Like, you have a sim (in my case, my damn-near perfect replica self-sim [be advised avatar is super old self-sim]) and then you take a copy of that sim and change everything except the facial/body structure & zodiac (including traits and lifetime wishes) as many times as you want (in my case I would make five more identical sims with different looks/personality) - you can name them differently of course - and put them all in the same household. Â The copies of the base sim represent different personalities.
Hardcore mode: Don't change their looks OR names AT ALL. Copies are identical in every single way (same clothes, hair, etc etc) and still play them in the same household. Ha.

I have the same problem with the sim delaying! I think this is because the game has to go through all your CC to change clothes. Try pausing it during the action of getting in the shower for a few seconds. That's been working out for me. xx
Yep! I read about the pausing on a forum somewhere through my research. It does work! I just cleaned out my DCBackup folder (my damn game crashed) and my caches and now I'm sitting on a loading screen, lol.Thanks for your help! Cheers, 'nonny!

My game used do that while using awt HQ mod. Maybe you should try a lower setting one? :)
Well I have it set to the highest texture setting (4096 I believe?), mostly because 1) my laptop’s just that good and 2) why not? xD But it even says on aWT’s blog that it’s not recommended for constant gameplay, so hey, I’ll look into this. I’m dealing with it for now because I haven’t actually had time to PLAY the game, what with CC download binges and perfecting my selfsim.
I also plan on clearing my DCBackup folder. All 2229 motherfriggin’ files.

ETA: Reading somewhere on the interwebs, a tip that actually does work is pausing if the sim hesitates. Â What I do is pause, check my shit on Tumblr and such for a few minutes, go back in game, unpause, and boom, she's actually getting in the shower. \o/

I don't know how to accurately term it. Â Hesitation? Delay? Â I've just queued up a shower for my sim, and she's currently standing it front of it as if there's nothing to do. Â Eventually, she'll get in the shower, but it'll be like two sim hours later, and let's be honest, nobody got time for that.
Anyone know of anything that will help solve this? Dx
(All EPs and SPs, 1.50 patch, utterly disorganized Mods folder [someone wanna teach me how to merge my packages?] and NRaas Master Controller with 4/5 additional modules. However this problem happened without MC installed.)

So I'm remaking my self-sim and I noticed that the Diesel clothes look particularly good on me/her.
The irony of Diesel being my favourite brand ever, and then EA making a stuff pack of it. xD
So I'm wondering if the very  decent hair and clothes from University Life has anything to do with the fact that Maxis is producing the expansions now...

Heh. Sure, but you NEED to register, and you're gonna need a translator, or Google Chrome. It's not ALL TSR, and it doesn't have all of TSR, but today alone I must have downloaded over a hundred things. I just put the name of the content (or the creator) into the search bar and usually it'll pop up. Just remember you need to register.http://www.sims3planet.ru
