Been thinking about the loaded die thing and how it effects Battat's physical health. Imagine it hurts to spin him around. Imagine Pluey hears that Pippins NEED to be spun frequently for mental health, innocently spins Battat's head, only to hear the most bloodcurdling scream.

Imagine its so loud it causes everyone to go over because it sounded like a dying dog. Imagine Battat struggling to explain things (for once) and the other Pippins having to step in. Imagine how that changes how he's treated in the TV studio. Can't gamble, can't spin, can't roll more then a 1, and even then it gives him physical pain. Permanently fucked up in the head due to being deprived of basic Pippin needs. Responsible and hard-working because that's ALL he has.

OH ABSOLUTELY!!! IT HURTS but i think of it more like a migraine and a wave of nausea than bloodcurdling scream worthy (however i feel like getting shaking with a migraine could probably lead to it rather quick)

There are also weights in his feet

A personal hc of mine is that pippinses can jump rather high and run a decent pace (dice being thrown and going across a table and straight for the floor before you can grab 'em type of deal), those weights in his feet take that away from him fast (he can't walk for a while after getting loaded, its dizzying and his feet hurt, let him sit down)

So he can't jump OR run with the other pippinses either! The whole loading messes him up in every way!

I like to think it's a well known secret among pippinses, what happened with battat, and that the other TV World-ers definitely don't know (he keeps it from Jongler and Pluey especially)

So them running in and him needing to explain the whole ordeal embarrasses him bad, honestly, he's mortified when the other pippinses tell everyone instead of him being able to, makes him want to hide for a while<3

Some! I hate a lot of fabrics in the You’ll Find A Shirt In The Women’s Section Made From This Category (mostly sheer knits and the like), also I’m not sure if its a texture thing or what but I REALLY HATE those reversible-sequin things you find all over the place. Don’t like em, no sir

Also, as stated previously, I don’t like the texture of cooked barley, dry is fine tho

Also any kind of like….. wet waxiness? Like the residue left after you drip hot wax on something and wipe it up? That kind of thing

A lot of the time I won’t know I don’t like something until I touch it and by then I’m pretty much gagging so it’s not cute

How did loaded batta react when he heard that the king of diamonds was in the dungeon when he and the rest of TV world arrived in castle town?

Mmm, I think he'd be a little surprised because he knew him when he was an opulent king, and now he's wearing cat ears and face paint whiskers behind bars

He wouldn't visit, i don't think, by this point in time that's his ex that he hasn't had contact with since moving to TV World and getting into a polycule (polymikes<3) (because he wasn't expecting to ever see the guy again)

Not to mention, i don't think Jongler and Pluey would be okay with it (he loaded their BOYFRIEND) if Battat really wanted to swing by, they'd join, but he doesn't so none of them are popping by

For the loaded die battat idea, does thw mike obsession and theory making help battat satisfy some of his pippins needs? Cause like, i did hear a cool headcanon once that pippins love things that are uncertain/unknown and risky (e.g. gambling), and theories involve uncovering mysteries and the unknown, and doing the whole mike identity thief is risky

Also, what is tenna like here? If the mike reveal happened and it ended well (i.e. tenna and the mike trio are cool and/or friends without any masks in the way), how would he react if he found out that battat became a loaded die because of diamond king?

I'd say yes (cuz ive seen and think that hc is neat too<3) but not much anymore with the well of info drying up because it starts looking like a cold case, which is interesting at first but when you can't go anywhere it's not as fun

Being mike himself is fun for Battat though, he keeps coming back to it, so it's gotta be, right? One slip up and Tenna might know! But thats the fun of it :D

As for Tenna, he gets it, both sides

He's asked Battat if they could remove it or fix it and had to get the unpleasant news that it would likely be just as bad and that Battat's lived like that so long he'd probably be rendered useless again (during recovery) and that he'd really rather not

Television waits for no man and Battat would definitely be left in the dust

Tenna, as an attempt at repayment, tries to find little mysteries Battat can solve that won't be full blown, stay up late at night, 5 corkboards, and slew of papers (good luck, Tenna) obsessions that keep Battat happy and entertained (it kinda works)

What would battena be like with loaded battat?

Hmmm, i actually haven't thought much about how that would affect their relationship

The whole KoD situation probably messes with Battat's perception of how to show loyalty and possibly even having trust from a higher up

Battat would likely fall into feeling like he constantly needs to prove loyalty because, what has he done to prove it to Tenna? (Y'know cuz the whole Mike thing doesn't count (it does))

Battat's looking for every chance to prove to Tenna he cares, and I think at first Tenna doesn't realize that's what's happening but he does eventually figure it out (he's rather observant), but I'm not sure he would try to put a stop to it because it just makes it that much easier to see that Battat isn't going anywhere

Also, how i interpret the royaldice relationship is that KoD was rather doting, singing praises, giving gifts, dressing Battat up

While he did order the loading and did use it to set the foundation of their relationship, the king was constantly showing that he was happy with Battat

So, Tenna not doing that messes with Battat a bit and makes him constantly feel like he's in the hot seat and needs to fight for affection

Soooo, i was thinking about this because i have an AU/fic thing where Battat's leg ends up breaking off and how it would knock a weight loose

All come with forms of damage, his head got cracked open to put the weights in, so taking them out is just as bad if not worse because now there's just a hole where the weight was

Im not sure how well i can describe it (sleepy + not the best with words) but theyll leave holes in his body that would likely need to be filled or severely overcorrected for

Because i like the idea of the weights eventually coming loose i prefer to think theyre able to remove the one in his head with minimal problems, but honestly they probably couldnt or its still extremely unpleasant

It would mean getting broken open twice, being awake for other people rummaging around in your head twice, losing your agency twice, yeah, they fixed you, but youre broken again in the meantime, was it worth it?

Also, i think that they cant only do half the work either (like just removing the leg weights (MUCH EASIER THAN THE HEAD WEIGHT)) (side tangent, i think they leave the weights in the legs exposed 1. To make sure they arent getting messed with and 2. To show others that their loaded w/o needing to roll) because the leg weights keep the head weight from making the pippins from feeling like their constantly spinning but the leg weights alone arent gonna change their rolling patterns

In summary, (cuz i went off the deep end) there would be damage and if you took out the head weight, why wouldnt you also take out the leg weights (easier access) and removal of the weights would lead to Battat feelings far lighter and needing to overcorrect how he was living or else he's gonna look like one of those wobble cats x10

i know you answered something similar like this before but i want to ask just in case.....

May i use your version/idea of how battat became a loaded die for some of my own battat lore.......it wouldnt be necessarily under diamond kings rule nor would it be for the reasons diamond did it but itd be some sort of sick punishment spade king would inflict before the pippins got sent off to tv world because he wanted to leave a reminder for the other pippinses that were forced to stay

Okay, so loaded battat wouldn't be able to run that fast cause of the weights in his legs, but do you think he'd be able to rollerskate really fast?

The loading kinda messes with his ankles (messing with his walk) but yes absolutely, he's just gonna look a little silly and need to adapt for his stance and weight distribution (had to check this with a friend because last time I went roller skating I sprained an ankle, I'm really bad at it)

I imagine if they put him on a board of some kind with a rope attached and dragged him it'd be fine

heheh thinking of the pippinses dragging battat out to pull him around on a board with wheels, they manage to get him on a ramp and it goes downhill from there, trouble makers
