Song that Exposes the Modern 'Give to Get' World
'He Has a Million Dollar' is my debut song released almost a year ago. It exposes the modern 'give to get' world and the insincerity of the people in it.
"He has a million dollar and he believes that do I"
This lyric captures the main idea of the song. "Him" is a collective image of all the insincere and fake people I've ever met. It represents a certain type of person who wants you to have what they have, as if you're not good or cool enough to be in their life without it.
"He hopes that I have noticed but the only thing I've noticed is lie"
It's pretty obvious what this line means, isn't it? :)
"They said he is a serious person and he believes that am I"
I absolutely love this line!!! It's about that moment when someone expects you to be serious, promising, or something you're not.
"And he hopes that I haven't noticed but I have already noticed his lie"
It feels like a moment of the victory over pretentious people.
Fighting with society and its expectations is my pain. My pain is my art. My art is my music. Why not give it to you as a gift? I want you to listen 'He Has a Million Dollar' while driving, having fun, enjoying your life, or even being frustrated because there is always power behind frustration and sorrow. Give this song a listen, and you'll definitely get what I mean.
One of the greatest pleasures that art can give an artist is standing a chance of being heard by as many people as possible. I'd be happy to know if you liked this song, it would mean the world to me!
Sincerely,
Dinay
