"Who wouldn’t miss someone almost as fashionable as I am?"
"Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Now THAT'S how you greet someone after being away for so long! You could teach the rest of these people a thing or two."
❝I don’t know you, unfortunately, so I can’t say that me being lonely or not would be under your sort of influence… but… Welcome back.❞
"Haaah? A stranger welcoming me? How nice of you, Fedora-kun."
"Of course! I thought my heart might break with your absence."
"Truly, partner? My heart is fluttering!"
"Da da dadaaaaa! Mukami Kou makes his return! ~ Were you all lonely without my company? Ufuufu."

”Ohhhh,” he says, eyes widening as if he’s just had a huge realization— as if he suddenly remembers who the person in front of him is (which he doesn’t, just so you know. He’s never heard of this guy at all, actually, but he’ll play the part).
If he’s supposed to be an idol, then Oikawa supposes that he can humor him. After all, if this person were actually an idol, then he certainly would have heard of him, right? Whoever this “Mukami Kou” is supposed to be is definitely going over his head, but.. well, he doesn’t have to know that.
Smiling, he takes a few steps back from the bench, tilting his head as he observes the other through half-lidded eyes, before his smile suddenly widens into a grin. "Wow! I’d never have known someone like you would show up here, too! I would ask for an autograph, buuuut… we’re going to be stuck here together for a while— or so it seems— so I guess there’d be no real point if I’ll see you every now and then anyway.”
He hopes that doesn’t come off as an insult, but even when pretending, Oikawa can only flatter someone else so much. He has to leave room for himself, naturally— no, just kidding, but still. There’s something about this guy that he doesn’t exactly like, even though he can’t place it yet. Maybe it’s his whole personality.
He decides to ignore the part about women (because, ha, whatever. This isn’t a competition, you know, so he won’t say anything), looking left, right, and then back to Kou. "Do you know anyone else here yet? I figure you’d have made friends by now since you’re an idol and all.. am I right? Well, if so, I’m a bit jealous.. Aside from my ‘partner,’ I guess I haven’t met many other people up to my standards.. You might be an exception, though— but who knows?" Ambiguity is key; people will walk away if you’re boring, after all.
Listening to him speak Kou looked amused and delighted at his compliments, but even just by listening he could tell there was a distinct lack of truth to them. He was a human, after all. It wasn't like this was surprising, but it did make him feel a ping of annoyance in his chest that luckily never made it to his facial expression. His acting was only slightly impressive, it could use work.
"Hm? No, sorry! I know my two brothers, but that's it. Sorry to disappoint. ~"
That idol comment would be dismissed, it was awfully apparent this tall and oddly dressed guy didn't know anything about fame.
"I'm positive you'll find some others soon if you look, yes? You found me, after all. That's a start. You seem sociable enough? Surely it won't be difficult for you to make bonds with the people around here."
Of course, he didn't mean that, but who knows? Maybe his fake outside will fool some of the idiots at this facility. Humans are gullible creatures, easy to trick and fool around with. There was something about the brunette that made Kou believe he was after fooling a lot of people into thinking he was pure and wonderful.
It wasn't like he was completely innocent himself, but he doesn't truly believe he's much of anything. This person, on the other hand, thinks he's something hot. How very wrong he was. So wrong that it was almost laughable.
"Anyways! ~" He chuckled, waving a hand. "What was your name again? I don't think you told me."

The response to her question had Takane’s eyebrows raising the slightest, one of them maybe twitching a little. Who did this guy think he was, telling her how to speak? She already had one person like that in her life, without her consent too, she sure as hell didn’t need two.
"I was asking if you needed something, there wasn’t anything rude about it," Takane replies, tone flat, clearly implying she had no intention to apologize, as her arms cross over her chest. Now he should definitely be the one apologizing, considering how rudely he was invading her personal space.
Honestly.
"I don’t know what it is, but if you’re here, then you probably have one too. You should already know," she answers curtly, "Did you need something?" She asks yet again, lips curling into a frown.
It wasn't cold, but there was quite the chill coming from this girl. It only made things more interesting, since it wasn't every day a girl could resist his pearly white idol smile, or his long flowing blond hair that almost sparkled under the rays sun. He was beautiful, you know. At least to others.
His eyes dropped to his own wrist, moving some of his bracelets away to see the mark that was there and matching hers. What kind of joke was this? A reminder that he's connected to a human..Was it even necessary?!
Aggravating.
Regardless, he shook the annoyed look off of his face and replaced it with his smirk.
"Ho~ho! You're not a very lively girl, are you? That's dull. Have you ever considered smiling and looking more friendly? Especially since I was so kind to you!"
There was still nothing that stood out about her other than the fact she was unlike most girls he's met.The more annoyed she became, the more fun the situation was. So, with that, he decided to stick around a little longer to tease her. It couldn't hurt, right? ~
OK SO this picture… I can.. explain. Hahah I’m actually a frequent roleplayer on multi-fandom rps here on Tumblr! (x) .. It’s fun to see tons of different characters from all over interacting. Sometimes crack parings happen. This is one of them. I’m not in this one, but I like it, so I thought I’d help it out a little by giving it some art!
Of course that was how Kou was going to take things. It was always like this. The eldest would be lying if he ever said he didn’t envy that carefree attitude of his younger siblings. To not worry about a thing, to not feel so responsible and look after all his siblings, to be the head of the Mukami family, only up to his imagination it was a life which he had nothing of the sort.
Oh, but he liked it. It was in his blood after all, to be at the top and order people around. An aristocrat at heart he was, even after everything. That was why, before Kou’s cheerful behavior… Well, unaware of their current situation and whether the Eve Project was still going on, maybe…
A weak smile. “It is best if we explore this place the more we can if we are to stay here for however long. I could use some tea as well."
It was a relief to see Ruki smile, even if it was only slight. The bonds Kou had with his three brothers were strong ones, despite not even being related by blood. He most certainly doesn't like seeing them in distress or discomfort. Or at least not Ruki and Azusa. Yuma-kun was fun to tease, however. ~
The blond smiled with his fangs baring.
"That's the spirit! They might have some delicious things here. You never know! Not that Ruki-kun can't make the most boring foods into something amazing. ~ "
A little sucking up never hurt anyone, right? Yes, this would flatter Ruki so much that he'd have no other choice but to make him his favorite dish! A mental pat on the back for the local genius boy, Kou Mukami!
1/28 - Happy Birthday, Kou! (Art by Satoi)
heroine ; closed ; takane
Takane’s come to the conclusion, despite the fact she’d been told it pirior to this, that you really can’t scratch the mark off. Or rub it off. Or wash it off. Or.. or get it off in any other way. It was like a tattoo, or something. How annoying, honestly.
Her expression was only more sour than usual, fingers yanking at the sleeve of her cardigan to tug it over her wrist to hide the mark from her vision. It’d be easier to ignore it if she couldn’t see it— maybe not the stupid emotions that came with it, but other than that. Not like the guy she was connected to, by force, felt anything other than unpleasant emotions anyways.
The sudden voice from behind her had the brunette’s head turning expression smoothed out a bit in surprise, brown eyes blinking a few times at the greeting, “Can I help you..?”
She looked grumpy and tired, not at all the beautiful radiant girl he thought she'd end up being..~ And what a rude thing to say! Just who did this dwarf think she was, anyway? Not even the slightest blush on her cheeks! Obviously she had no idea she was speaking to an idol.
"That isn't a nice way to greet a stranger. ~ You should apologize to me."
The blond leaned down so he was closer, looking over her shoulder at the now covered wrist she was previously gawking at with his head tilted in fake curiosity. "What was that, then? A tattoo? Are you the rebellious type of girl? Ufufu."
YAHOO! I hope you had a ha~ppy birthday, Subaru-kun! You deserve it after all! High five!
—Seriously? What in the fuck?
"Tchh… the fuck do you think you are, hah? Get lost!"

It doesn’t take Oikawa very long to discover a very important realization: despite all the effort he’s put into his volleyball skills up until this point, they’re all now going to go to waste. Sure, the gym exists, and it’s not like he can’t just work out there, but he finds it hard to believe he should even bother in training for anything when all of his hard work is practically useless (and to top that off, volleyball’s been his focus for so long that he doesn’t even have many other hobbies).
For some reason, though, he finds himself spending a good part of his day there anyway, until his frustration (that he had been trying to work off) overwhelms him and he decides it’s time for a break. It doesn’t take him long before he finds someone… sort of interesting to distract himself with, and once he does, Oikawa doesn’t hesitate to wander over to the guy on the nearby bench.
”Blocking your light? Well, sorry,” he says, without any intentions to move. “I just thought that you looked somewhat familiar for some reason.. But it might be my mind playing tricks on me. Oh well! Either way, it gives me an excuse to make friends, doesn’t it?” He smiles, extending a hand now. "Your name?"
This guy..was he serious? Just waltzing up to someone like Kou with such confidence and a suspicious look in his eyes..It was enough to make his chest curl with annoyed feelings, but the idol quickly hid it under a friendly smile. He was unknown, so there wasn't a guarantee that he couldn't provide him with some sort of information about this facility, so he'll be nice for the sake of that.
He looked interesting, so why not find out more and play around a little? He could make a fun toy.
"Familiar? Hehe, you've probably heard of me." Of course he looked familiar, he was a famous idol! What an insult...This was an exhausting person already.
Regardless, the blond stood up and rose a hand to the sky, bringing it back down to his now grinning mouth. There was no hint of any sort of displeasure on his face, despite his feelings earlier. "Mu~Kam~i Kou! I'm a popular idol, you know. ~ A notorious stealer of women's hearts."
Diabolik Lovers - Kou Mukami
"Shove it, Kou, it sounded dumb as hell." It all sounded like complete bullshit. Well, he would be a little more eager to believe his elder if Yuma himself paid attention to opening announcements. Or the mark on his wrist.
"No, Ruki wouldn’t make shit up like that… … .. Damn it, we’re really in this fuckin’ mess again?" This is too similar to the orphanage, he felt. Too similar. On second thought, Azusa was safer outside. "Fuck. Fuck, I ain’t dealin’ with bein’ anyone’s little pet rat.”
"Mm, hey! There isn't a use in just sitting around and doing nothing. We should explore the grounds and see if we can find anything that can tell us about this situation, yeah? That sounds like something we should do, right right?"
He had a smile on his face, like he was expecting praise for the idea he had just come up with even though he knew perfectly well he wasn't going to get it from Yuma especially. Ruki-kun would think this as a good idea, he thought. Kou could almost hear Ruki himself suggest it in his head. It was aggravating to be here, but having his brothers made him feel somewhat at ease.
"Plus, I don't want to see Yuma-kun cry because of this...ufufu. ~"

Mismatched colored eyes glanced to the back of a short brunette who was completely distracted with the mark around her wrist. Despite there being a few other bodies moving around them, he was instantly drawn to her. It was strange, and aggravating. What was it about her that interested him? To feel something like this over a human..It was enough to make him sick.
"Hey. ~" A short and sweet greeting left his mouth as he moved towards her with confidence, lips curled into a smirk that couldn't be trusted. There was always the chance she was a fan and this would get simple and routine for him. That'd make it much easier for him to figure out what about her was pulling him in.

His legs were beginning to tire from walking around the grounds. Or maybe they weren't exactly tiring, but he was just getting bored with what he was finding and needed an excuse to stop. This facility was so dull.
Honestly, why were there so many places to go to, and why was he so interested in all of them? Curiosity most definitely killed the cat. This was getting more of a hassle than an adventure for knowledge, not that he was getting much in that department anyway.
"Ugh..How very lame. Not a single interesting thing." He sat himself on a bench that was a lot harder than he expected it to be and leaned his head back to look at the sky.
A shadow suddenly fell over him which directed his attention back down to earth. Standing in front of him was a tall boy with brown hair that matched his eyes. He smelt like a mix of cologne and sweat, much to Kou's annoyance.
"..Hey, what do you want? You're blocking my light."
