But I am NOT going to let that happen. It was the literal, exact OPPOSITE of no homo. Let’s walk through it. Take my hand.

AaAaAaa the dreaded “not romantic” line we were all waiting for. NOT. Listen carefully.  Right here, Yuuri is NOT talking about Viktor. He is talking about his THEME, and his theme is about ALL of Yuuri’s love. And here is why that is so much more important than just some old “this theme is about how I fell in love with Viktor” declaration.

Yuuri’s theme is not about his love for Viktor. It’s about what Viktor has taught him. Before Viktor came into his life, all Yuuri knew was the feeling of being completely alone, even if he was surrounded by other people. He was so insecure and, in his mind, undeserving of love that he was blind to it. But when Viktor showed up, Yuuri began to see. He learned what it was to open himself up as well as take others in, emotionally, physically, fuckign sexually. He began to recognize how blessed he was for his family, his friends, the town he grew up in, the sport he’s been a part of ever since he was a child.

Since it’s been confirmed previously that Viktor doesn’t understand japanese and has been talking to Yuri in english, the reason he had no reaction to Yuri’s speech is likely because he didn’t know what he was saying

EDIT: people have been pointing out his eyes were wide a second earlier. But Yuuri (who is usually shy and contained) had just suddenly started shouting energetically into the mic, Viktor didn’t have to understand what was being said to be surprised.
