Fire Under My Feet by Leona Lewis

Fire Under My Feet is a perfect song to continue this week’s #PostItForward campaign as it’s all about overcoming adversity. It’s an upbeat song with Leona Lewis’s luscious vocals gliding over and sliding through the pulsating rhythm.

Lewis is a former winner of the British X Factor and is gorgeous to boot. But her song and the accompanying video celebrate a different kind of beauty and different kind of success. There’s a woman with a large facial birthmark, another woman with prosthetic legs, a black male who is albino, a drag queen, a Native American. These people and their exuberance in the video ably convey the message of hope in the lyrics:
