Summer Lovin' || Beau & Libby
Libby laughed as he started picking things off the shelf. Her eyes widened a bit when he suggesting getting one of everything, but thankfully he realized that wasn’t the best idea. “How about we stick to the six pack and a bottle of vodka?” She suggested, glancing over at him.
Once they got what all they wanted, she got next Beau and followed him to the front of the store. She got in front of him and put all her stuff on the belt, including the tampons he didn’t want to buy. Everything was scanned and bagged and she swiped her card to pay. “I’ll meet you out there, yeah?”
When she got a nod from him, she headed outside with bags in hand, packing them in the back seat of her range rover. She waited until she saw Beau before walking over to his jeep thay was only two vehicles over. “My house or yours first?” She asked, leaning against the front of his jeep.
After the cart was filled with their items Beau pushed it to the front of the store, Libby right by his side. He waited for her to put her items up on the belt to be scanned. He nodded with a smile when she said she'd meet him outside.
Beau watched closely as she walked away and kept an eye on her through the front windows of the grocery store. "Damn she's beautiful." He muttered under his breath. "Oh Sorry." He blushed realizing the cashier heard him. He flashed his ID to buy the beer and vodka, and quickly paid before making his way out to the jeep.
"Let's go to yours first, and then we can leave your car and I can drive." Beau said with a smirk. "Because I know how much you love my driving." He laughed as he popped the trunk and tossed the bags in. "I'll meet you there." He walked to her and wrapped a loose arm around her back quickly pressing his lips to hers. "Drive safe."
Right? It’s a bit of history and carrying on of tradiations.
It helps too when your parent's know and understand the traditions.

Libby giggled at his smile. His face had matured a bit. He had sharper features and no more baby fat on his face. His muscles were a lot more defined and she offered her thanks to the football god for that. But one thing that hadn’t changed was his big, goofy grin she loved so much.
She nodded to answer his question, her smile still ear to ear. When he left she let out a happy sigh, trying not to let herself get carried away with the feeling in her tummy. He made her feel like she was walking on clouds and like her heart was trying to break out of her rib cage. She grabbed a few packages of the freeze pops and then headed over to meet Beau.
"Hiya." She greeted, bouncing on her toes a little out of excitement. She placed her stuff in the buggy, trying to keep it desperate from the things he had to buy for his family. Falling into step next to him, her eyes scanned the aisle. "What’s your poison?"
If it was possible for Libby to have gotten any more attractive in the almost 3 years since they had probably last seen each other. Beau literally ran to the front of the store, only dropping a box of cereal once, and nearly running into three old ladies in the process.
Throwing his stuff in the cart, he headed towards the beer section. He ran and stood up on the bottom of the cart riding down the aisle and feeling the wind flowing through his hair like a dog sticking it's head out the window. He only stopped when the cart almost nailed a little kid, but before he knew it he had made it back to where Libby was. "Ello Gorgeous." He chimed in a mock british accent.
Beau looked at all the options plucking a six pack from the shelf and putting it in the cart. "Some of these, one of whatever this is." He made a face as he picked up something he couldn't really even read the label on. "What does this even say?" He squinted and a laugh erupted from his lips. "Let's just get one of everything and go crazy." He shook his head immediately after. "Nevermind that is a horrible idea."
Don’t lie to me, you’re still a jaguar at heart, aren’t you?
You can't win a championship as a Jaguar and not consider yourself to be a jaguar a heart.
I really can’t believe you, Ayers, all this time I thought you’d gotten over that Pelican crap.
I did. I was a Jameson Jaguar through and through while I was a junior and senior in high school. But when the superintendent gives you a call, and offers you a teaching gig, you don't say no.

Libby nodded vigorously. “Yes, freeze pops are a big yes.” She swung their hands as they walked. “What can I say? Grocery stores are my calling.” She shrugged, giggling a little. Her face was starting to hurt now from smiling too much, but she couldn’t help herself.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea. It’s not supposed to rain tonight, so I think we’re in the clear." When he didn’t know what brand to get she sighed, shaking her head. "You’d make an awful female." She laughed, looking at the list. "Yeah, you should probably call her, just to be safe." She handed the list back, glancing over the selection.
Once he got off the phone and they’d got the right box, the pair headed to the freezer section. “Freeze pops!” She said excitedly, grinning like a kid. “You’re lying if you say ice cream doesn’t turn you into a big kid, okay.”
"You'll just be the next Wal-Mart guy and own a fleet of grocery stores or something." Beau said with a laugh as he pulled his phone out to awkwardly call his mother. "Hey Mom." He began the call and a few winces later and a reassuring to his mother that he didn't need to know that much information about what he was buying he hung up and grabbed a box.
"Yeah, we might have to pick up a few more things for ourselves then, but I think we are in the clear weather wise." As they entered the freezer section Beau stopped to grab a few microwave pizzas for the basket. "Nice!"
"I'm just a big kid all the time, let's be honest." A cheesy smile grew on his lips. "Alright, we definitely should've gotten a cart." Beau held up the overflowing basket. "I'll grab a cart and meet you in the back by the beer?" He raised and eyebrow and shot up some finger guns before running to the front of the store.
You’ve got nothing to worry about, I’m sure.
Well in terms of the game I think Pelham has this one in the bag, but My house got egged this morning so I could be wrong.
Playing a game at Jameson tomorrow. Rivalry week isn't as fun when you're the coach.

"You know, my niece’s name is Aspen." She’d forgotten his sister’s name was the same, but now smiled at the fact. "Yeah, the freeze things. I always liked the blue ones." She mused as they continued to walk the aisle. These next few weeks were already starting to prove to be pretty nostalgic.
When he asked about the shampoo, she hummed for a moment trying to remember. “I think it’s on aisle six.” She rolled her eyes, but giggled when he referred to tampons as nasty stuff. They moseyed around to aisle six and she smiled victoriously when she was right. This place really hadn’t changed a bit.
She stopped in front of the tampons, glancing over at Beau. “Were there any special request?” She asked, knowing every girl prefred certain things.
"It's a good name." Beau squeezed her hand "Dude! The blue ones yes." He nodded excitedly. "We should get some of those for us too. I'm sure we could finish off a whole box."
"Aisle Six. Wow you are a grocery store guru." Beau smiled and picked up some random stuff that looked sort of familiar putting it in his basket and finding her hand again quickly. "You know what we should do?" His eye got wide as he felt the idea growing in his mind. "We should order a pizza pick it up, grab some booze of some sort, get a blanket, some freeze pops and all sorts of crap and have a picnic."
Beau laughed a little. "Requests?" His eyes grew wide at he looked at all the packages and reached into the basket to grab the list. "Uhhh does this say anything? Umm here." He handed her the list "I have no idea. Should I call her?"
