Do I have to be liked?

To this day I have this deep concern about what people think of me. I have learned to manage it and do the right thing most of the time. But I can't fight it. I have this hollow feeling inside like I'm the most hated person in the world. I'm not and I'm loved by some of the nicest and genuine people in the world. I just don't always remember that. 25/May/15

Intro 25th May 2015

I spent 20 years of my life being straight. I didn’t want anyone to know that I was gay. I behaved like a bastard to everyone as I was so scared of people finding out. When I did come out it was like a compressed spring exploding open. I went on a destructive path that left me with very little to show for it.
