How is Avid doing after his shifts? Does he have a way to wind down and recover from what he goes through?

Often Avid and Drift will find that they need a break from the nightshifts and detective work respectively. Visiting the local bakery, doing a little shopping, among other things, often does the trick for some leisure time.

In Avid’s case, his favourite place to go to is the nail salon!

This could technically be considered a sequel to this post. Aka, in which Legundo sees Owen’s genuine laugh for the first time.

I imagine Owen doesn’t let a lot of people see him like this. He drops the stoic mask without even realizing it when Legundo manages to make him laugh. A loud, genuine laugh.

(When Legundo asks him about it later, Owen denies every claim.)

an au i thought about a couple days ago, unsure if i'll do anything with this, but it's nice to rotate around!

basically: what if a panicked avid, just escaping a bad situation, stumbles across a lone cabin by the riverside, hosting a strange fisherman and his cat. seeing the sorry state of the wolf(...dog? perhaps both, it is fairly small for a wolf), the man, viking, decides to try and help him out a little...

...and, long story short, that's how a werewolf ends up bunking with a vampire– not that either of them realize this for a while.

so i may have went a little crazy with blockbench today.

i don't really go to bannerfall, since stream smps are a little hard to keep up with, but i had to check out avid's stream on it today– and i saw the skin he had(which i'm... 70% sure lemonthyne made? judging purely off the eyes, but i don't know for sure), and i looked at it and thought... "hm... whabif... tail..."

and then the demons got to me.

not only did i make him a proper merthey tail, but i also animated them! which i learned today purely for this. surprisingly easier than i expected? but tbf, it's only an idle animation. still, i'm happy with how it came out!
