On April 12-13 2014, over 9,000 people around the world will participate in the galaxy's largest mass collaboration ever - the NASA International Space Apps Challenge. More than 9,000 hackers, designers, and explorers from cities and from all the world will participate.  The Challenge exemplifies the principles of transparency, participation and collaboration by utilizing openly available data, supplied through NASA missions and technology, and the talent and skill of passionate volunteers from around the planet to advance space exploration and improve the quality of life on Earth. ISS Global Connect is building on one of the pre-selected solutions from 2013, iSpot it!.
