-she smiles- Alright, alright. A hot chocolate would be wonderful. Thank you. Not at all, please go ahead.
Great. May I have a hot chocolate please? [she asked the passing waitress with a smile, turned to Daisy] How are you doing?
Thank you. -she smiles- I'm good, thank you. How about yourself?
I know the feeling. I just feel so angry and afraid and helpless all the time. I try to put on a smile, but half the time it feels forced. -she sighs-
“I hope this will all be over soon.”
Me too -her voice goes quieter- Me too
Of course! No, i’m not busy at all. Oh nonsense, you don’t have to do that, I’m happy to help.
But I want to. Please. [she gestured for Daisy to sit down beside her] I’d love to talk some too, if you didn’t mind.

You and me both. It’s has to be. I mean, it can’t go on forever. It just can’t.
I know, I dread hearing names of those I care about
“Whenever I visit someone I’m always afraid that it might be the last time and I absolutely hate it. I hate feeling so..weak.”

How about I go through my notes and you can help me? If you’re not busy, that is. I’ll buy you some tea or coffee, or something to eat if you’d like.

It’s Time to Party || Daisy & Isabella
Isabella had spent the day dreading getting ready for the ball. She liked dressing up as much as the next girl, but one thing she didn’t do well was schmoozing. Finally, after spending an hour on hair and make-up, she begrudgingly left for the Ministry. The knowledge of who she might see there didn’t make it any easier; she had no desire to socialize or even see Alexander or the rest of her family.
Upon entering, she saw a slew of familiar faces, but none of whom she wanted anything to do with at the moment - or ever, really. Almost as quickly as she could, she walked over to the bar and asked for a glass of wine. Anything to dull the boredom really. There were several faces that she knew but many that she did not.
She turned, her back to the bar, looking out over the crowd. She couldn’t remember the last time that she had been to a Ministry function. She supposed that her father used to go to these, but she was far too young then to remember anything like that. Very well she knew that this world of splendor and refinery was not for her. She was the wild card among queens of hearts.
It was only when someone else, looking equally as foreign and unsure as she felt, came up to the bar that Isabella felt a little more at ease in her surroundings. Clearly, she was not the only one who felt out of place and this provided some solace. She smiled at the girl who had come to the bar, and mimicked her position. “Not one for these events either, are you?” She gave a kind smile. “It’s alright, it seems that some others here aren’t as well. What’s your name?”
The party didn’t have the same grandeur of a ball, but the host had clearly gone out of their way to make it as sophisticated as they could.Stood in the middle of the party, Daisy actually thanked whoever and whatever for making her small. Even in heels she only reached a mere five foot four and for that she was grateful. Of course there were people she knew and exchanged friendly hellos and pleasantries with, but Daisy was a shy person around new people and she didn’t really know what to do.
Leaning against the bar with another drink in her hand. That alone told how nervous she was, she was only drinking to keep herself preoccupied. There was a nice warm buzz that was forming in her stomach. However, before Daisy could contemplate and escape route someone walked over to the bar and stood in front of her, a smile on her face as she looked at Daisy. As the girl spoke, Daisy couldn’t help but smile. Thankful that she didn’t seem to be the only one feeling a little out of sorts.
Daisy shook her head a the girl’s questions, “Not really. I mean, don’t get me wrong parties and stuff are great. Maybe this was one is just a little too.... formal. I’m not great around large groups of people. I usually just keep talking until someone shuts me up” It was then that Daisy realised she was running the risk of freaking the girl out who had clearly come over to ease her discomfort. “Like that” Daisy added light-heartedly.
“I hope it will end soon. I don’t know how much longer I can take this..”
Me too. I mean it has to come to an end eventually. The world can no carry on this way for ever, it just can’t...
