Coffee

Often, on a cold wintery day, coffee shops are usually crowded with folks. The bittersweet scent of coffee lingers in the cold, chilling wind. Sometimes, it only takes a balmy cup of coffee to cheer one up on a cold day. The taste of coffee can be truly spellbinding. Its vintage scent can draw back memories and remind people of the good old times. Just one sip of its rich flavour, one could be yearning for more. The feel of contentness can be truly satisfying. After all, who wouldn’t want coffee as one of their best friends.

Imagery: Dusk

    As dusk approaches, the sky darkens into layers and layers of crimson. It’s almost as if the clouds are being dipped in a palette. Slowly the sun, like a furious ball of fire, sinks down the horizon. Little by little, the light fades from the world and darkness embraces with open arms. A great and terrible beauty. The marking of a day’s end. Soon, almost there. dawn will come and light the world up again with hope. For now, let the darkness sink in and fill the night with tranquility and peace. After all, there is no light without darkness.
