â—¤worth the waitâ—Ą Jimmy & Konnor
The drive was rather long admittedly, longer than Ryan had expected, but he didn't regret it; not when he knew he had Jimmy waiting for him. He'd dropped off Jack at his mothers house while he was away, unsure of how long he'd be gone with his impromptu trip, but thinking it was totally worth it either way. Jack would enjoy the change of company, and the treats he was sure she'd give him; and as for Ryan? He could only imagine that his own treat was the fact he'd get to kiss the other again, the moment Jimmy opened his door. Honestly though he never did intend for things to get this far, telling himself that he'd focus on his career again instead of romance, what with his last relationship—but now that things had progressed he'd like to think he could keep up with both; damned if he didn't try at least. In his mind it was like everything was against this, be it work or people in their lives...but not him, and not Jimmy; that's what mattered— right? Right. By the time his truck had pulled up Jimmy's the sun was already down, and Ryan was so ready to be out of his vehicle that it wasn't even funny; it'd been awhile since he'd been in it that long. Not since his independent days at least when he'd have to drive around a lot more to get to his matches that ended up being more all over the place. Hopefully he hadn't caught the other asleep yet, shutting the door to the truck before walking up to the door and knocking. He's pretty sure Prince Charming never drove almost twenty hours, not including the nap he did stop to take for two hours just to see his princess, then again he's pretty sure he'd of taken a plane before he even tried to ride a horse all that way. He liked to be romantic, but he wasn't stupid.
