it’s very fun i love how it’s almost acapella but still again HITS so hard like it’s STRIPPED down but SLAPS and the flow is KILLER there’s like it’s relentless there’s not a beat not hit

i didn’t expect this to be a ballad! it’s like midtempo too? but it’s so good… the production like on the instrumental and vocals is so haunting and expansive
it has some bite too though ugh they did that

the harmonies in the bridge and then the adilibs in the final chorus…..

i’m keeping them in the same ORDER as they’re originally in though, so it starts with the first godly banger, then first bop and ballad, salute’s revenge duo, second bop and ballad, cinematic jam duo, then ends with the second godly banger. it works SO WELL…
god they really did that. i think think about us is my fave rn but idk idk idk THERE’S SO MUCH….
this discography is such a force to be reckoned with like lm5 really feels like a proper followup to salute and then has aspects of the DNA OF THE GROUP from dna, and then a refinement of the “mature” pop from glory days. (and then get weird is kind of this very quirky spinoff of dna). i do wish instead of joan of arc we had gotten like a power 2.0 but whatever. and they fixed all the issues i had with (the growing pains of) glory days like the voices are BACK there’s so much AMAZING harmonization and real like VOCALIZATION not yelling lol and intricate mixing/arrangements, and there’s no like trend hopping (except woman like me which i am BAFFLED was chosen to represent the album GOD……….) which i’m not necessarily against but they have their OWN SOUND that like ONLY they have and it’s FULLY at the forefront and being explored here… I JUST……….
