Im STILL trying to find my footing with this new shading and line-art style ive been trying out. here you can kinda see im still getting used to it

Here you can see the invader zim style REALLY shining (which i did on purpose). Whenever i was initially trying to figure out how to draw him i was practicing his head shape and it reminded me of how the head shapes jhonen vasquez has in his art. that factor paired with the fact battat has 3 fingers meant my battat drawings were just straight up going to be in the invader zim artstyle lmao. there are some deviations but. still very jhonen vasqu-esque.
im actually really proud of this one. in the other ones id been playing around with shading using more than one color (the brush ive been using allows me to use just the base color for shading. think of how you'd shade with colored pencils or a regular pencil)
anyways i channeled that practice into this one. im very happy with how this one turned out! ^^
