly. Like he took their escape route. Unlike Will, Brenner's not much of an artist.

Brenner tells 010 to look for Dr. Ellis and 006. He finds them and says they're screaming, just like Holly and Max. The he confirms they're dead the moment Max is dying. (Little sidetrack: in the 3 Timelines Version we see El, who's unassumingly dead at that point, at the same time. Dr. Ellis = El and 006= Max.)

Will finally attacks Vecna and he falls to the ground, just like Brenner who gets hit by a randomly flying door.

↪ I took another look at the scene where Joyce reminded Will of the crayons and guess what's the first thing Jonathan was talking about right after? The day their dad left. Even rainbows were mentioned again. Rainbows are often used as a metaphor for queerness during the show and the one's I found the most during my sync analyses were the rainbow room and Derek. Both appear here too.

So yes, I think it's another puzzle piece for the theory that Lonnie left his family on that exact day because he found out his son is gay. Right now I think it's more likely that he hit Joyce than the other way around. If he actually kidnapped Will that day (or was trying to) it could explain why Jonathan was searching for his brother in Lonnie's car trunk immediately - because it wasn't be the first time. Joyce wouldn't have known since she was knocked out.

I know this scene contains way more information than I'm talking about, but the thing is - I don't understand. It's so much, so woven. I need to focus on other scenes first, maybe I'll learn to understand it then. The most confusing part is that I have 2 scenes connecting the massacre to November 6th and I don't know how that adds up. My idea is that it's a metaphor for someone else in that case, maybe for Mike or Nancy, but I just don't know it right now. God, my head hurts. Guess I'll need to write something about Byler very soon.

The Final Battle Against Vecna - Another Episode

A while ago I synced "Sorcerer" with "The Piggyback" because @demomorgan noticed some heavy parallels between the final battles. Well, it turned out to be another amazing episode of the last fight against Vecna. Whoops.

I never shared it here because I don't know how it'll fit into my other Syncs yet, but I assume it's the 3rd Season 4/5 Rerun. Don't pin me down on it, I'm better with nouns than with numbers.

Reading @nightnut last post about Eddie/Will I decided to post about it now and share some key details. I'll add an clip about it (incl. Elmax/Byler) at the end.

The Interesting Parts

The car group talks about losing signals when El starts talking to Mike, but when he tries the damn pineapple pizza the signals are strong. O-kay.

Max and Holly meet at the X while Max is still at the Creel house (the biggest X possible).

El is in Max’ memories, but Max is in Henry’s memories at the time. A memory within a memory. She found her in Camazotz / the rainbow room.

If the snowball’s not about Max, why are we here at all? It’s the place all of this started.

Vecna = shadow / wall

Like the prison in Russia the Mac Z is designed to trap monsters (and save kids?) 

Eddie/Will felt anger close to the hive while they were protecting Dustin/Joyce (who are both 5' 3").

When Max was in the mind lair for the second time she couldn’t leave because the music suddenly stopped. Jason broke the recorder.

El cried so hard in S4 it hit S5 Mike in the face. Lol.

Hop helped El to free from the vines, Mike did what he was afraid of - hurt himself.

The battle itself is very on point. 

Mike and the sword share 10 seconds of screen time (wohoo), meanwhile Will and Vecna both suffer from flames during the final attack against him.

Vecna disappears in S4 and arrives at the Mac Z seconds after.

Eddie dies while lying in Dustin's arms, Will’s lying in Joyce’s arms. Max died at the same time as the brutally killed soldier.

The floor breaks when Vecna takes Will (and the kids). When we see the X Vecna says to Will “You were the first.” (We have X = lie and a soundtrack named "The First Lie…” Does this connect?)

Elmax/Byler memories: “You/I had all the answers,” deciding between Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, against the rules and having own rules…

Reporter talking about the people “Eddie” killed (they know about 3) and Will killing 3 demos the same way, creepy.

Sorcerer ends because Ted turns off the TV. FU Ted.

If those aren't heavy parallels I don't know either. 👀

No for real, those are probably my favorite Elmax/Byler parallels ever, no idea how i forgot about them. And yeah, today I learned to definitely pay more attention to Eddie/Will because what the actual hell?!?

BTW I made this sync months ago, just like most of the notes, I could probably see more or different things in it by now.
